I didn't find anything to purchase back then, but I'm very glad I checked in again recently to get a pair of the best v-neck (without those silly shelf bras) cotton stretch camis. Very awesome and a total staple for me. They followed up my purchase with some fab deals on their website so I'm stocking up on these great wardrobe staples. They have their own sizing format where size 0 is 12-14 and 1 is 16-18 and so on... so it takes a little bit of research, perhaps on their website ahead of time, to figure stuff out...though the ladies who work there are happy to give a helping hand too. Not only that but I found out that they have a free shopper card club with discounts and all kinds of good stuff. Very cool shop for young'ins as well as others looking for wardrobe staples (you never know unless you look, right?). I'm very happy.

I've been coming here for several decades since they opened and I've always really enjoyed this place. It is unfortunate that the Nordstrom's had taken away the live piano player which I thought brought some really great ambience and differentiated them in the market. However, this Nordstrom is definitely well stocked all year-round and carries a heck of a lot more product than the Woodfield or the Skokie location. Also, what I love about Nordstrom even after all these years is that they are very well staffed. No matter where you go in the store there's always someone willing and ready to help. I think it also helps because the Nordstrom sales staff is in fact incentivized. Over the years, the store has also changed, especially with the offerings from the café coffee shop restaurant, etc. However, when they first opened, I was in my teens if not early 20s and that particular section of the store always had some of the best selection. As well as some of the best brands. I still love coming here to this day and it's also a better sales tax then Woodfield, the city or Skokie

It was one of the best shirts I ever owned, Wish I had bought five more. Today I wouldn't wear Any shirt I saw in the Whole Place. My Grandfather bought his suits here the would take me for a Guinness in the Pub. I emulate his style. After I went to Von Maur and found everything I needed in forty-five minutes. I don't know if the buyers have lost their minds? I want to look like a man and no I will not spend a Thousand Bucks on a pair of dress shoes. Get I together- this is Nordstroms. The letter I wanted was sold out everywhere, but the girls at this store helped track down where I could find a few and were super sweet about explaining where I could go and who to talk to. They also let me purchase the mug letting the store know that I came in wanting the special price. I really appreciated them vouching on my behalf for this particular circumstance and would/have definitely come back in at this store for anything else! Tip: they also put quite a bit on sale after the holidays. Great time to purchase a dress for $40 if you wanted to ;)

I like the same things about this one that I liked at OB: their quirky sideline items make nice gifts, and I like the unusual kitchenware (this location doesn't seem to have all the cookbooks and coffee table books that OB does/did?) Style here has always been sort of raggedy bohemian. Gotta say, though, the clothes are too rich for my blood. Even on the clearance rack were dresses that looked like they came out of the rag bag...for $90. I'll stick with the gifty stuff.

Was waiting in line for what felt like forever, meanwhile the staff doesn't seem to care at all. Everyone working here moves at snails pace. It was a busy Friday afternoon & they had 3 ppl on the registers just wasting everyone's time. This lady came in trying to return 10-15 items that she bought online. Instead of having staff help the 8 people waiting in line to check out they would rather have 2 out of the 3 people working behind registers help the lady with her returns, all 2-3 people were literally helping the one lady with the returns. Also I wrote this review a day after so I'm not just mad in the moment.

She always remembers my name, asks about kids and remembers the styles I like and my sizes. I am so impressed by her friendly demeanor, trendiness and knowledge of what will look good on my body type. She has not only educated me on trends and what works best for my body type with jeans etc but she makes me feel good about myself! I walk out feeling confident and good in my skin! I have gotten so many compliments on all of my new clothes. I have told all my friends to ask for Dana. I was also impressed by how she multi tasked when super busy and was helping myself, another co worker and two other customers all at once.
