I love the rockstar super skinny but this season's style seems to be cut smaller than last season and its a tad upsetting.

It was my first time coming to this location. I usually go to the HomeGoods/Marshall's in Lombard…read more I like this location, it's less congested than the one in the mall. The one attached to the mall feels like a madhouse with the narrow aisles and big shopping carts. This one you have two different size shopping carts and it's more spacious. Parking lot is ample. The products are placed neatly on the shelves vs the other location. I do have to take off a star for customer service. We stood in line for a few minutes and most of the employees were just standing around talking. Only two were actually working. One stopped talking to check us out, by that time the line got longer. It's easier if they just clear the line instead of letting it build up.

I asked the manager for a different size in one pair of pants she went on a rant about how she…read morecan't check the whole store. First off, anyone with basic common sense knows you only need to scan and the system will tell you if there's another size in the store. She was post-menopausal, and you could just tell. She was highly irritated with my question of whether or not there was another size in ONE garment in a retail store. How obscene it is for me to ask such an unheard-of question. I even told an employee about this terrible experience at the store, and she told me they've been having issues with customer service lately, that employees are becoming rude towards customers. If employees are complaining about their own team, things have already gotten out of control..

I came in with an order for 13 suits, I had all of the sizes written down along with each groomsman/Dad's name. Normally you would think they would value your business and go to great lengths to make this an easy process. Unfortunately they were very poorly equipped to handle large orders and didn't seem to go the extra mile to make this a painless experience on me. I had several major issues with them from losing a suit, giving groomsmen their wrong shirts, to not even calling the groomsmen when their suits were delivered to their local store. But one thing made me extremely angry. When we bought the suits both my wife and I were lead to believe that the tailoring was included in the price of the suits. BOTH of us were under this impression after speaking with the store manager and paying. When it came time to get the suits tailored, they charged everyone for the tailoring. I was very upset by this as they claimed they "point blank" told us that it was extra for tailoring. If they "point blank" told us, don't you think between my wife and I that one of us would have had the correct information? They then gave us some run around that had very little legitimate merit. I'm not going to get into the details of the other things they messed up but as a groom who had a ton going on with all that is involved with planning a wedding, the last thing I needed was for the suits to be a huge headache. You would think an organization like this would be well equipped to handle weddings and make it as seamless as possible on customer, but this is definitely not the case.

She put the jacket on and I loved the look she then had me put on the pants and gave me shoes to help with the fitting. She recommended what to shorten, lengthen etc. Then she asked if I needed any shirts and ties. I said yes and asked her to recommended something nice. She put together two shirts and a tie (a purple shirt I probably never would have picked out but loved). I had a great time and was out the door in 40min, spent $450 total for suit, 2 shirts, tie, and alterations! The whole experience was great to just walk in and have someone outfit you and care if you look and feel great! If your not a big suit person or have questions or apprehension about buying a suit go see Annie!

Jewel way worse on that though too (or to download their app). Normally, I'd give 3 stars, but I'm currently avoiding due to the fact they sold me moldy buns (Dave's). I bought them on November 10th, but the expiration date was 10/31 (which I didn't look at until after I noticed the green bread I was holding and almost bit into). 6 month ban for that. Sickening. Oh, and one more thing, not even any surprise, or even an apology, when I returned them. Just business as usual.

THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN…read more Sometimes it's nice to venture to the far end of where you live, even if it's just a beer run. Of the two Meijer stores in Bolingbrook, this is the eastern location near I-355 & Boughton Rd. It's off of Janes Ave in the same general vicinity as IHOP, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Discount Tire. The store is laid out in a mirror image of the one I'm used to, so it took me a while to find what I needed. A 12pk of Half Acre Daisy Cutter was marked down to $18 (normally $25) and a 4pk of Stella Artois tallboys was $7, also a very good deal. I only bought booze on this trip, so I can't comment on the quality or availability of produce. The shopping floor seemed clean and well-organized. I made use of the US Bank ATM inside and couldn't help but notice it was much smaller than the behemoth at the Meijer on Weber Rd, AKA Bolingbrook West. I stood there slightly hunched over, punching in my PIN on a keypad that seemed tiny by comparison. Were Derek Zoolander present, he would've said "what is this, a cash machine for ants??" During self-checkout, the guy who came over to scan my ID for the beer waved his badge and was greeted with the classic 21st century nuisance--dude's password had expired! He politely retreated to his master terminal, coming back several minutes later to finish ringing me up. A minor inconvenience, plus I got a decent chuckle out of it. Glad I'm not the only one that happens to. * TL;DR * It's not the one I usually hit up, but Bolingbrook's other Meijer is A-OK. The store was tidy and I found what I needed. Self-checkout took longer than I would've liked, though not a huge issue. I don't imagine I'll come here much in the future as the one on Weber is merely a stone's throw from my house. This strikes me as a decent Meijer servicing the people of eastern Bolingbrook, Woodridge, and Darien.
