Have to go down two sets of steps to get to the door, then back up stairs to the main level... overall I think we climbed up and down six sets of stairs, and we didn't even go to the highest level of the building! And this is using a cane: I think if you had a wheelchair you'd be out of luck, unless there is a hidden elevator somewhere. Their stock really hasn't changed much in a long time, so I guess between that and the fact that I can't get around the shop easily this just isn't the place for me.

I was intrigued, so I went inside to check out out. It is listed as a furniture and household goods store, but it is much more than that. Yes, they have some furniture, but, they also have a lot of eclectic kitschy items as well as some clothing. The place is super packed but we were able to navigate well enough with strollers. But being packed to the gills just means it's that much more likely you'll find just the thing you're looking for. I ended up with a Swiftie t-shirt for my kiddo because my friend handed it to her and then she would not part with it. The employees were friendly and talkative, and one of them I think was the owner. I liked the store a lot and as I said, it's a great place for souvenirs. I don't live close to Geneva but that's the only reason I wouldn't shop here. If I had known about the place before I went home a few weeks ago, I probably would have visited because I was looking for a place to get some souvenirs for my friends kids, and may keep them in mind for the next visit home for exactly that reason.
