I love coming here because you can find a lot of good deals. Many items are the same as you can find on Amazon except that it'll be 40-50% cheaper. The downside is the store can be very narrow when it comes to the aisles, only one shopping cart can get through. On Fri-Sun, the line for the checkouts is too long. I would suggest coming Mon-Thurs to avoid this headache. Employees are very nice. read more

I came here because I received a gift certificate from my sister. She said I would find lots of cute stuff at Home Good. I was very impressed with all of the covid prevention measures the store has implemented. I especially appreciated the freshly disinfected shopping cart I was offered when I entered the store. If only people would obey the one way directions in each aisle it would be great. I was disappointed in their inventory. I wanted to purchase some microfiber Dish towels. Home goods concentrates in, well, home goods; from linens to kitchen essentials, furniture to seasonal items.  And that's what allows each store to have more in stock of everything they have to offer. So, if Home Goods and Marshall's fit your taste, at this location, they may suit your needs. PS: everyone knows Marshall's has luggage at discount prices; but at this location, customers can find a complete set. One of the biggest HomeGoods stores I have been to. They have a large selection of items for the home including linens, cooking pots and utensils, rugs, paintings. Something for everyone. Merchandise turns over quickly, so see something you like, you better grab it. Prices are good, look for the clearance items, that's where you'll find your best deals. This store can get messy at times and they really need to work on organizing the store better. They never seem to have enough employees, but check out seems to be fast and easy. read more

Great selection of cute home accessories, area rugs, wall mirrors, Christmas decorations and much more. Cute accent furniture pieces, but not the same quality as something that you would buy from a furniture store, but more . Fun stuff, always a treasure hunt! I have been a Home Goods shopper for years. I love it! Each store is a little different in size and merchandise and management. There are a huge variety of great items. I also  love their large selection of cooking spices, international cooking & baking oils. They seem to have a wider range being a much larger store. This store is always busy!! And they keep their stock up really well. Every time I walk in I see so many new and fascinating things that I love. Great selection of products in every department. I've seen clearance items be hit or miss, depending on the condition the item is in. But overall their seasonal selection is superb, the food choices and kitchen items are great, and that's mostly what I go there for for now! read more

I love coming here! I always find something to bring home. Actually more than one thing lol. They have clothes for everybody and you will find the cutest mugs and blankets and everything else. I recently moved to a larger apartment and I'm always looking to fill empty spaces with unique furniture. My friend suggested HomeGoods. They have everything you can think of when it comes to furniture and home necessities. They have several isles dedicated to kitchen essentials. I was able to buy brand new Kitchenaid utensils and several other name brand pots and pans for a fraction of the retail price. There are several other isles dedicated for home decor, rugs, bedding, bathroom, and even artwork. They also deliver. So if you find a huge couch that you like, don't worry, they can deliver it straight to your home (for a price). They also put things on hold for you for about 24 hours. I saw several sticky notes on furniture items that said "on hold, see attendant". The concept of the store is first come first serve. If you see something you like, chances are, you will not find it again if you decide to "think about it". That's what makes it so unique. I also tried to go online to check what they have in store, but they clearly state their shopping experience can't be found online. The store itself is extremely messy. I'm not sure if this was because it was a Saturday, but there were so many things on the floor, including pillows and blankets. That made me not want to buy these things. I don't know how many people have stepped on them. I wish they were more attentive to cleaning up the isles than just working the register. Either way, I'll definitely be coming back and visiting other locations; you never know what you can find. read more

Messy, an embarrassingly bad shoe selection, and don't even bother with the clothing here unless you want some Baby Phat belly shirts circa the 90s... BUT they have the best selection of crazy home crap and large scale figurines of weird animals that I've seen in a long time. And the real shining gem here? The TIGHTS! The best thing about this place is it's unequaled selection of tights. Solid, patterned, neon, pinstriped, animal print, floral, designer, nude, etc and all at bargain prices. This is the largest Marshalls/HomeGoods I've ever been to. It's a combined store which is also a new one for me. But I always find useful items because there is so much inventory in virtually all departments. It's not near me, but always worth the trip. read more

It's a Homegoods AND a Marshall's! I've admitted before that I am not a Maxxinista. And when it comes to the home décor, I tend to find tons of stuff I love but have absolutely no use or place for. I did find some super fluffy, multi-colored throw pillows that would look fabulous on my sofa, but at $20 a pop, I reminded myself that I do not *need* new sofa pillows. And, if I did need them, I would most definitely need at least two, because...symmetry. Where is that pesky beagle of mine to rip sh*t up when I need him? Kidding. Most of the clothes were BLAH. After sifting through several racks, I only had two tops to try on. I took home a tan and white striped, lightweight sweater from Cable & Gage for only $20. Okay, I didn't even pay for it, it was a generous gesture on my mother-in-law's part, but I would have happily shelled out the $20 for this item. I didn't think that the store was a mess at all, but I've seen some horrific clothing stores. The store itself felt like a maze though. Since Marshall's and Homegoods are connected, it is HUGE, and it took us a minute to walk around in a circle and then say, "OH...THERRREEE'S THE FITTING ROOM!" Great way to kill some time and treasure hunt. read more

I usually do not have the patience necessary to become a regular shopper at most Marshall's locations. The disarray and disorder are particularly mind numbing to this here organizational freak. This is one of the locations that do not send me into a mess related panic. Not that it's super organized, but at least I can sort through the clothes rather easily, and they are separated out by size. It is maybe one step up from the organizational qualities of a Salvation Army outlet. Yes, they have some great deals. I walked out of the place with three pair of name-brand dress slacks for under $60. I was not to impressed though, with the selection of tops they had. Everything was extremely dated in fashion. I have yet to peruse the selections offered in the HomeGoods section of the store, because that looked like a complete disaster area the day I visited. When I got to the checkout stand, a bottle of cologne I was purchasing did not have a price sticker on it. Well, it was the only bottle on the display, so they had to do a price check via their computer system. Obviously the computer is just as disorganized as the store, because the price check took over 15 minutes to complete. The staff was very apologetic about the situation, so I couldn't be too upset. read more

I dig Homegoods. They have the cutest items for your crib and at low prices. At any given time you can walk in there and find something you had no idea you were even looking for. Sometimes you do have to put in the effort and search for things, but believe me, they are there. Lately I've been finding a lot of great art pieces. It's my weekly treat to go and check them out. Of course I'm pickier about buying them but I have bough quite a few that I'm still trying to figure out where to hang. If you're looking for cute decorative accessories, even furniture, check them out. As for Marshalls, I've never really explored so, no comment on that. read more

I wish there were half stars on Yelp because this one is at 3.5. The Homegoods half gets a 4 because they have an abundance of homey type goods. The Marshalls half is sad and dreary and gets a 3. Homegoods: They have awesome, throne-like leather chairs for $99.00. Granted, I have no room for them, nor do I need them, but I wanted them. I really did. They were classy, and cool, and called out to me. But I resisted. Even though I can still here them faintly. Sigh. I bought the king of potato-peelers here for $3.99. It's so cool it's lime green and ocean blue and is a DOUBLE peeler, it's peels on both sides. Do you understand the time saver this little baby will be? Plus, I'm left-handed and morons in this world continue to forget that there are right AND left-handed people out there... and my fiance has a potato peeler that refuses to work for me. Because it's old school and right-handed. So, I hit lotto jackpot with my $4 purchase. They have a huge section of cookbooks, utensils, even pet supplies! I didn't wander much further, but the bedding area was huge, and this looks like a great decorating spot to add fun trinkets to your house. Marshalls: BLAH. It was lame-o. I was majorly disappointed. The shoe section is weird and really lackluster. I felt like I was at Payless. The way the store is set up is so flipping confusing, it wraps around in sections. I wasn't even motivated to dig, it was so backwards. The purse selection is decent, but I didn't venture much further. I think the Homegoods and TJ Maxx off of Lemont in the Downers Grove area is wayyyy freakin' better. It's better organized and makes more sense. read more

OMG! This is a true-blue shop 'til you drop place! I found so many great finds here! Too many to list. Their prices were so great! Next time I will go I will plan on having more time to shop! This was by far the cleanest, most organized Homegoods / Marshalls that I have ever come by! It was very refreshing- seeing as I usually get so irritated trying to get through the cluttered filled aisles with the merchandise thrown all over in the wrong sections. I was very impressed how this new Homegoods had everything put together! Hopefully it will continue to stay in great shape and not just be nice because it's fairly new! read more

I'm actually really impressed by this Home Goods and Marshalls combo. I hadn't been here in a while but my mom needed to grab something quick so I browsed around. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a large selection of designer work clothes and an abundance to choose from. I actually had a hard time telling myself to put things back because I wasn't expecting to drop a lot of cheddar that day. The store was cleaner than I remember it being a few years ago. They've rearranged a bit, so they actually have a prom dress section in the Marshalls. As far as the Home goods, they're selection was really good as well! Wowowowow, I need a Marshalls near my house in Southern California! There is a plethora of winter coats here, but what's better than that?..... A plethora of purses! I was eyeing a Steve Madden crossbody purse for the longest time and while it was more expensive at the store I was browsing at in southern California, it was $2 cheaper here, score! Add onto the lower tax rate and I'm floored (haha, ok, not floored, but every penny counts I guess!). They have a nice selection of purses here - Michael Kors, DB, Guess, Tommy, Juicy Couture, etc. They also have North Face and Columbia winter jackets (well it is fricken Chicago...). Sometimes I take Marshalls to be a lower end outlet, but if they have nice brands like these, I don't need to find a Nordstrom Rack! read more

I am basing this review mostly off of their HomeGoods section. I have to agree with the other reviews, this store, as with most Marshall's stores is not the best place to buy clothing, shoes or outerwear. Their purse section is a hit-or-miss depending on when you go. I, however, love their selection of home accessories. The prices of their paintings and framed works is by far the best. They also have a great lamp selection. I recently purchased an 8-piece comforter set that is of great quality and is lovely to look at. Accessories for the home from vases, pillows, miscellaneous frames, etc. are usually in abundance at an affordable price. I have a Marshall's closer to my home, however, this one is the best I've visited by far. read more

Excellent location and has been buzzy and busy since it's opening earlier this week (today is Saturday 08/25/07). One half of the store is Homegoods which features solely home decor, accessories, and other acroutements... while the other half is pure Marshalls and has some fabulous fall attire! Parking is abundant but being in the dreaded "Lombrook" corridor...you're hard pressed to find a spot, but very much worth your time. read more

Homegoods and Marshalls are two of my favorite stores. I am all about finding good deals on things that I am on the hunt for. As much as I hate to say it, this location is messy and just isn't maintained like the other locations that I have been to in the area. To me, a store like this has to be organized and put together as you are already looking at a variety of things, many of which they only have one or two of. Great location as it's part of Yorktown, but otherwise it's not one of their best stores. read more

This place is fairly large considering it's actually inside the mall. It's the typical discount store fairly messy 90% of the time. Sometimes I wonder if those retail prices are actually what stores were selling that merchandise prior to being sold @ Marshalls. I thought the selection was good, but the prices even seem to be going up here too. The one thing I hate most is the line situation. The long snake that is lined with impulse buys. My favorite part about shopping at any discount stores is that you always find some weird colored items. read more

Good selection of merchandise but there's two common issues: first at any time of day the checkout line is so long it's winding through the store and second PLEASE update your register system! I really like this Homegoods. It is a bit smaller than some other locations...but it also has a clothing side. You can pretty much stock up on everything here. Picture frame, lamps, towels, sheets, shampoo, shoes, kids clothes, adult clothes, women's active wear, accessories. You gotta love one stop shopping! read more

I was so impressed with the Homegoods section! I found a gorgeous 3' x 3' painting that matched my bedroom color scheme perfectly, and it happened to be on double clearance for $40. That same day, I picked out a large black duck feather pillow with white embroidery , and again, it fits my bedroom perfectly! $15 - you can't beat that. DEFINITELY check out this Marshalls Homegoods and the Tj Maxx Homegoods in Bloomingdale (I reviewed that, too) if you're looking to redecorate or add some accents to your place! Nothing is cheap about those two stores, save for the prices. read more

This is a very neat & clean HomeGoods. Minimal dust for this kind of store. Nice displays. The staff is friendly & helpful. I've purchased many high-end kitchen utensils here. I've also collected several pieces of Johnson Bros. blue & white china in various patterns. Keep your eyes open for high-end cookware too. As with other stores of this type, selection varies from day to day, but the fun is in the hunt. read more

My review is actually for the Marshalls side. Had to return an item. Had been to another Marshalls and the manager was a real pip in Naperville on Rt 59. Can't recommend at all. Went to this Lombard location and the guy that waited on me was fantastic! very polite. Very knowledgeable. This is a 2 in 1 store other side Home Goods. The Home Goods side is very nice. Marshall side was very crowded. Plenty to choose from. Highly recommend. read more

If you are looking for nice things for your home well this is the place to go. Inexpensive and one of the most organized and clean Marshalls/Homegoods I have been to. The people were so nice and helpful. Only drawback is the parking. Go when they first open to get a good park. read more
