Anyhow, fast forward I brought it in 3 days later to explain the issue. Worker said she had to contact owner as she was unsure of what to do- totally fine. Owner reached out and said dresses are final. My problem is obviously it was defective and any dress I would expect would last longer than 2 hours. She also reached back out and said to bring it to seamstress. Which is not an option given all material has been compromised. In addition, she reached out to vendor and they said nothing they can do because it's wear and tear. So she said I should reach out to them. I would give a 0 star if possible Absolutely unbelievable. She suggested I did something in the dress- I was sitting at a dinner? And then commented that I'm making a big deal out of a $300 purchase... Im absolutely appalled by her customer service and not working with me and having an option even the possibility of another dress as obvious as it is that this particular dress is defective, a refund, or even a credit- NOTHING. I would understand had I just wore dress and tried to return but I would not expect any apparel to not work after 2 hours this particular dress had a zip that broke. I would not recommend her store to anyone based on putting product out there that doesn't withhold at least an event and how she is talking and working with her customers.

It is also so overcrowded with items when you look at the clothes, you have to push really hard to make a space to look through them.. The items on the shelf are four and five deep and not the same thing so you might see something at the back of the shelf that you want to take a closer look at and you have to move three or four other items to get at it, which of course kicks up a lot of dust which aggravates my allergies. That store needs a major cleaning and a major reorganization.. They need to narrow down the items that they have put on the shelf and on the clothes rack.. when I go there I feel like I'm hunting through things in a warehouse type setting not a nice store. Also, as is the case with many stores these days, you can never find a person working on the floor who can answer questions for you.. they need to hire more people to be helpful, to keep the store neat , clean and organized.

Kelsey's combines high powered expertise and reach with small business personal touch. Items I drop off are meticulously tracked, and receipts/pricing is sent for my approval usually within minutes of me leaving. I've sold many designer bags, shoes and pieces of clothing with them and have never had issues with their pricing or payouts. I'm very knowledgeable of the market myself and we always see eye to eye on pricing. You can collect your balance at the beginning of each month and they'll have a check ready and waiting for you. Despite absolutely having the knowledge and ability to resell my pieces myself, I choose to work with them because it's such a great experience from beginning to end. Their payouts are at a higher percentage than what I have seen elsewhere, but even if they weren't - I'd still choose to consign with them. Not to mention, they're super fun and just great women to know. I can't recommend them enough!

When we arrived, the only person in the store at that moment was busy with three women at the counter. She saw us walk in, but didn't acknowledge us, not even a simple "I'll be with you in a moment" or "Please give me a few minutes." We overlooked this because she was the only one working, and we understood she was attending to customers. However, what followed was humiliating. About five minutes later, the women she was helping left, and instead of addressing us, she chose to ignore us, arrange things on the counter, and then head to the back of the store without saying a single word. No "Excuse me" or "I'll be right with you." It felt like she thought that if she ignored us, we would just leave. Since we stayed because we wanted to see dresses, another five minutes passed before my sister had to go find her in the back. When she finally came out, instead of apologizing, she gave us attitude, and the very first thing she asked before even offering any help was, "What's your budget? So I can see if I have something," in an arrogant and dismissive tone. To this day, I don't understand why she was bothered by our presence or why she treated us that way. The moral of the story: give your business to those who treat you well. We ended up buying the dress at Peaches. I had to drive to the city, but the service we received there was outstanding--and, ironically, we were helped by young ladies, not by a woman over 40 who should know better. If I could give this place negative five stars, I would. My intention was to support a local business, but in the end, driving farther to the city was absolutely worth it for the professionalism and respect we received elsewhere.
