They called this one to have them hold it for me, and the staff here went the extra mile. I'm mad at myself because I already forgot her name, but I'm pretty sure it was Catherine or Caroline (I asked, because she looked like someone I went to school with). Anyway, she knew who I was as soon as I walked in the store. She had taken both jumpsuits they had in the pattern and size I wanted and held them for me so that I could choose which one I wanted, since patterned material varies slightly on each piece. I never would have thought about that myself but she was like "Yeah just look them over and decide which one you like how the pattern lays best, and we'll ring it up!" I was just really impressed with her caring enough to think about that. She was really nice and fun to talk to! As I was only in very briefly to get that held item, she made the entire experience really fantastic. The only reason I'm putting 4 stars instead of 5 is the size of the store. It is a bit cramped because of the size and amount of merchandise. Probably wouldn't be an issue for most people, but my mom often shops with me and uses a walker, and I don't think she could easily navigate the space.

While I was shopping, the site kept nagging me about hurry up it's going fast. Very annoying. I was going to buy two pairs, but it said that one of the pairs I bought had already sold out, so I added a third pair. The three pairs were supposed to put me over the total for free shipping. When I checked out with PayPal, it gave a message that Old Navy doesn't ship to my address. This doesn't make sense, as I live in a big city where my neighbors and I get packages all the time. I tried ApplePay, and it opened and closed itself immediately. I decided there was something very wrong here and closed the whole thing. When I checked my email, the order had gone through. I had a confirmation from both Old Navy and PayPal. They did not give me free shipping even though I was over $50, they charged for shipping. Old Navy, please put less effort into nagging and rushing your customers and more effort into making sure your checkout process works and your promises re free shipping are kept.

I love it when I get the 30% off mailers, I always feel like I've won something! Yes, I've won the opportunity to go and spend more money! Then I get Kohl's cash so of course I have to go back to "spend" that cash. And then I get more cash back! The cycle continues! It's always fun to come home and let my hubby know how much money I've saved him with all the sales pricing, % off mailers, and Kohl's cash. The quantity of items is definitely scaled back but still enough to have fun browsing. The check out line is funneled into one line and then customers are called to the next available cashier. I like that!

"Our system doesn't work that way", he said. He could combine all 6 items for 1 card, so why not 2 on each card? Anyway, during our "discussion" a line developed, so I had him give me six cards and a pen so I could write the amount and each kid's name on it. As far as the store goes, it's your basic mall establishment with the stacks and the hangers and the loud music. The special for the day was hoodies and you had to find an employee with the key to unlock the dressing room. There were a few families shopping together here - mom, dad and the kids and that made the aisles a bit crowded. I don't see what the big deal is about the clothes here besides the name of course. I just won't go back because of the bad customer service. Math, it's an important skill people. Learn how to use it.

I knew this is one of the newer H&M in Chicagoland. I could tell because the condition of the store was slightly more pristine in comparison to other locations in the city or in the suburbs. Although shopping at a mall is less pleasurable for me, I had to admit that H&M does have fashionable and cute stuff! A few Nordic-patterned sweaters and wraps were on sale, it was a bit tempting yet I had a decent self-control with buying clothes, jewelry, and accessories. Yes, it came a long way for me since the "rehab" I gave to myself a year ago as I was cleaning up and reorganizing my closet.
