This is such a fun store. So many things to choose from, candy, phone cards, candy, makeup and much more! Staff was nice.

Unicorn. This place is a friggin' unicorn. It's like something that you've always wished existed but thought was too ridiculous to be true. Everything is under $5 and when I say 'everything', I mean EVERYTHING. There's so much rand-O shizz here but it's all amazing (yes, all of it) and the quality is shockingly better than decent. ' 'Whoa Deals!' was my quick tip- if that gives you any insight. From the thermal tights, to the nail polish, to the laptop bags, to the sporting gear, to the padded booty underwear (I totally have a pair thx to Dana G's thoughtful self). I came in looking for one thing and left with nothing, but only because I had to go to the bathroom (#2) and it didn't look like they had a public one so I ran over to Kohl's across the strip mall parking lot and came back to Five Below to continue shopping. I ended up getting a TON of sh*t I'd been meaning to get at Target for the past year, but somehow always ended up being too distracted (by the retail pheromones I swear Target pumps through their stores) to remember. Items I can check off my life checklist? -Shower caddy -Cordless optic mouse -Night light -Puzzle -Thermal tights -Sharpies -Mini bins for makeup Magic. This store is magic. Well, this was a great place to spend some time. It does not have any expensive stuff at drastically reduced prices, but for the Easter bunny to put in Easter baskets ~ perfect. A bottle of sparkle nail polish for $3, in the basket. It has toys, games, school supplies, books, beauty supplies, tee shirts, flip flops, and a whole lotta candy goin' on. If I had wanted anything out of the middle top level wheel barrel that greeted me as I walked in the door, I would have had to ask for help, but the rest is readily assessable. Decent cheapie dollar+ store. This is situated right down the way from the Hollywood cinema so people can stop in here and get their drinks and candy and not pay a fortune for it during the show. Everything imaginable! My girlfriend who loves dollar stores was all over this place! It was definitely funny watching her drag behind their little basket on wheels filled with crap! read more

Love the store, but not all the staff were not wearing mask last time I went there. It is weird to enforce mask rule on customers, then a worker walk around the store stuffing the shelves without a mask. Just gauge your own risk tolerance before visiting the store. read more

They have an awesome selection of phone cases- so fun! It's a really fun place to shop- a great place to shop for my nieces. They have a fun selection of T-shirts too. Great prices- everything is definitely under $5! I guess my summary is: "Fun!" read more

Off the top of my head...I can name things I've bought here: Weighlifting Gloves A wine glass that fits an entire bottle of wine Iphone 6 car charger Iphone 6 charging cord Cute knee socks games to donate to Toys for Tots Ninja Gingerbread Cookie Kit for Christmas Random list goes on and on... and yes, everything is $5 and below! And this isn't cheap stuff either... not that stuff you'll find discounted in big lots because there was a flood and everything in the box got wet at some point in time in another store. This is quality stuff! I can certainly kill a lot of time in here and do all kinds of shopping for random things in this place. They always have seasonal items whether it's accessories for St Patrick's Day, Beach items for that upcoming Jimmy Buffett Concert, or you need a KISS ornament for Christmas to add to your Christmas tree, this place has it! Why did it take me so long to come here? I mean, granted it's only been open a week or two, but why didn't I rush in to the store with the masses? It's awesome! For starters, like the name suggests, everything in the store is $5 or under. This is usually indicative of junky, cheap stuff that no one really wants but buys because it's inexpensive. I did not find this to be the story at Five Below. I could have easily spent an hour in the tiny store looking at everything that they had! The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is that the store is structured for a younger/teenager-ish crowd. With the decor, it's obvious. But that doesn't mean they don't have rockin' stuff! They have back to school supplies, hair accessories, electronics, movies, candy/snacks, toys, home goods, dorm goods, etc. Some of the coolest things I saw were As Seen on TV items, backpacks ($5!), DVDs that didn't all suck, laptop cases, tumblers/water bottles/coffee mugs, back to school supplies galore, binders, arts and craft supplies, BOOKS, educational books...I could go on and on and on. Seriously, this place has just a little bit of everything and somehow it manages to not have typical junky dollar store products. I ended up walking out with some binder tabs ($1/set), some page protecters ($1/20 protectors), a laptop case ($5 and super cute), and an 18oz tumbler ($5 and also, super cute). My grand total was $15 and some change after tax and I'm so pleased with what I came home with. This will definitely be my new go-to store for little things! read more

I lost my beloved Fitbit(the 3rd one ugh!) I usually locate things so instead of buying a new one I remembered that 5 below sells their own brand of walking tracker...I hope that it's sufficient until I locate my Fitbit,if not- it was only $5 so no biggie. This store is cool and well organized,like every 5 below you can find deals,but some things are not deals at all and can be found cheaper at the dollar tree(school supplies). I did see some nice looking backpacks that would be good for grade school kids. This location has a nice movie selection. Older movies,but still good movies like Transformers,Harry Potter,Batman,ect...I even saw some older DS and XBox games. Also saw some interesting board games and copy cats of popular games like Trouble. Candy section is cool;all of your childhood favorites for 10 cents each.I like that I can buy individual pieces. read more

I'm a little shocked by all the good reviews of this place... I guess maybe because I usually hate cheap knick-knacks. I headed in here looking for a pool noodle (which they had right outside on the sidewalk - it enticed me inside). Everything is under $5 yes, but I don't want any of this crap in my house. Maybe if you're looking for some goodie bag stuffers for kids' birthday parties. I would say 1 star but they get a star for good customer service and another star for a well organized and clean store. Other than that, I probably won't be back. read more

Guess where I did all my Christmas shopping? Oh yeah, this place has it all, from purses, to candy, to energy drinks, to exercise equipment, to fun graphic tees, to games, to puppies, to narwhals and unicorns. it has everything I never knew I always needed. I can't walk out of there without about a thousand things I never intended to get on my trip. The deals are always great. My favorite was the pet snuggies. Looked really great on my friend's cat! Although the cat wasn't excited, I thought she looked like a wizard! But they have electronic accessories, and I even got a really nice laptop sleeve for my mac for only, you guessed it, $5!!! That sleeve has lasted me using it pretty much everyday without it showing any wear after about 6 months. It's really great. I got really good chapstick for $1, where at Walmart I saw they were selling for $2.49. I know, doesn't seem like a big difference for a one-time purchase. But if you're like most women and buy chapstick with nearly every outing, then this 80% savings is pretty spectacular. For crazy savings on the little things, this is a great place to look first. Grant it, I usually go to the one in Orland Park, there's one in Tinley Park, and Countryside..... Ok, they're everywhere! So if you're looking for a kid's toy for a birthday party and don't want to spend $50 on a game or toy they'll use once then throw to the side for the shiny balloon instead, check here first. They even have boyfriends on sale occasionally. Then again, with those you get what you pay for, so .... I brought back a fan that did not work correctly. I got a tiny one just for work. They found a a replacement for me and put batteries in it to make sure it worked. They went above and beyond! Love this place for little gift ideas or to make gift baskets. Some stuff is name brand and some isn't. Their clothes aren't the greatest quality so that's why it only gets 4 starts but their staff is great. Always friendly and always checking to see if you need help. If you want simple phone cases, for decorating and not for protection, this is the place to go. read more

I like this little citchy place. Little something for everyone. Some seasonal deals are really good! A good place for kids... & shopping for them as well. If you have college kids...
