Two things I know the wife would veto..... (actually I would too!!)

Home Goods..... How my wife enjoys shopping here. Maybe it's the thrill of the hunt as merchandise seems to change daily. However perhaps it's because of COVID, she seems to be doing more shopping than buying. Aside from lack of new products, the aisles seem in disarray making the search for items one cannot live without more of a chore. I guess I really shouldn't complain as her shopping excursions have become less costly.

    Glassware is stunning!

Love me a Good Home Goods! This place has the nicest cashiers and good inventory. I love shopping their international foods section, serveware & or course furniture & rugs! They tend to have awesome pricing for kitchen items too so check that out!

My wife planned to come here so we came here yesterday. She wants to buy new items for our house. One product that she wanted was a new chair. She wants to put it outside so we can rest there or eat outside. We found a table and chairs with 5 chairs and a round table. It was made of iron and it is colored pf black. It was expensive but the quality was really good. The staff assisted us until we bought everything we needed. Aside from that we also bought fur carpet. We will put it on our daughter's floor so she can play in the r with her toys. We also bought a basket so she can put her toys in there. Overall we bought everything we needed. And we are so happy with the quality.

You have to love home goods! Home goods is the home side to TJ Maxx and Marshalls. You can find some great furniture there for less money. We've gotten so many items there over the years, and just now getting around to doing a review. I will post some pictures of my great finds.

Great store. I always find a treasure I just can't live without. ;) My husband and I enter the store and he heads for the kitchen stuff and I head to the furniture and accessories. As a former self employed designer I always found great things for my clients and now for me. I loved the selection this past Christmas season of just the perfect finishing touches in decor and gifts. We stop by every couple of weeks. Just a nice stroll through the store is so relaxing. You should go but save a treasure for me !

My boyfriend and I came in search of a couch, and they had so many options that were decently priced too. They had a double discount of 20% off then another 20%, which was generous! They had couches of all sizes, colors, and materials. We really wanted a couch with a chaise, but they only had couches with it on the left side, which I would say is the only downside of this outlet. Also, all of the employees are SO nice. The lady that helped us was amazing. I really wish I got her name! She was talking to us about the couch we originally wanted, but she showed us different options, gave us moving websites to get the couch delivered, and helped us figure out to my boyfriend's Crate & Barrel card on his phone because he didn't have it in person. They have a huge selection of appliances in the store and in the warehouse. A great place. It makes me excited to move out! I know where I'll be coming to get a new couch.

For some reason c&b think that charging store prices at an outlet is an ok thing to do. I've I wanted store prices, I'd just go to my local or order it from the privacy of my home. I also don't understand why they feel they can charge so much for such severely damaged furniture. I'm not sure the best carpenters could make this stuff look good, but you can hand over maybe msrp-10%. What a deal. Hopefully you can sense the sarcasm. It was the worst of scratch and dent I have ever seen. Even today, I'm trying to understand the business model that makes it all make sense. I'm struggling. If it were me, and I love c&b, pass on it. I drove back to my rental property where this would be used and assembled the table and chairs (as much as I could). When I finished with the table, I noted a large scratch and secondary, small scratch (too pics). Then, the two chairs had 3 left legs and 1 right leg (!). I reported these issues this a.m. via chat, which took well over 20 minutes. I gave up and called. A gentleman at their customer service center was able to send a replacement chair via Fed-Ex (5-8 days). That said, he indicated that I had to text pictures (not online or via call) to report the scratches. So, I was moving on to my 3rd method of contact for the day. I texted pics to the number provided, and ended up texting with the same person from the online chat. I was told I'd need to return the table at the warehouse (40 minutes away) and pick up a new table (borrowing a truck again). Their QC is apparently awful. This is what you get for "cheap" furniture. I'm currently texting with a rep who is telling me there's really nothing they can do and that I needed to open all the boxes while on the ramp (there was a car behind me impatiently waiting). Also, they ask for signature the moment the boxes are placed in your car-- there is no opportunity given for inspection upon pickup. More important, we all know that we simply expect orders to be right in the first place. I've ordered so much furniture in my life and really, I can't remember ever having an issue. The pick-up at the warehouse also wasn't smooth-- the address provided in communication send you to the truck entrance-- not a big deal, but you have to back-track 3/4 mile. Then, I was sent to the loading dock to pick up and I waited almost 10 minutes before anyone opened the door. I called (no other way to contact) and was told the dock staff was occupied (I wasn't told that 10 minutes prior when I checked in at their offices on the other side of the facility). Even the shopping experience wasn't great. I had a sales staffer that had approached upon entry and when I later approached her (after looking around the store for a few minutes), I was swarmed by 3 other sales employees. Does this tend to happen at other stores? Absolutely. That said, it usually isn't to this extent. It is hard to explain, but it reeked of an unprofessional environment. Update: I just ended this issue after over 90 minutes devoted to the this issue. They "agreed" to send the table to me... but, what an ordeal. Texting is not a reasonable method for handling anymore more than the most simplistic issue. Chats/text-based "customer service" is for when you really don't care about your customers. My advice? Go elsewhere

Dean answered my questions about current decorating trends and assisted me in finding just what I needed to help me blend my aesthetic with potential resale value in a couple of years. The price was also better than I expected. My only two suggestions for improvement would be, 1) add signage to show there was floor tile in the center of the store. I saw the sign for "decorative floor tile" but did not realize there was other, less expensive, floor tile elsewhere in a separate area, and 2) have people on the floor ask customers if they need help. I had to go back a third time to finally get the boxes when I got there, they had no idea where the packages were and It took an hour for them to find them. They only use one installer for the floor. Do NOT buy anything here…read more I'll start with appliances..Do not buy appliances here. Why? A few reasons: (1) Sales associates who are clueless. Went in to ask about dishwashers, and specifically reliability. The older gentleman went into full mansplaining mode--but told me nothing. Exact quote: "You see here [he points to the star ratings]: This one has five stars, this one only four. You also want to look at how many review there are." Dude...I can check online reviews. I expect a sales associate to have more of a clue. So, I tried asking another way: "Which brand seems to get the most complaints?" His reply: "I have no idea, but if you look at the star ratings...." and he proceded to repeat what he just said about star ratings. SMH. Anyone who knows anything, knows that the star ratings are mostly fake--either posted by company PR folks or, competitors. (2) Three years ago I made the mistake of buying a washer/dryer from this place. Installation guys must take "clueless" lessons from the sales guy. Long story short: They installed the dryer, which immediately gave error codes. They said it was because I needed to have my vents cleaned. Showed him a receipt that showed my dryer vents had been professionally cleaned less than three weeks prior. He doubled down: clean your dryer vents. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I decided to have a DIFFERENT vent cleaning company come out. The guy checked the vents, re-cleaned and, as he pulled the tube that connects the dryer vent to the outside, he pulled out a piece of paper and said, "This is what's causing the error codes: the installation instructions for the new dryer. I took pictures, had the vent buy sign a statement that the vents were perfectly clean, except for the instruction manual the installers left behind. They could have burned my house down!!!!! At first Home Depot denied it, but I kept on them and, finally, management relented and agreed their installers made a mistake, so they reimbursed me for the installation fee and the second dryer vent cleaning. Do not buy....anything in the store. Went in today (when I asked about dishwashers) and picked up a few items for around-the-house repairs. FIVE staff members were STANDING AROUND WATCHING EACH OTHER at the self-checkouts. If five idiots can stand around and just watch, why not have them--I don't know--do actual WORK? They should be paying CUSTOMERS for doing THEIR job of checking out. SO...what did I do about the dishwasher? What I should have done in the first place: went to a reputable locally-owned appliance store where the sales associate actually KNEW a lot about EACH brand of machine--repair rates, what typically goes wrong first with each brand, longevity of each brand, which ones get sent in most for repairs. THEY GOT MY BUSINESS...and will always get it. I won't set foot into a Home Depot ever again.
