I came here this morning and there were few people inside. Luckily since I hate crowded and too loud backgrounds. I went to the bath towel section. I choose to buy white since it's too clean for me. The cotton was thick and not dry. It was comfortable to use. I purchased 3 pieces of it. After that I went to the mens section and bought a jacket. There are a lot of different varieties of jackets. I chose a thick jacket that is good for casual outfits. It was too expensive since the quality was really good. When I went to the counter there was a long line. I like coming here to this Nordstrom rack because it is a little bit more organize compared to the one in oak brook. The sections are very nice for the price you will be saving from the regular stores. The lines move pretty quickly at the registers. The best time to come is early in the morning. I buy nice clothes for my granddaughter at a very low cost. I also love to look at the purses my weakness but I can co trip myself and not but a single one lol. I need to be in the right mood to shop Nordstrom Rack, but if I am feeling it, this is definitely the location I go to. Not only is this store well organized, but the staff here is like a well-oiled machine. There seem to be systems in place all across the board. The dressing room is neat and well attended, and although the lines at the register get long on the weekends they move fast and the cashiers are conscious about flagging the next person up to check out. Nordies is usually a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I find cute home goods, clothes, shoes, jewelry, the works... other times I feel like I browse for forever and still don't find anything worth purchasing. I will say that if you're looking for brand names and higher end pieces at a discounted price, then Nordstrom Rack is where it's at. I usually have luck with shoes here. I've gotten a few pairs of Nikes at a price I'd actually like to pay which is always a good feeling. Most recently, I discovered the sale rack of baby clothes! I bought my son so many cute onesies for such a good price. It was awesome. I even got him some cute baby Under Armor and Nike outfits. Adorable! My only bug-a-boo is the layout of the women's clothing section. Other than the sale racks that are clearly marked, it's hard to find what I'm looking for. I love Nordstrom Rack in general, but they don't have enough staff to support weekend business, so be prepared to wait forever to check out--yes, even in the middle of a pandemic. However, they do take their online orders back at the rack, unquestioning, and their online stuff rocks my world, and next to SaksoffFifth, Nordstrom Outlet is great shopping, second place. I always end up at these Nordy Racks during the holiday season. I have one conveniently close to my work as well. They're all similar as far as set up & prices, but I feel not all of them have the same items & obviously they're all different workers. We decided to make this trip to get some north face jackets for the upcoming season before it snows. My fiance got a bomber jacket kind & prior to checking out, we noticed the line wrapped all the way down near the shoes! I knew I had to look for a worker with their lime green shirts & they can ring us up using their device conveniently. However, when I approached one to ask her about it, it didn't seem like she really wanted to assist us with it. She was pretty much like, "Okay, I guess I'll ring you up." Very nonchalant & unwilling to help. Therefore my 4 star rating. Our son picked out a jacket, but it didn't have his size, so we took the risk to checkout the other one in Oakbrook & they had plenty in his size, so we were glad for that! I went shopping and my first stop was here at Nordstrom Rack. There was so much good stuff and great deals. I got to choose a lot of clothes and accessories, even shoes. That particular day was probably my best because I found so many beautiful clothes and sales too, that I could not help myself but to buy anything that I was interested in. The staff were also friendly and very helpful to me. I also like the convenient location of this Nordstrom Rack, which is near the other stores I also like to visit after I go to the store. It did not take long to search for and buy the stuff inside because it was so clean and everything was well-organized, making it easy for me to find the beautiful and wonderful stuff. The things I bought are not just reasonable, but they are also good quality, which I am really glad about. After I went to this store, I went to the other stores around to continue my shopping, and all I can say is, it was a really good day! read more

At first, this Nordstrom was not so hot. Did I still spend more than my paycheck on my first visit? Yes. Since it's opening last September it has gotten much better though. L.A.M.B. shoes, Betsey Johnson jewelry, Rock and Republic & True Religion jeans and all at discount prices. The review by Che C. is so spot on! The parking, though there is a lot, is frustrating because Jags in SUVs take up the fuel efficient spots in front. And they're defo are low on the inventory end. This location probably has the worst selection for clothing, there's hardly anything worthwhile and their sizes are limited too but one thing that I do like is their shoe section though. It's more organized that the other Nordstrom Rack locations because the shoes are all on the shelves WITH THEIR MATCHING PAIR, in their rightful box. Though I do like watching people at other NR's try to find the left shoe match when only the right one is displayed... hehehe, gotta go to the counter folks. What can I say, I love a good deal. This is my go to store to get my toddler some shoes. You can't beat, the great quality and great prices. I got her a pair of Puma gym shoes that were on clearance for 14.00 and a dressier pair of stride rites for 29.97. I also scored a cute black sweater and a hot pair of chinese laundry wedges. Sometimes they have a great selection and other times not so much. Its hit or miss. My only complaint today was the long line with only 2 check out people. read more

I like shopping at Nordstrom Rack because I like the brands that they carry and I like finding good deals. Now things that are "on sale" here can still be quite expensive. The key is to look in he extra mega discount clearance sections. Now these sections can be kind of disorganized, but it doesn't bother me too much. I will say that I like the selection at the Schaumburg location better, and this is why my rating is a bit lower. They have great shoes and clothes deal, and they carry Fossil brand purses and wallets, which is one of my favs. They also have makeup and skincare products, which are usually a good price. I think I will save the drive out to Schaumburg next time for a better selection, though. read more

I was in need of a new, cold weather, walk the dog, cute coat. I was not looking to drop a ton of cash and my SIL and I decided to hit up a couple of stores on our way to the Costco. We were a bit short on time and did not have time for me to explore every nook and cranny of the store. As of this trip, it's definitely on my list for the next time I journey out to the area. We headed straight to the winter coats. They had a fairly large selection of trendy coats that would put up a fair amount of resistance against the wind and cold in my area of the city. They even had coats in the Medium and Large sizes (SCORE) vs. what I typically find which is all Small, X-small and X-Large sizes in stock. I settled on a slim fit Down with reflective heat lining that's roomy enough for a fleece underneath! Whoo hoo! The deal? It was less than 1/2 price. I know as I have been following a very similar one online. I wish we would have had more time to shop! This store makes me greedy, I have a feeling it could be a blast!! **Accessibility thoughts** This store has many movable clothing racks and carries a great deal of merchandise. With this arrangement, it can make it difficult for those with limited mobility to push through the racks of clothes. That being said, the clothing area of this store, on the day we visited, was better arranged for mobility and less problematic than most discount clothing stores and many clothing stores. There was ample aisle space between coat and vest racks for mobility. The long, single line for multiple cash registers method is used here, so if walking or standing with limited energy and /or pain, make sure to calculate this into your shopping time. read more

The other day I bought some Calvin Klein aviator sunglasses for $20 and they would have cost 3x that at another store. These four stars are for the shoes. Don't come here looking for clothes. They've got strange leftover plain long-sleeve tshirts and random wannabe clothes that just do not catch your eye in the least. But the shoes! They carry a decent amount of small sizes, and it's impossible to not find a pair of awesome, well-priced shoes. I rarely own nice, good quality shoes because they are literally not made in my size. It's very rare that I can walk into a store and not walk out with at least a necklace or leggings if the clothes aren't cutting it. Sad to report, I was not really going to go into this location but I was in need of a clutch. No, need is not the right word. I wanted a clutch and had to have one for nights out so I dropped in thinking that they'll have something... Not so much, there was a fabulous Betsey Johnson bag that is shimmery and screams hotness but I'm dead set on that stupid clutch and only saw a few. However there was a great Michael Kors bag that was drastically priced down from $1200 to $440. The store is a little cramped for space, atleast it feels cramped with the layout and if I'm going through racks of merch and want to take my time my little bubble needs some breathing room. Major positives is the huge shoe selection and it could have the potential of being a go to stop for emergency purchases especially with how close it is. My first ever. *sniff* This girl's growing up! The store's layout is similar to Marshall's, with scattered departments and everything set on carousel racks under flourescent lighting. You'll find brands familiar to even the shopping-averse marked down by half or more. I noticed the items don't necessarily shift with the seasons, as my July visit found Christmas-themed sleepwear and tons of prom dresses. But that's kind of a good thing, it's never too soon to pull an Eddard Stark and warn that Winter Is Coming. Even discounted, purses still run you a paycheck (or more). The best value I found? The cosmetics section. Glittery eye pencils and a lip gloss I've been wearing almost as often as my own skin, hoorah! Seeing women shove each other and steal items from each other's unattended baskets is an experience that'll make anyone an armchair psychologist. The things men see from the husband chair must make them want to run screaming for divorce court. Go to people watch, go to score big bargains, but let's be kind: everyone can walk out lookin' like a supermodel. read more

Terrible customer service! I just went to return some clothes and the cashier asked me if I had all the returns on one receipt and I told her yes. She started scanning all the clothes and then 2 items wouldn't come up so she asked me again if they were on one receipt and I told her yes again. She scans them again and they don't come up still... so I take the receipt and match up the sku number on the receipt and the tag on the 2 items. At this point I'm hired because I had to do the work for her. The fact that she asked me 3 times if they were on the same receipt and then I had to do work for her is ridiculous. She also was mumbling and hard to hear with her mask on and she was getting frustrated with me that I couldn't hear her. Do not recommend going back to this location. read more

Discount stores are a catch-22; on one hand, cheap clothes! On the other hand, WHY SO GD DISORGANIZED? Stores like these definitely require patience to find that diamond in the off-brand, slightly-damaged rough. This store gets high marks for: hosiery, trendy cheap jewelry, Neutrogena stuff, and shoes. This store gets low marks for: everything else. Lots of gross stuff that are plain ugly or out of season. Nothing on mannequins so it's hard to figure out how to style that polka dot anorak with pleated skirt. If you typically have a lot of time on your hands, I can see this being a fun treasure-seeking adventure. For everyone else though, just plain exhausting. read more

I will say, this location is the best one I have been to, especially in comparison to other ones in the Chicagoland area like Oakbrook. It is well spread out, and organized very well. The one thing which I love about this location is the clearance. Honestly, if you have an hour or so to dedicate to shopping here, do it, because you will find some hidden treasures in the sale rack! You will still find good deals in the "regular" priced items, but spend time looking through the sale, it is so worth it. I went here today and got the following: - Steve Madden purse $20 - Steve Madden wedges $15 - Sportos Black snowboots $50 - White/gold going out blouse $11 It's so worth the trip! Hence his shocked reaction when I bought a pair of Christian Dior sunglasses here. "You paid HOW MUCH for SUNGLASSES?" he said. I also bought a pair of Steve Madden flats for my wedding - $40. That's about the same price, if not cheaper, for a pair of Maddens at DSW. However, go into the Steve Madden store or Nordstrom department store, and you'll pay at least $20 more. You also need time to browse here, perfect for someone who can shop and spend. Not the best place if you are looking for something specific. It's also a bit disorganized. This store is incredibly busy most weekends, but during the holiday especially so! There are some interesting finds if you have a couple of hours to just meander through the various sections. As you come in there's usually a housewares and beauty section on one side, and jewelry and accessories on the right side past the cashiers. I've found great slippers, yoga apparel, tights, jewelry, down comforters, and personal care product deals here. Sometimes the sizes aren't all there, and sometimes the clothing is from a different season. Prices could be a little lower, especially for older season items and particularly trendy pieces which go out of style quicker. Great selection for mens, especially shoes. There's some great impulse buy items near the cashiers at times, like when I found a great red leather iPad case by Jessica Simpson. read more

I hate this place. Only because almost every time I come here, I drop hundreds of dollars on stuff that I don't even need. Okay let's be honest. I'm in love with NR. I usually come here first when I'm looking for cheap(er) shorts, shirts, shoes, etc. The clothes are still name brand, so expect to still pay normal to slightly higher than normal prices, instead of the exorbitant prices of regular Nordstroms. I love that they carry Michael Kors, BCBG, Coach, etc at affordable prices. There's no better feeling than looking up the retail price of your new Coach sunglasses from NR, and finding out that you got them for $100 cheaper. I wish the selection for certain things was better, like dresses. I haven't found one good dress here. I guess the bajillion tanks, shirts, shoes, accessories, etc that I've gotten have made up for it. read more

This location is ok in terms of cleanliness and orderliness. They don't have that much merchandise but it could be just my opinion. The purses/bags selection is way smaller than the one in Oak brook. Prices are reasonable but styles are somewhat outdated. Sometimes I'd spend half and hour here and walk out with nothing. Ok I know this is the newest Chicagoland Rack location but it was a big disappointment. There is plenty of parking and even preferred parking for fuel efficient cars up front which is nice. The only bad part of that is that there were Range Rovers and other SUVs parked in the spots. There is plenty of space compared to any other Rack store. Maybe because it is new they didn't have much merchandise on the floor. A small accessories and purses selection. Only one rack for evening dresses all sizes. I suggest skipping over this location unless you live in the area and wait a couple more months or another year until they get more merchandise in. read more

I never received an email to confirm my order, to pick up, or the fact my item was cancelled. I then tried calling the store and the associate would ask me my name and keep me on hold for 10 min to then hang up. She did this a total of 3 times, Once I spoke to her she was unfriendly and bothered. I Went in person after to get update on my order and she was truly unpleasant, couldn't bother to help the tiniest bit to even get the sku# to reorder. I Will not order next day pick up again such a hassle for something that should be convenient. Joyce really should not be answering phones or helping front front desk she pretended to be the store manager after I asked to speak to the manager or anyone else. I called customer support and they told me this should have been resolved at the time of pick up. Thank you to the actual store manager who gave me the sku # and reassured me I will get refunded. read more

I don't know how many times I've visited this store and thrown some change down for some really good deals, can't really complain about that. With that said, I had a pretty aggravating night last night as one of the handbags I purchased and paid $200 for, normally retailed for about $400, (sorry Naperville, but $200 bucks is still not chump change to me) completely fell apart after less than 60 days of use (inconveniently and embarassingly to boot as i was in the middle of grocery shopping and the shoulder strap decided to give out as my bag fell to the ground with all of its contents... High end designer bag my a$$) Anyways, I understand that they have a 30 day return policy, but irritated as I was for getting a defective bag, I immediately contacted nordstrom's corporate customer service, and was told apologetically that the manager at my local rack should be able make an exception since they supposedly stand behind the products that they sell, and manufacturer's defect should be different than a regular return. So after being patched through to my local rack manager, I was then told to bring my item to the store for inspection after she makes sure, as she crassly puts it in her most hillrod sounding voice "makes sure it didn't look like it got run over by a dang truck". Classy. I then promptly ran over to my local rack, ask to speak to the manager to explain my situation again, to which the somewhat confused guy at the register walks over to the all of a sudden too busy to be bothered with manager standing right behind him, and somehow a game of telephone gets started (mind you, it was pretty late and the store had a whopping one or two other patrons in the store other than myself). At this point, my checkout guy returns to inform me that he is doing me a huge favor by giving me merchandise credit since it is past their return policy, an altogether different and almost condescending tone than what the apologetic nordstrom's corporate customer service rep had given me. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they were able to give me anything at this point, as frustrated and insulted as i was at the same time, but I am completely turned off by the rack's, not nordstrom's per se, unwilling customer service and ALL hassle return policy. But I guess good customer service comes at a premium, and that's something you won't find at the freaking rack. Hate to say goodbye to the savings, but not sure i ever want to go through that again! I wandered in to this location a couple weeks ago. I had been looking for a perfect pair of pink high tops for my toddler who's favorite game is throw the shoe out of the stroller/window as quickly/quietly as possible. I was surprised to find a pair of VANS magenta high tops for $14. This isn't the first time I found exactly what I wanted here. I found gold leather peep toe platforms by Steve Madden for $40. These I wore with my wedding dress. Gorgeous. My mother also found a beautiful mother of the bride dress here for just under $100. In my Ed Hardy phase(long long long ago) I also scored some EH scarves for $19. This is a fun place to "window shop" but there's deals to be found as well. read more

This is a clean store with a decent selection. Of course I have been to racks where they are much larger in size with a notable difference in brands offered and quality of clothing. This is why I only give this store 3 stars. I expect to see Nordstrom's high end leftovers but instead I see lots of cheap basics that give the illusion of a good deal mixed in with over priced MK and Coach. When you shop here, be mindful of that and make sure it really is a good deal before you buy. read more
