There's two stoplights, one on the north side, and one on the south side (by Portillos); I'm always unlucky and hit one, always. I'm usually in and out quickly. I did notice they're focusing more on their self checkout as there are less and less cashiers. This store has more self checkouts than other Targets I've been to, though. I stopped in looking for some coloring and painting supplies after finding the toy store in Danada had closed. Not only did I find exactly what i was looking for, but also about $200 of items that jumnped into my cart. True, some of the toy shelves were empty ~ I don't know what the most popular toys are this year, but, I found an abundance of other appropriate toys including Paw Patrol and Bluey. Any staff memeber I asked for help was friendly and helpful. The woman at checkout was a total delight and I enjoyed my little chat with her. This is one of my favorite Target location. The staff greet me as I enter the store; always helpful when needed and friendly as well. This store always have the items I am wishing to purchase and the customer service is fast and efficient. Very good selection of just about everything, but if you can't find what you are looking for, just ask and they try their best to help locate it. Like, an arts & crafts section had canvases, paints, craft kits, etc. but it was more like a mini Michaels, slightly higher priced. Big Halloween selection of candy, decorations, and costumes. The fresh fruit and vegetables were nice, but priced higher than Jewel. Deli and some prepared foods, too. I was able to get what I needed, and thanks to self check-out, get out quickly. The line at the sole open register was very long. A staff member did call for back up. Plenty of free parking. Covid safety protocols are in place and they were followed by staff and customers. The self check out area was well staffed and they were cleaning between each customer. Nice job on that!! Very clean store. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Store manager needs to be fired immediately! No carts, my wife and I were shopping in the store for 40 minutes I returned up front to see if there were carts three times but never a single cart available. We had to lug our stuff around, would have bought more...a lot more but simply couldn't carry it all in our hands. Once we got up front to pay they only had two lanes open the lines were 12 people deep each. There were also only a couple of the self check lanes working and those lines were worse. We needed up waiting in line close to 15 minutes just to check out. When leaving I discovered where all the carts were, I counted 28 carts filled with merchandise blocking aisles and checkout lanes, I even took photos of several. The rest of the carts were out in the parking lot overflowing the cart corrals and littering the parking lot. My wife and I spend a lot of money at Target, we will be re-evaluating our chopping decisions based on poor service. read more

Did my regular shopping routine as usual at target in Naperville Rt 59 I ended up paying at self checkout I had quite a few items in my cart And was scrambling to get them all scanned because I wanted to do separate transactions when I felt a target employee name "Debb" right behind me watching every move and making faces while starting at my cart and staring at me I then approached her and asked her why she was looking at me ? And made me feel very uncomfortable so if she can stop. made me feel like I was shoplifting . I did file a complain with the manager he did apologize But I hope actions were taken to prevent this from happening to someone else read more

We were in line, waiting to pay. I notice the great service cashier was providing for the person who was in front of us (white lady). Then when it was our turn, things change drastically. She was very rude and her mood change so bad, like she was bothered. She even drop my stuff. I was in shock and ask for a manager, she didn't want to call her. Then I went to main office to ask for one. Is very disappointed that a person is almost the same skin color like me gave other people who isn't white with so bad service and so racist! "A general manager" call us back later, I didn't notice the call because I was driving, when I return the call nobody response. I even call corp to make a complain, but they never did anything about it. They promise to call us back to speak about the situation, NOBODY did anything! I'm so disappointed about target. huge target! used to be a super target. sad about the remodel as it was one of the targets to still have its early 2010s interior with red walls and white bullseye neon lights. it now has an ulta inside since the remodel. the starbucks location changed from being on the side with the produce before the remodel, now it is on the entrance side where the clothes are. i love that this target is right by the fox valley mall so i usually stop by here first with friends before the mall. good clean location, definitely wish they kept its old vibe though. read more

I feel like I live in the Target pick up spots lately! They make grocery shopping (or any kind of shopping) SO convenient !!! The service is always as quick as they can be - they hustle every time I'm there. It's also awesome that if the store is out of certain items, they give you the opportunity to have them ship it to you free of charge! We had asked an employee for help and he left us waiting for a little over 20 mins. We then decided to ask a different employee. I've been frequenting this Target a lot recently. Not only is it conveniently located near Buy Buy Baby and Party City which I've also been spending a lot of time at, but they have a Starbucks inside which helps lure me. I also just recently set up a Target baby registry, so I find myself popping in to check out the products in person. I have to say, this location showcases customer service at it's finest! I've always had great help here whether I'm browsing, paying, at the customer service desk, or ordering something from Starbucks. This is a Super Target so they have grocery items as well. I personally think some of that stuff is over-priced and I'd rather shop at my local grocery store, but it's a nice option if I just need to pick up a couple things. It's to be noted that Target sells 95% of their maternity wear online which is pretty unfortunate (but seems to be the case with most stores). They have a small rack in the store of some basic items, but that's about it. The good news, is that you if you purchase maternity wear online you can return it in stores which makes things easier. I recently did this with a maternity bathing suit that didn't work out. Another pro-tip on this topic is that if you set up a Target baby registry online or on their app, be sure to stop by the customer service desk next time you're in store. They give you a nice little bag full of freebies and coupons! This Target location is always clean and organized and I find it simple to navigate. I'm a sucker for their $1 bins of goodies found at the entrance. They always have awesome little nic-nacs for holidays, office supplies, and home decor. I'll continue to be one of those people that walks into Target for one thing and comes out a couple hours later with ALL THE THINGS. read more

This is the worst Target location I have ever been to. When I first walked in, there were absolutely no carts at one of the two entrances. So, this just shows how busy they are. In addition to that, they have 20 checkout lanes and 8 express lanes. Of all those lanes, only 3 checkout lanes and 4 express lanes were open... this was on a Saturday afternoon. I spent more time waiting to pay than I did actually shopping. The Target app stated that items were in stock yet they were not on the shelves. I had to get two workers to help me find one item that was listed "in stock" on the app. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this location unless I absolutely have to. read more

This one time, I came in here buying flowers. I usually go through self-checkout. But I saw a lady who looked nice. Went through her line, learned her name is Cornelia. As a regular in this Target location, I kept going in her line. She has a huge heart. I was buying flowers for my mom. She only had a cold, but every time I get sick, she takes the day off of work to stay with me and laugh with me, watch TV with me, all that and more. Cornelia is one of the first people ever who taught me the importance of getting to know the little people in your life. That in itself is the top way to making your hometown full of Jeep Wrangler drivers and lululemon wearers a true community. Also, I like the organization of the store and the app and all that, too. But building a community is the most important thing to any company. Thank you, Cornelia. You gave me an extremely important lesson. I left a bag of groceries and a few other items at the self check out on Wednesday and couldn't get back to the store until Friday. I figured that someone found it and tuned it in and they would put it in the freezer in back for a couple of days until someone contacted them. I went to customer service on Friday with the receipt and explained what happened. The lady at customer service couldn't be nicer and said to just pick up fresh groceries and come back to customer service and she would bag it. I thought this was so nice because it wasn't the store's fault, it was mine. I just really regret that in talking to her I forgot to ask her name or look at her name tag. I love Target. Who doesn't? But why the F does this one smell like an F-ing baby diaper??? Too close to Babies R Us? Too near to Walmart and Meijer? I don't know but something needs to be done. Maybe move the cat litter and deodorizer closer to the entrance. PS- I'm reading Gail L's review on the sidebar right now and she's sooo right. As soon as you walk in, you have to # two-pee. Maybe it's a little Pavlov's Dog magic... you walk in, smell the diaper smell and automatically need to evacuate some contents... okay, not so much Pavlov's theory but there's defo some sort of conditioning happening here. The store is kind of messy but they do have a larger clearance section than most Targets... but again, it's a freaking mess. Even the store set up is weird. The women's clothing section is set up like a doughnut with the dressing room in the middle and the overstock of jammed clothing racks in a circle around it. So annoying. Again, Targets rock but this one just needs a good chlorine scrub down. read more

I went to this mall to relax and enjoy the weekdays. I'll eat first in the food court because I haven't eaten breakfast yet. Few people are eating in the food court so a lot of tables are vacants. I ordered in one of the stall a chicken with rice and fries. I also ordered a mango shake and bottled water. The chicken tasted so yummy. The chicken skin was crunchy and the chicken meat inside was juicy. You can also taste the flavor inside of meat. It also has a gravy and I request the staff that I want it spicy. About the rice, it's fried rice with toppings of some corn and egg. I can taste the butter on it and it's delicious. I like the sweetness and sourness of a  mango shake. After I ate I went to the clothing store and bought some clothes. The clothes were pretty with an anime design. I also bought one for my brother. I recommend this place. read more

Had a Target gift card to use and needed to purchase some linen bags to hold some ornaments to give as Christmas gifts in a few weeks. What I saw next horrified me (see the accompanying pics with this review). This happened this past Monday on the evening of 11/27/17 at the Naperville Target store. When I reached to grab a 4-count bag of the gold print linen favor bags off the shelf, I was at a loss for words at the shock and horror when I saw that there was A BUG INSIDE the plastic bag that encased the linen bags! You've heard of seeing a bug in some of the food offerings at sketchy hole-in-the-wall restaurants that don't always practice the best hygiene, but have you heard of seeing A BUG inside the plastic bag of some gold print linen favor bags at TARGET? You can see that this took place in Aisle E-5 of the store (see accompanying photo). To help avoid future customers from having the same level of shock and horror that I had, I put the bag that contained the dead bug behind all the other favor bags (which is where any Target manager or employee can walk over to confirm what I saw). I looked for an employee to talk to in order to bring this matter to the store's attention; none could be found in close proximity. I simply walked out of the Target after losing the stomach to buy anything else from the store. My biggest health concern is that if a bug got into the linen favor bags, what about the produce or the food items? I just hope that this was an isolated bug infestation and not something worse. Target customer, be aware and wary of shopping here moving forward. I believe that Target should take some action to assure customers like myself, who I hope the company values highly, that any kind of insect incident like this one will not happen again. read more

If I could give 0 stars for my experience here, I would. I tried to buy some dvds and the lady at the self scan came over, looked through my bag of purchases without asking, and said I was not allowed to buy more than five even though the ten dvds I was buying were two separate types (HD and regular). I tried to ask to see the policy for why I couldn't buy two separate kinds and she immediately tried to call security (multiple times) and threatened to kick me out instead of offering me the policy. She went through my things without asking and tried to kick me out of the store just for asking a question. She also did not initially believe when I said I had purchased five of the dvds. As a person of color, I was incredibly offended and publicly humiliated by this experience and will not return to this store again. read more

This Target has everything you could ever imagine. With an expanded grocery section, huge clothing selection, and so much more, you really can't go wrong. I always come here if I need anything. Always find what I want. This place is amazing and the employees are super nice. Extremely helpful, hardworking, and task oriented. To me, this Target is so much better than city Targets in so many ways. First off, it's a Super Target! That means it has a built-in supermarket, an expanded clothing selection (namely more Zac Posen -- yesss!) and more choices all-around. That's important to us woman, as any man knows when the car heads to Target, we're dropping an easy Benjie. Every time, you can count on it! I found my favorite 'boyfriend v-necks' (a deep plunge style totally ripped off of American Apparel... smart) here in colors I hadn't seen at the city Targets -- orange and blue in addition to the gray and white I already own. Yep, when I like something, I REALLY like it. Also, found a hippie chic batik-printed 'wifebeater-style' tank for $8. Super slim fit = effortlessly hot! Oh, and I can't forget my flirty little find, a black floral dress for a cool $15. Hey, I'm a good shopper. But -- I hear the Super Target in neighboring Warrenville is newer, flashier, bigger and better, so yeah, they're next on my hit list. read more

WHY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO IMMEDIATELY POOP WHEN ENTERING THIS TARGET? *cough* Sorry. But its annoying. I braved Rt. 59 to get to Target. Sure, it took 15 minutes to go around the corner to get here, but I didn't have to poop when I LEFT my apartment. Why do I always have to the second I walk in? On the plus side, the bathrooms are quite nice. And the Target employees do a lot of gossiping in there, which is entertaining. Much like Meijers, its impossible to do a quick run into this Target. Well, any Target, but with the Superness, its even worse than typical. For example, I needed the following: 1. An NFC Championship Bears jersey for Franz, my sister's stuffed monkey. 2. Fresh Chives 3. 5 and a half cups of Chicken Stock. See, Aimee and Franz were visiting from Colorado, and they wanted my famous Potato Soup. I thought I had all the ingredients, but when I got home, I realized I had no chives and no chicken stock. So, I braved the cold and went back out. Anyways, I ended up walking out with: 1. 8 cups of chicken stock. 2. A pack of 6 headbands (Aimee says they are back in style! Rock!) 3. 6 pairs of trouser socks, now that I have to wear "trousers" to my new job. 4. Two pairs of pantyhose, because I'm clumsy. 5. A pair of suede green gloves, 75% off, because my last pair ended up soaked with gasoline. 6. A notepad with a cat on it. I mean, its a notepad, with a cat on it! 7. A jar of dried thyme, because we couldn't find mine the night before. 8. A jar of dried chives because Target didn't have any fresh ones. 9. A bunch of scallions, because Target didn't have any fresh chives. I'm pretty sure I got even more, but you get the idea. It's crazy, and I didn't even look at clothes or pajamas. That's the problem with super target - you walk in thinking you are going to grocery shop, and walk out with Season 2 of Bridezillas because it was 9 bucks. The other problem is that their fresh produce supply can be really spotty - you can't necessarily trust they'll have something beyond the really basic. Target stores are almost all the same. Clean and nice folks. I was in the area and had to pick-up a few basic things. The layout here is different not use to it I took me kinda longer to find where certain items were located. They have a huge produce area on the left side of the store, electronics side on the far right side, and in the middle clothing, jewelry, mid left makeup, cards, office supplies. I got what I needed and noticed the clothing clearance section is pretty vast then other Target stores so I had to check it up. read more

I go here out of the lesser of 2 evils. Here or driving further down RT 59 to get to Wal Mart. I don't know why I just don't go to the one in Warrenville any way. If that tells you anything. I've only met 2 workers there that I would consider have true customer service. The rest are there to fill a spot. Managers included, they just have poor attitudes. Super Targets are the best. This is the one that I frequent most often. It used to be a regular Target, but it was remodeled a few years back into a Supertarget. It's clean, the staff is nice, and they almost always have everything that I want in stock. Their prices for the items I buy are cheaper than other grocery stores. I purchase a lot of vegetarian items, especially Amy's Kitchen frozen foods. They also have an extensive array of organic fresh produce available at decent prices. My obsession when it comes to this store is the muffins in the bakery department. I don't know why I am so enamored with them, but I cannot leave the store without buying at least one. They are available singly for $1.29, or as a 4-pack for $3.99. It's a toss-up between the chocolate chip or the cranberry nut as to which is better. They also make a killer danish since it has a croissant-dough base, and the fresh bread in the bakery department is also quite good. One other cool thing that I have found at this location is Beecher's Flagship Cheese from Seattle. It was in the cheese case next to the deli. I am a huge fan of Beecher's and cannot believe my luck finding the cheese in Illinois! It was expensive, but worth it! I hope I see it there again. read more
