Again, it took me 3 months just to step in the door because I was so back and forth from what I've heard. Rush Cheovrolet has new management and I was REALLY impressed! Coming from a big skeptical - and they had no idea. Initially I was drawn to get my services done at the dealership due to the welcoming nature of my talk with the service advisor Travis. He told me they performed my type of service here all the time with trained and skilled mechanics on staff that specialized on installed transmissions . He went on further to lure me to bring service to the dealership becaue he could offer me the best price and also give me an additional discount on my services if I got my vehicle towed to the shop today to show good faith . I decided to get my vehicle the same day to the shop. Once it arrived we coordinated parts and repairs and went back and fourth on pricing of services I needed for my vehicle. After I had selected all the services and parts I needed we had come to a final work up of the repairs I was going to authorize. I was relieved and then asked him now that we know exactly all the repairs I need what kind of discount would he be able to apply to my service ticket. This is where things went south. He responded to me by saying their will be no additional discounts the price it was final. I reminded him of the conversation over discounts and he told me that what he really meant was that he would see if he could apply a discount if he could but not that he would . That was the first slap in the face . I grudgingly moved forward with the repairs as I had already spent money getting the vehicle towed to the dealership from Pflugerville. Backing out now would cost me more money. Next Issue was communication I had provided the majority of the parts needed for the repairs. I requested a call back or update if anything was missing parts wise or if there was a delay in repairs due to issues with parts. A day and half went by before I called in requesting an update and was told that parts were needed to continue working on vehicle I asked why I hadn't been notified sooner as I wanted to get repairs done asap. His replay was I got busy with everything else going on and was not able to call me. It doesn't take 2 days to call an open ticket either an update. I ultimately called in had I not the vehicle would have sat longer without a update or phone call to me to let me know the status of my vehicle repairs . I then requested that they remove the transmission oil pan from transmission to confirm the failure in my transmission as they woukd have to drain the unit anyway once they removed it to ship it back to my outside vendor . He told me that just removing the pan to check for metal debris in the transmission oil pan would cost me $450.00 additionally on to my ticket. He told me he could not ask his text to do that work as it was a menu service item and could not do it for free . I reminded him that the pan was going to be removed either way to drain and prepare for the return shipping of the core back to the vendor where I bought the transmission from . At this point I had enough and asked that he put everything together and stop all work. I hung up with him at this point. I got a call later that day from Travis saying that he spoke to the technician and he went ahead and opened and checked the transmission pan like I originally requested because he was curious too about the condition of the transmission prior to replacement. I asked why they had done that because i wasn't going to pay for the $450.00 dollar service i was quoted to do that. He said we went ahead and just opened it up to check it out since they were just curious themselves. I then asked why they would charge me that service if they were going to do it themselves anyway to meet the core return requirements anyway. He said we'll I just cant do work for free like that. My question was then why did you do it. Clearly to get me back on the hook to get me to move forward with the repairs . Were talking $2500.00 dollars in repairs at this point . Long story short . Their has been a mis steep at every point of my service. Today when I arrive to pick up and pay for my vehicle I ask if I can test drive vehicle im told im that I cant until my original service advisor returns from lunch . Or I have the option of paying for the unit and coming back if their is any issues with the truck. Which I think is very odd . All I want to do is drive the vehicle for my piece of mind before I pickup and pay for all the services. Sure enough I wait an hour for the advisor to return to work because no one in the entire dealership was available to come with me on a courtesy test drive . Needless to say their was issues with the truck that arose that were not present prior to the service. Meaning the vehicle now had additional meaning more problems then it had when it arrived. My tempature gauge is not working and my tail light bulbs right hand side were not working anymore. This place is the worst I have ever been to I took my 2024 black truck for an oil change and service, first thing I asked was do they grease the front end, they said no it is not on their checklist, I told them that is BS, it should be done, my dealership back home performs this, after the service guy talked to his manager they said they would, well after I got back in my truck and pulled off I noticed my hands were oily, I pulled over and had to wipe off the steering wheel as someone had gotten in with greasy hands after Further inspection I noticed a wire for my electric steps was pulled out from under the dash, how in the world that happened I have no idea. My fender was covered in grease and smeared. I called the service guy and he apologized and said to bring it back he would fix these things, I told him no, if you perform this shoddy work I don't anyone from there even close to my truck. I asked do you use fender covers, he said no, I was livid, anyone who ever works on a vehicle should protect the paint on a customers vehicle. Issue with communication and delay  at the service department at Elgin Rush Chevrolet   Ive visited the service department with my Chevy Traverse 2018, on Wednesday Dec 3 at 5pm. The lights ABS and stabilitrak came on, they ran a quick diagnosis, it had to do with the pump brake so I had to leave my car. I called on monday december 8, and they said that they had dispatched lots of vehicles that morning and there was one car in front of mine. I had to call them again on Tuesday they still didn't have an update, same thing on wednesday. Thursday came around I called and wanted to speak to the manager in the service department who apparently was not available to talk to me. I asked the service department to give me a rental, they said I can put you in line. There are like 30 people in line trying to get a rental. They called me on Thursday after 5pm saying that they had ordered the parts, they were hoping the parts would arrive Friday morning if they did the vehicle would be ready friday afternoon. But if the parts would come in later it would push my vehicle until monday. Monday Dec 15, I had to call and get an update, they said that the parts had arrived monday and that one of the parts came in broken so they had to order it again. I got my car 2 weeks later and the communication was poor. I had to be the one calling to get the update on my vehicle. read more

I had an issue while installing aftermarket power steps, inaccurate install guide, and the manufacturer's worthless tech support recommended going to the dealer to get my BCM reprogrammed. Multiple people at the dealer were very open and honest with me, telling me that they didn't believe it would fix the issue, but were willing to try. They ended up being correct, and took it upon themselves to read my install manual and figure out the problem. It was so refreshing to have them go out of their way to help me out instead of just saying "not our product, not our problem". When I left a couple hours later, I had fully functioning steps. I am very disappointed in Rush Chevy service department, we bought our 2024 Tahoe from them about 2 years ago. I toke it to them on 8/28/2025 to have the oil change/tire rotation. I had a 10am appt. I was dropping it off early due to work it was 7:30 so service department was open and when I first walked in the service manager did not even acknowledge me for 10 minutes and he was standing 5 feet from me and then when he finally did I had to wait another 10minute for him to help me. I had a coupon for a free oil change and tire rotation and he would not honor it saying I had already used it in March, when I didn't get the coupon until May. He also spoke to me as the typical stereotypical car maintenance guy taking to a women, he was very rude and condescending. If you end up with Raul Lopez good luck almost zero knowledge about vehicles, no communication skills will threaten to have your warranty denied because doing his job is an inconvenience to him and verbatim he "would not rather worry about my concerns it's almost time for him to go home ". Expect to pay that and whatever charges the "technician asks for" even if it doesn't make sense or they create the issue. They will charge you outside of what their estimation system has in place (which is the legal guideline), and due to the insurance companies not being legally responsible for a dollar outside of mandated costs they will try to charge you. I have full coverage warranty, bumper to bumper including aftermarket items, all the way down to a scuff on my rims, every electrical item covered besides a the battery. (Which is brand new less than a week) etc. I came in letting the advisor know exactly the 1/2 things it could be and of course it was one of the two and still charged for an extra hour diagnosis outside of the hour the warranty company paid for that he claimed wasn't paid for. I was then threatened by the advisor that he would contact the warranty company to try to have the claim denied due to aftermarket parts because I asked questions in regards to fees that aren't supposed to fall back on the customer. He made this threat not knowing every item on my truck is literally warrantied and I've worked as an advisor, managed an entire shop and worked 5 different insurance companies accts. I'm familiar with every aspect of the repair process. While there they created an issue that wasn't occurring prior to drop off and told me to come back bc he didn't have time to worry about it he wanted to get off work. I was told it was just my key fob not locking my doors. That if I wanted it fixed it would be 2-3 hours around 300-450 to diagnose the issue they created. So I picked my truck up. Come to find out the windows, key fob, mirrors and locks, and every button on my doors was now broken. They didn't work because they put 4 fuses in the wrong place, placed a 20 amp in a 25 amp location, put a 10 amp where a 30 amp belonged, left two fuse placements empty and left one completely out on my floorboard. After fixing the fuses and checking my driver window switch the problem was fixed in 1/2 hour by myself in the dark but they were wanting to pull apart all four of my doors to test actuators etc which makes no sense and charge a couple hundred more out of pocket. It's almost as if they don't even know how to work on cars the dealership makes. To make matters worse they won't contact you with an update or tell you anything at unless you call. I was never contacted to be informed the insurance approved repairs. Or when they were done. Not once did I receive a call until I told them to hold off on continuing with bogus diags. And id be taking it elsewhere. Again I fixed in 30 minutes what they had for 7 days with no idea but to charge out another couple hundred. Today was by far the worst customer service experience and false information given. I was sent a text message advising that I could sell my car so I called and asked for details then went to car lot to get vehicle appraised. I spoke with manager Jim Miranda (name I was given by manger Ezdine Chaheine) who advised me that I would be receiving a debit card with the amount of the sale from the cashier today and they would pay my bank via check the remaining balance by which it would be clear in 30 days and off my credit once the transactions were complete. Jim left for the day and during the closing of deal, I was informed that they would pay the BANK my promised amount and I would be responsible for remaining balance which is the complete opposite of what Jim Miranda told me. Stay away! The worst place to buy a vehicle!  Caution lengthy review ahead... This place calls up my husband on a Friday morning and tells him they have a deal for us and asks if we can come in that afternoon. We call up the place and ask about this deal (we don't have a trade in and we tell them what we are looking for down payment and car note wise and that we want a truck) because we live an hour away and we don't want them wasting our time. The salesperson says yes they have an approved amount for us we just need to pick a vehicle so we know exactly payment wise what it will be. So cool! We take off that afternoon from work and we load up our family and drive out there. We get there and they tell us the offer has expired! But they just have to redo it and we will still get the same deal. They can't do it that day and tell us they will give us a call on Sunday since they are closed Saturday. We wait all day Sunday and no call. So we call them and they tell us that we are approved but nothing can be finalized because the banks are closed and ask if we can come in on Monday. So we take off work on Monday and are waiting for them to call us. We have to call them yet again and a Manager decides to takeover because our salesperson was doing a terrible job communicating with us. So the manager goes over the paperwork and tells us yes everything is good to go and we are approved for a vehicle for a certain amount. We get an email from a different salesperson saying he has trucks lined up for us to test drive. We get there and they say we are actually approved for a vehicle that is 5000 less from the original offer. So already they lied to us. But whatever! We still find a vehicle we like. And it is and additional 5000 less than what we are approved for. So 10000 less than the original "offer" . So we just need to go through the paperwork to see what the monthly payments would be. We wait an hour. The guy still hasn't put it through. We wait another hour and still nothing. So we get upset talk to a manager who says he will get things moving along. So they are going over the paperwork with us and tell ask where our trade in is. WHAT?! We told them no trade in! They knew that from the dang beginning! So we get that cleared up and another hour goes by and they want to show us a different vehicle. We go outside and they had pulled around a van and tell us they can make that work for us. We are livid! There backed out of the offer they had for us, lied about the terms twice, they wasted hours and days of our time, they showed us a kind of vehicle we did not want! We were clear from the beginning what we wanted and if they couldn't make it happen we weren't going to go there. They lied to get us there. This salesperson apparently couldn't do his job without a manager! All of the staff had horrible communication skills. And some of the vehicle they showed us has dead bugs in it and used cups in the cupholders. So stay away! They just waste your time and lie to you! Aaron, Casey and whoever the Manager was. I bought a 2021 Chevy Silverado from them. the last 6 months have been hell with them. The truck started having issues emissions, parking brake, ESC malfunction never got fixed they couldn't find the problem still going on. then the truck started shaking and sputtering really bad took it in they said it was a lifter, they changed it ( supposedly). got it back, three weeks later the truck started smoking really bad white smoke it looked like I had a fog show outside took it in. they said it was a different lifter that was supposed to fix the problem 2 weeks later started smoking again, took it in again now it was a long list of what it could be. They changed out the head gaskets supposedly. it did stop smoking for a little bit. now 8/26/2023 month and half later, smoking really bad again, the truck has the warranty the hole time i have been taking it in. every time I have taken it in they said they were fighting with the warranty company to get paid and they don't want to cover the cost. I just want my truck fixed I am paying a lot of money for it. this is truck number two that I have with them I still own the other one. never again will I buy from them. read more

My husband went in to trade in his truck for a newer one...the amount of disrespect everyone from the sales guys to the managers have...I mean my husband and I are native Texans who have just returned from 5 years in Los Angeles - these guys definitely could fit right in with Californians! Then the prick manager called my husband a liar about another offer we had...and then talked down to my husband about needing to "talk to his wife". Nice try buddy. We also found much better deals alllll over the place on the truck we were going to buy from Rush. Rush was WAY higher than over 3 nearby places. After talking to the finance manager who was very rude was basically no help at all. I was driving from Houston to Austin in my Honda Accord that I purchased at a different dealer. My tire air pressure sensor went off and I felt it was imperative to get the tires checked as soon as possible. I pulled off of 290 when I saw Rush Chevrolet and stopped in front of their service center. Immediately I was greeted by Travis Salter. I explained what had happened and even though there was other people with appointments and the tire people were busy, Travis was able to locate one for me who was about to leave for the day. He ended up finding not one or two but THREE nails in my tire with only two of the holes requiring repair. Not only did he manage to squeeze me in, but the repairs were completed quickly and Travis ended up not even charging me for the repair. This was the worst vehicle buying experience I've ever been through. The process to get pre-approved was easy because I just had to fill out a form online. My salesman "Ab" (Abraham) was personable at the start. He was telling me how my vehicle would be available within a week since it was in transit. He was not mindful about my working hours and I had requested some time off for two separate days. The first day, he agreed to meet with me on a Wednesday at San Marcos, Texas, in mid January 2022 which is a halfway point between the dealership and my residence in San Antonio. Since I had requested time off, I was available that day. He didn't text me at all during the day which is where the nightmare began. I texted him saying that I would be at San Marcos by 6:30pm or around that time. He texted me like at 6pm saying that he was not going to make it today. I had to persuade him to meet with me like we had intended since I was already ten minutes away from San Marcos right after rush-hour traffic. I waited around San Marcos and ate dinner at a local restaurant. I didn't receive communication from him until like 9pm saying that he is running late because he got "held up" but I practically had to beg him at this point and told him that it had to be done today since I requested time off from work and I even offered to meet him in Austin, Texas. He ended up meeting me at a Walmart in Austin and I signed a contract for the truck I purchased... or so I thought. He never provided me copies of the contract or paperwork and he took forever to get back to me. I actually had to call him or text him multiple times in order to get a response from him. I even had to speak to a sales manager named Mark several times just to receive some kind of information. The vehicle at the time was listed at around $46,000 on a contract that I had already signed and agreed to. AB told me that he would be able to have my truck transported to my home as well when it comes in. I was told that my first payment would be in March 2022 which I didn't mind because I thought I was about to have my truck within a week. A few weeks go by and I do not hear from anyone including the manager that said he would check on the status every day. I had to personally call Chevrolet directly because AB would not answer my texts or calls. I just wanted to know where my truck was. I called Chevrolet directly weekly and bi-weekly to get updated information on my vehicle which is what the dealership should have been doing. I basically did their job for them. So a few months go by and they offered me another truck but I told them that I wanted the one that I signed for and that I would wait. At this point I didn't even know if they were still going to sell me the truck but I had given up hope. AB calls me late March 2022 saying that my truck was available. He said that he or the dealership would not be able to transport my truck as initially agreed upon. I drove to Elgin, Texas to sign the contract but the price of the truck actually went up about $2,000 and they had to run my credit again. There was never any financial compensation or additional compensation for my inconvenience. The sales department at Rush Chevrolet is really lacking communication with their customers and I hope they get retrained on how to do their job. I signed the contract and purchased the truck because of the features and body color. I had reached out to 12 different dealerships before I drove to Elgin because I was hoping I would find the truck I wanted. If any other dealership had the truck I wanted, I would've purchased it from them instead. I'm definitely not purchasing anything from them ever again and I'll let all my friends and family know how horrible this process was. read more

Dont go there - once I signed on the dotted line - never heard from my sales man - been waiting for 2 1/2 months for my plates - paper plates expired 2 weeks ago so I called again - the lady had the audacity to ask me if I was sure the plates said July - 7-5-19 is July to me. It does not take over 2 months to get plates - I have bought cars before - when asked when they applied for my plates they flipped it that I was wrong. No one ever called me to see if things were ok.......once the sale is over it is OVER according to them. read more

Took my car in for some significant work - AC, brakes and a cracked catalytic converter. The work was done professionally and when it appeared there were additional problems, their service folks were caring and very considerate. The costs seemed fair and now my car purrs. read more

they deserve a 0 rating. WORST chevrolet dealership i've ever been too. took my car in for an oil change only for the car to come out with a dent. drive the extra mile and take your vehicle to Henna Chevrolet where it will be taken care of and will come out in one piece. DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

Went by here to get my motorcycle inspected. So can't comment on salespeople. The inspection was super quick but their service writer "David" was about as friendly as a snake. No " hi how ya doing" or anything. Maybe he was having a bad day. read more
