Was waiting in line for what felt like forever, meanwhile the staff doesn't seem to care at all. Everyone working here moves at snails pace. It was a busy Friday afternoon & they had 3 ppl on the registers just wasting everyone's time. This lady came in trying to return 10-15 items that she bought online. Instead of having staff help the 8 people waiting in line to check out they would rather have 2 out of the 3 people working behind registers help the lady with her returns, all 2-3 people were literally helping the one lady with the returns. Also I wrote this review a day after so I'm not just mad in the moment.

I will say they seem a bit obsessed with deterring shoplifting. There is a whole process to get in and out of the dressing room. There are security tags on everything. But. I got three tops for $36 so I feel like that's okay. It's designer and department store stuff at lower prices -- but it doesn't feel like the sort of clothes that nobody wanted to wear in the first place. Besides clothes there is a smattering of home goods, decor, accessories, shoes, bags etc. It's not a massive selection, it's true -- but every time I've gone to TJ Maxx, which has a ton of stuff, I've felt like either it's unappealing or the wrong size (or, once, I tried on an awesome dress that I then realized had a totally busted zipper); on the other hand, there were lots of things my style at Ross. In short: I love finding great clothes at good prices, and as long as the selection and prices appeal to me here, you can believe I'll be back. Edit: so one of my tops became completely misshapen after one wash. In cold water. The good news is that my return was accepted, no problem (with a receipt). It's just crazy on both sides of the coin during holiday season and whereas she may have been tired or overworked we were all waiting in long lines feeling the exact same way.
