The associates working here at this location doesn't bother you or even speak. You just shop in peace until you ask for assistance. Decent selections of women clothing and accessories. Some items can be a little pricey but affordable. The clearance selections have some great deals. Sometimes the lines does get super long and there is quite a wait for you to purchase your items.

I had planned on keeping the top but then I seen they had a size that fits me better available online so I ordered that one. The tags are still on my top that I wanted to return. The robotic store manager barked at me when I entered the shop asking if I had a return. I proceeded to browse then found nothing else so I went to the counter to process my return. The same robot was waiting on me and barked at me that I couldn't return without an order number. I asked her if she could look it up with my Maurice's card and she rolled her eyes and said "NOOOO". She was making me so uncomfortable because she kept barking over and over "order number....I just need an order number!!" I was trying to find it in my email and she started whispering to one of the other clerks about me. I walked out without a word and know from now on I'll stick to the shop in DeKalb where I've never been treated rudely at all.

However, on February 14th I went in to buy a pair of pants and a shirt and saw a lady with blonde hair loudly criticizing one of her co-workers. Apparently, the blonde haired employee did not like the way her co-worker handled a situation. The way the lady was speaking , she seemed to be a store manager or other form of management personnel. I understand employees can make mistakes but whenever there is an opportunity for coaching like what I witnessed, leadership should ALWAYS take an employee to the back AWAY from the customers. Not only is this common courtesy but the proper way to provide feedback. To witness the employee being ridiculed in front of everyone made me so utterly upset I had to leave the store right away. I couldn't imagine how that worker must be feeling inside and I am disappointed with the upper management at Maurice's. They need to do better by treating their employees with the respect they deserve. To be honest, I regret not speaking up that day and standing up for the employee.

Similar to the Glenview location it carries that same old school ambience which is really quite nice. They also sometimes have a live piano player as does Glenview, which is really fantastic and create a great feeling to add to that welcome Homie sense that they build. Similar to the Glenview location I will say again really great selection. They carry great brands however because I feel like it is slightly larger they carry even more product and therefore more options. Love coming here as usual parking is pretty easy inconvenient for Yorktown and so glad that old-school type department stores still exist somewhere here in the Illinois area.

But I also enjoy a milky banana or sunshine yellow. There was plenty. I only shopped at a few stores today as hubby was working so it was easy for me to be in and out. He takes a little more time with his selections than I do. There is a really nice coffee shop that opened up in the place of Starbucks. Right next door is a macaroon shop. You can always buy mangoes, ice cream and churros. Grabbed a few items for upcoming birthday surprises and headed on my way.
