Similar to the Glenview location it carries that same old school ambience which is really quite nice. They also sometimes have a live piano player as does Glenview, which is really fantastic and create a great feeling to add to that welcome Homie sense that they build. Similar to the Glenview location I will say again really great selection. They carry great brands however because I feel like it is slightly larger they carry even more product and therefore more options. Love coming here as usual parking is pretty easy inconvenient for Yorktown and so glad that old-school type department stores still exist somewhere here in the Illinois area.

While I was only after medicine, I wandered around as one normally does. The store was overstocked with goods everywhere in several areas, and then empty shelves in others. I was also surprised at how dirty the floors seemed to be, not only with stains, but debris. Definitely not the Target of the past. I got my medicine and headed to check out, where several of the self-check machines were down. I popped over the one cashier and wish I would have stayed in self-check. She was checking her phone during the transaction, which is absolutely wild to me. Overall, hate to see the brand in the shape it is in, but with stores running and looking like this one, I can see a glimpse into why. There were some nice baby clothing items from brands like Carters and Calvin Klein though. I'd be interested to come back and peruse the baby gear, once I see what I need in the future. Getting brand name bottles, boppys, etc at a discount is always a good thing!

It's JC Penny on a weekday morning so I know they are not busy. I wanted to do an exchange since it's been under 60 days and I have the receipt. The items are in new condition but no tags. I know they can easily put new tags on since it requires no skill at all. 1 star for poor customer service. Better off going to Kohl's.

Because of her dedication, I was able to find and purchase the perfect dress just in time for my mom's birthday, and it truly felt like a special moment I would have otherwise missed. I know my mom is going to be absolutely thrilled and deeply touched when she opens it. This gift means so much to her, and I couldn't have done it without Kristal's help. Exceptional customer service like Kristal's is hard to find these days. Another location I was torn between giving 4 or 5 stars…read more "Malls" in 2025 are hard to review as we're in such a weird space between in-person and online shopping but for what a traditional mall to me should be, I had to give 4 stars. Firstly, I appreciated that this mall is located walking distance from a big store-front shopping center, including a hotel and stores like Target and a bus stop. A circus was on tour in the parking lot the same weekend I arrived here, which I would assume would've brought more business to the mall. It seems to be a good spot for pop-up events like that. And secondly, service dogs are welcomed for those that need them. Overall I had a great experience with the stores that this mall does have, including the biggest highlight being at Victoria Secret's where the staff greeted me, gave me a post-weight loss bra fitting and great service when checking out with my new items! Vacancies are plenty-full in this mall unfortunately and specifically I want to mention Barbra's Bookstore - a small owned bookstore in the mall that I 1000000% wanted to support, mostly because they fullllllly advertised their banned book section and had tote bags for sale around the store branded with those same banned books *see pictures* , BUT - no one acknowledged me in the store & I don't appreciate that. Decent mall, decent stores, great food court (Burning Mouth being the best place) - with lounging, sitting area. There's also a family bathroom in this mall, located by the food court that is HUGE - and I'm sure helpful to mothers nursing. A family, small-oriented mall indeed!
