Heard about this place on a local home show and decided to drive out to Aurora to check it out. Happened to be their Holiday Showcase so every vendor had seasonal items. Warehouse 55 is a collection of vintage items and repurposed furnishings mixed with many one of a kind treasures. Here you will find old and new..something for every aesthetic . Over 2 stories of various vendors..prices vary depending on the product . A nice feature they offer is if you are undecided and get home,you can shop many of the items online by vendor or product. Will have to go again after the Holidays for more treasure hunting. read more

We parked in the free lot behind the building and entered through the back door. Every inch inside was like a Christmas throwback with treasures everywhere you looked. There was always a staff member nearby ready to answer questions. You won't find any accidental bargains here because they know the value of their carefully curated items. But you may find just the right thing to complete a set or discover a treasure from the past that will complete the look you want. I can't wait to see their next season's displays. read more

Warehouse 55 is a hike, but once you get there, you'll be happy. This is set up like your average "booth rental" consignment place, but the place is huge (2 levels) and the booths are more like full rooms! It's beautifully curated - no digging for treasure here. This place is on the pricier side and some vendors have things that are clearly bought from overseas. But for the most part, Warehouse 55 sells gems! A lot of the vendors have their own IG pages where I've seen a few "must have" things - you still have to purchase through Warehouse 55, but it's another set of eyes on the prize;) I bought my incredible set of printing press dressers/shelves and use it as my jewelry box. I still have 7 drawers to fill! The ladies needing the counter have always been chatty and lovely! They're there to gab about your pieces and vendors- you can tell they love working here:) There's not much else in Aurora so make a trip to see the consignment pieces and grab lunch! read more

An acquaintance told me about this place so my favorite antiqueing buddy and I had to check it out. Two floors full of vintage stuff? Yes please! Here it was mostly actual vintage stuff, not too much of the "we put chipped paint on it and said it's farmhouse chic" thing as at other places. And all manner of styles, at quite reasonable prices. Both of us found some gifts, which was awesome! The layout is a bit rambly and there is some confusion of "were we already in this room?" Need arrows on the floors or something, haha. Staff we dealt with was all very friendly. I can't wait to visit Warehouse 55 again and see what's old/new! read more

I had no idea what a treat I was in for. I did not know how big this store was. I only had gone through one section and had already picked up a few things. I continued to spend a ton of time in this store with my husband and friends and we picked up even more things. I love that everything is curated and there's multiple vendors so you can get a few different styles of things. The candy that they sell by the cash register is also amazing. When I first stumbled on this shop, I thought I hit the home decor jackpot. It seemed like a hidden gem for authentic vintage finds. But it turns out its just a mixed bag of imitation items with the occasional gem. If you buy something leather from a vintage shop, you want it to have the light well-loved vintage look. Who actually ever liked the look of intentionally weathered furniture? Unfortunately, I made the mistake of purchasing a rug with exactly the same effect, designed to look like a lightly worn Iraqi-style rug The moment it hit my floor, I knew I had been misled and immediately called the warehouse. I knew contesting their return policy wouldn't be easy, and for good reason considering they warehouse several independent vendors. But this purchase was made through the owner's section. I wouldn't be as bothered had they paid me the respect of returning my phone calls as they stated they would. Even to my face I was promised a phone call that has not happened. I can't say I will never return, as there has been an over the top find here and there (always over priced) but be aware that there's lots of "inspired by" pieces here. read more

I really enjoy poking around this well designed, highly eclectic mix of vintage, antique, new and gently used items.

Such a great place with wonderful booths and a diverse selection of items and styles. Have been to this spot 4 times and drop hundreds of $$$ each time..... but the owner is SO RUDE. Not sure why he has such an attitude and superiority complex, but he certainly does. If some of my favorite dealers were not vendors--- I would not waste my time to go there. Would have given it five stars if someone else owned the place. Rude dude -- step away from the check out counter or get an attitude adjustment. read more

I love this store so much. You can tell the owner works hard to get a good variety of vendors who put a lot of care into merchandising their booths. This is a lovely vintage store, with lots of things to look at and think about. I was there for the first time on Saturday and found two lamps for a new office I am furnishing. One was bent at the top and the owner tried to straighten it. Seemingly it was fine, until I got it to my office and it would not hold a shade because the inner workings were so loose. That being said, I took it back and found out "all sales are final," and was accused of breaking the lamp myself. I was never told "all sales are final," when I was shopping. I now have taken it to Mr. Fix-It and I am confident it will be fixed. HOWEVER: I am 75 years old and only once in my entire life have I given a less than 5 star rating. My issue is with the way the owner/manager (not sure which) treated his two women employees on Saturday, which was very condescending. I had had a great experience, especially with Tracy, who loves finding things for customers and was extremely engaging and pleasant. This guy was an absolute grouch. When the two employees helping me called the vendor and to find out the price of the lamp, apparently she told them to give me a 10% discount. I did not inquire about that and apparently "HE" did not like that, and today told me, "We don't give discounts." (No reason to take that out on the female employees.) I can deal with not being able to return the lamp. What was hard for me and left a very bad taste was the rigidity and hostility I felt coming from this man who showed no empathy, falsely accused me, and then told me about the no return policy, which he said was written on the receipt and on a post card. I had to carefully read to the very bottom of the receipt for this information, today after I left the store. I believe that how we treat one another matters, and that we co-regulate one another in terms of our experience with life and with being champions of encouragement to one another. He could have treated me very differently and his employees very differently and from my perspective, needs to learn something about customer service. I am sure that running a store as full as Warehouse 55 is a huge task, AND that does not make treating customers coldly, falsely accusing them, or rigidly o.k. read more

This place was great and has very well curated booths so your not sifting through as much junk as a lot of other antique stores. The place was very busy when I was there on a Saturday and the staff was clearly stretched but still very helpful. I'd recommend going on a weekday to avoid the crowds and make social distancing easier. All staff wore masks both times I was there. read more

Definitely will not shop here again. One blonde employee didn't even attempt to wear a mask or socially distance, the other, as I was trying to purchase something, said I hate wearing these and pulled it off her face right in front of me. There are a couple of dealers there I really like and have purchased from before, but until they follow the health department and the law I will no longer shop here. read more

I found Warehouse 55 on Instagram and instantly called my son who lives in the area; we planned a shopping trip right away. We were both very pleased with the friendly staff and the variety of goods available. I also want to mention that when I have inquired online through instagram about a product, each vendor I contacted got back to me in a very timely manner and answered any questions I asked regarding price, color, dimensions, etc. Another shopping trip is planned for May when I head north again! read more
