I have to agree with the other reviewer. I have shopped here previously but the only time I could get waited on was when I was the only person in the store. Yesterday there were 2 elderly ladies who were trying on every shoe in the store within one size of what they thought they wore. I finally got to try the shoes I had been walking around with and one box only had one shoe in it. I pointed this out to the salesman and he told me the other one was the one on display. I could not even get my foot into the one on display. Who says they will size you? I walked out empty handed. read more

We went to Mirabelli shoes yesterday because we had a great experience last summer in the shoe store. Going on vacation soon and wanting to have a supportive activewear shoe. The ladies at the store were great and I think it was Judy that helped me she showed me the difference between the two most supportive Athletic wear shoes and I must've tried on 15+ shoes. The interesting thing was I have not had my feet measured for a very long time probably since I was a child, and by having them measured, I found out that 1 foot is a half size larger than the other, which I guess is common, since we're not perfectly symmetrical. It was a hard decision because they had so many great shoes. I ended up getting the pair that I thought was First Choice for me but also getting information for the future if I want to buy more shoes. The store was bright and clean and well Stocked showing off all the shoes. I met a lady who had a brace like my mothers and we shared information so I know this shoe store caters to people that have special needs with their shoes. It's hard when you have an issue with your feet you can't just go in and buy any issue anywhere and expect it to work, once again, an awesome experience and well worth the value of the shoe. She gave me lots of tips in wearing my shoes and just wearing any shoes in general down to earth and professional. Looks like I'll be shopping here from now on when I need a pair of shoes. The downtown part of Glen Ellyn is a really cute shopping area with lots of cute boutique shops, and great restaurants you could make a day of it. Miroballi Shoes is my go-to local store for Birkenstocks and comfortable (yet stylish!) work shoes. They also have Pandora charms - a major plus for quick birthday shopping for my MIL. Purchased my yearly pair of Birkenstocks a couple months ago. They had a great selection and I walked out with a smile on my face and new Birks on my feet! Fast forward to last week when, much to my dismay, the leather around the toe popped out of the sole of the shoe. Being July, I never expected to find a replacement for my summer staples as the Mayari style is popular, but I was thrilled to find that not only could they get me a replacement pair, they would do so under warranty at no charge. What?! That's so awesome! The replacement pair arrived today from their other store. They are the vegan version of the same style I had - which is a little strange - but it works for me! No recognition of me the entire time I was in the store! I had hoped the newer location would have an improvement in service. Nope! I visited on a weekday later in the afternoon. There were about 5 other customers in the store. One was being helped and the rest of us were walking around. There was another salesperson behind the counter texting on their phone with the volume up so I could hear every keystroke. I found several pairs of sandals I wanted to try on but nobody would help me. The inside of the store is nice and they have many high end shoes and sandals here and that's what I was looking at. It really doesn't take much to say hello and tell someone you'll be with them in a minute or go to a private room to text. People visit stores for customer service and when it's not there it's such a disappointment. I really wanted to support a local business but it looks like I'll be doing another online purchase. read more

I am 45, and chemotherapy has left me with tendon damage and nerve damage in my feet. I love beautiful shoes, but now they just hurt. Shopping for shoes has become tremendously discouraging, everything hurts. I can only wear heels, and they must be soft enough to not irritate my damaged nerves. I decided to take a chance on Miroballi shoes, despite some reviews complaining about the service (I am desperate for attractive shoes). It does not have the selection of a department store, but every shoe in the store is made to be comfortable. I found several pairs of pretty and comfortable shoes, and the service I received was excellent. It was a busy day, and I did not see any customers who appeared to be neglected. The shoes are pricey, but they are comparable to other retailers for the same shoes. I have bought so many pairs of less expensive shoes over the last year and a half, and find myself not being able to wear any of them for more than about a half hour, before I am wishing for my high heeled, squishy flip flops. They stock several brands that are not found in any run of the mill shoe store. If you want a wide range of high quality, comfortable shoes, Miroballi is worth a visit. read more

Nice store in downtown Wheaton....I entered the store and I was greeted by two people...the men's section is in the back. The knowledge of the sales rep was in depth and that's why I prefer to buy a speciality item like shoes from a speciality store like Miroballi. The rep did listen to my current concerns and they didn't just try selling me the most expensive shoe...I actually purchased a shoe which was more expensive than what I was shown...there was a no pressure selling...& they were professional about it. read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!! I bought a pair of UGG boots in 2017 through Amazon and Miroballi Shoes was the seller. I didn't have a need to wear the boots, but pulled them out the other day to look at them, turned them over & discovered that what Miroballi had sent me was a pair of Bass boots in an UGG box. Not only were they Bass boots, but the listing was for black, and what I received were brown boots. Since the transaction was over 90 days, I have no recourse and Miroballi states that they don't even sell Bass products, but, somehow they ended up with a pair & moved them on to me for the price of UGG boots. Shady business!!! I don't even want to add 1 star & if leaving negative stars were an option, I would leave them. read more

I love the new location in downtown Wheaton, with an even broader selection of stylish and comfortable shoes. I shopped here a few times in December, finding a very cute and comfortable pair of short-and-stylish-boots for myself and a pair of suede chukka-style boots for my daughter. Most styles were 15% off and the service on each of my visits was outstanding. Didn't buy them, because I was riding my bike, stopped for a bite to eat nearby, and just walked over to see the new store. If I had written this in may it would've been 5/5 but then today happened and I'm just fed up with rude people. Went into to try to get another pair of hokkas cause their awesome, I go in and do not get greeted at all despite everybody around me being greeted and asked if they could be of any assistance. I know I look young so I'm used to it, but then when I pick up a shoe and the lady there does finally recognize me she was curt and rude when it turned out the shoe I wanted didn't come in my size. I totally get what COVID has done to supply. But her tone was rude and demeaning and I don't have time for it. I believe she could tell I was upset and taken a back and she tried to fix it but by then I just wasn't having any of it. I'm over putting up with rude people and frankly I'm not going to support a store anymore that dismisses younger clientele. Also I'm a nurse and I like to have good shoes when I'm on my feet all day. I loved them in may when they were kind and helpful and even wrote me a hand written note saying thank you for supporting local but today just showed me that they really don't care. So I'm done. My favorite shoe store. I have been customer since they opened in the Wheaton Town Square but so happy they moved to downtown Wheaton.

Went in on an afternoon - they had a good crowd, but only two employees who didn't make eye contact or acknowledge your presence in any way. There was no 'turn taking' as one employee jumped to serve newer customers who she was friendly with. I carried a shoe around, wanting to ask for sizing, but was never acknowledged, so left after 15 minutes. Too bad - they have a nice selection, but need more help!!! read more

I have "problem" feet and am postponing bunion surgery. Having worn my current pair of Clark's to shreds, I returned to Miroballi for the exact same pair due to comfort and fit. No longer made! This is the only location I shop for shoes and I think the customer service is beyond good. They are always eager to help, I already know my size from previous sizings from them, so it's easy. I recently purchased a product at the Wheaton store and when I called to ask about the return policy I got one answer, however when I showed up to return the item another manager told me I could only get a store credit. That was not told me the day before from the other manager. This caused confusion and frustration, since I spent a large amount money on one item. Finally after I debated with him, I got the credit. It was uncomfortable and rude that I was treated so poorly. Bad customer service and they should get their policy straight. I would not recommend shopping at this location as the staff is rude and the store is very small and has a small selection. read more

I've shopped at their old location periodically over the years. Heading to their new location today. Forever in search of a "comfortable" shoe, this is a go-to store to try to find something that will work for me. The shoes tend to be in the higher end cost wise, but they are also more reliable to be comfortable, better quality made shoes and boots that tend to last longer. There are several brands that are being designed for comfort and support while also infusing a nice style design to them as well! There are so many more cute style options now for those who can't wear just any cute inexpensive shoe found at other stores. I've always been greeted by an associate, been given personal attention checking on how something fits, have been given suggestions of other shoes to try when one doesn't happen to work, and have never felt sales pressure. If I don't find something that day I have never been made to feel bad. I had a shoe once specially ordered for me, and when it didn't end up working out, I didn't have any difficulty making the return whatsoever. I'll be back! read more
