One of my favorite things about The Marmalade Tree is the wonderful purses they sell. These bags are not only fashionable and trendy, they are SO AFFORDABLE. During my last visit to the store, I brought in a necklace that I bought there over the Christmas holidays that I had never worn because it had become a tangled mess. The sales associate not only let me exchange it with no receipt, she took my word on the original cost. It is so hard to find a neighborhood store that still believes in the honor system....REFRESHING! That same sales associate let me know that some of the gorgeous jewelry at The Marmalade Tree was made locally and even by their own sales clerks! I went in looking for a gift for my sister and ended up looking at so much 'on trend' but poor quality merchandise that I decided to go elsewhere for her gift. My sister loves being 'on trend' so I was excited to see the pieces, but man was I let down when I felt the materials and looked and the hemlines that were off. I didn't give this store a 1 because they did have some pretty cute shoes, although the pricing was too high, they were very cute. I also give them credit for having 2 really nice sales people in the store. If you are a trendy girl, I'd suggest going someplace else if you aren't looking for disposable outfits.
