This store Wheaton went from good to super bad. Try and find any help, good luck. Men's clothing which is what I was looking for Khaki's. All sizes were ultra small no 38 widths on any sale items, selections were located all in different places meant to drag you around the store to other areas. Selections of real avg size mens pants were ultra slim and that's being generous. Sat afternoon and store was dead inside..I left went to Bloomingdale store and selections were all sizes, neat and orderly. My wife even commented how she liked the store but how poor with help, selections and disarray of items it had become. It's clear to see the management there is poor. Other stores were neat, orderly and busy with people but not this one. I think this store will soon be on its way out as it clearly doesn't make sales quotas at its currently operating. read more

This is one of the many places I visit where they have a problem paying their heat bill. This store is always freezing cold. The customer service people are not always friendly either. But that is the downside. The people who work in the various departments are usually friendly and helpful. The check out people are the best people there. Always super friendly and trying to save you money at the same time. The stores prices are always a safe bet. They have good sales too. The selection is better than the norm. The store has odd return policies so be careful with that. Note: Forget about their phone app. read more

On 5/4/22 I went to this location for the first time with a client who needed to update his wardrobe. He was so excited to get new shirts, pants, shoes, and socks. During checkout the cashier made a point to say, "I will bag your items after your card goes through." As if to assume that he couldn't afford this purchase. This prejudice did not go unnoticed and I would to have liked to address it with the management directly. Do you say this to all your costumers? (He didn't to the woman checking out before us). Or was it because my client was black? What about my client made you feel you could assume that he couldn't afford this purchase and therefore have him "prove" his card would be accepted? This is a microaggression and it has negative impact on the demographic no matter what the reasoning is. read more

I just recently visited this store, and I could not be happier with all the things that I bought. The store is just like what I usually see each time I visit it. Its location is clean and everything is organized. There was always a great find, maybe a thing or two, in this store, and I never left empty-handed. I like the recent experience I had because I was only planning to buy clothes for myself. However, I saw the wonderful collection in the women's section, and I could not help but remember my sister, whose birthday is near, so I decided to buy something for her as a gift. The dress I bought was really nice, and I bet she will definitely like it. The staff also helped me choose that particular dress. I also found wonderful, minimal-style pots that are really nice. I do not know the reason why, but most of the women I know are now fond of plants, so I also bought pots that I gave to my mom, who also loves plants. I liked the experience I had in the store. The collections are wonderful, as are the prices. The staff are friendly and helpful too. read more

I have never been a regular shopper at Kohl's. I did receive a flyer that had some good deals on some Christmas gifts. I decided to take advantage of them and was very pleased. I am a bit confused about all their coupons, etc. There was a coupon and a flyer with a special deal on a certain product. The product was even pictured in the flyer (immersion blender) with a rebate. When checking out I was told it was not included but only for " select items" . This made no sense since the item was prominently shown in the ad. Now I remember why im not a regular customer! read more

You can take your Amazon returns here now. Did you know that? You go back to customer service and then they have this weird sign that says you should go to the left side if you have an Amazon return or online order pickup/return and the other side for store stuff. Isn't that clear cut? I had the online order pickup. They give you a special parking spot so you can jaunt into the store, get your stuff and get out. No, that doesn't work. They have that weird line thing, so I got stuck behind an Amazon return person. No, they didn't have a box. Yes, Kohls has one for you. You also get a 25% off coupon for Kohls. Great. Just give me my damn stuff and let me out! Figure out the signs. Get more people to help. Then you will get more stars and have some happier customers. read more

Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of Khol's to begin with, so this review might be a little biased. First, the store has a messy layout. There's no room in the aisles. Everything is too close together. And what's up with those shopping carts? They look like small maid carts used in hotels. As small as they are, they can barely fit though the clothing sections. Even worse, not all their carts have a child seat. My wife and I had to walk halfway around the store with our toddler son trying to break free from my monster grip on his wrist. Finally, this store has no one working there. Every time we go to check out there's a line winding through the store. While I empathize with the employees, having worked a lot of retail in my life, they could speed things up a little at the register. Yeah this place is good for cheap clothes, shoes and housewares, but it's never the first place I go to when I need something. I try to avoid Khol's as a general rule. read more

I like Kohl's, some people might not remember but the Gap used to be the place that you went to and bought your Levi's (The Gap also had a place called The County Seat for competition, at least at The Water Tower Place in Chicago) At some point in time The Gap re-positioned themselves in the marketplace... and made themselves useless to me. So, I go to Kohls to buy everyday stuff, jeans (because I still like Levi's) t-shirts etc... and also because we had three boys... it's where we bought their stuff; they wanted nothing to do with Abercrombie or Aeropostale or whatever... (Proud Papa!) The one in Wheaton is nice, it's clean and well organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful and are very good at making sure that you max out all of your discounts. They once gave us all of our discounts a day early! Returns are very easy. Overall an unexciting store that functions very well. read more

I actually prefer the Kohl's located at this location over the one closest to me. Why I'm not exactly sure - maybe cause it's a free standing store vs. an anchor for the mall. Regardless, Kohl's is a great place to find good products at a good price. I don't go here for the customer service or the environment. It's all about the sales - which there is always a one. Don't worry about rushing in for one of their 2 hours only sales. The item you want will probably still be reduced. All in all, I highly recommend this Kohl's location. read more

This Kohl's store tends to be pretty uncrowded, compared to the other locations that are always in/near busy malls. The sales are great at Kohl's, and the selection of sale items seems to be better here, probably due to the less-crowded aspect. I also really like that there's a Target and some fast food joints all right in the same corner area. Very convenient for a quickie shopping trip when you don't really want to battle the mall traffic/area. Even in the Christmas season, this location isn't too bad. read more

This store is pretty close to my house so very convenient! The layout is easy to navigate. The store was very clean and the associates were helpful and knowledgeable. I had someone help me thru my entire process of helping me find specific sizes and colors of items, I did have to buy online for a few items but got them with little to no hassle! I've grown rather fond of Kohl's these days...and of all department store credit cards, I probably get the biggest bang for my buck with my Kohl's card - you can always score a card in the mail, an email, or something with some coupon deal going on, and usually with a bonus if you use your Kohl's card. For example - I used their $10 off $25 or more deal for Veteran's Day. Not that I bought the shirt for the name, but the Jennifer Lopez brand shirt was $40, on sale for $30 and with the promos, I walked out of there paying $17 for that shirt! I also noticed when you get a coupon in the mail, you'll find a LOT of things are not on sale, so you're paying about what you'd expect to pay once you fork over that coupon. I've had a lot of luck these days shopping in the women's clothes section...that's usually where I shop here, once in a while for jewelry, and shoes. This location is particularly dangerous because it's so close to work, and I probably don't leave without something when I go, but it's usually never crowded during the week, check out is fairly quick, and I will continue to return because of convenience. read more

This is probably the most disorganized Kohl's I have ever been in. They have added some new clearance racks, which is fabulous for my wallet, but every piece of clothing is on a hanger that says a different size, and all of the sizes are mixed in together in the marked sections. It makes shopping, which already sucks, suck even more. I really wish this store would get it together already. read more

I recently had an incredibly disappointing trip to this store. After becoming engaged my fiance and I went here to take a look at their rings. I was walking around looking at the rings, and the jewelry clerk walked past me several time without acknowledging me. Finally, I stopped her and asked if I could see the prices on some rings. Her immediate response to me was "those rings are going to be expensive". I hadn't yet given her a budget, or any information (as she hadn't asked), so this comment rubbed me the wrong way. By the time our conversation was done she was suggesting that maybe I look at silver jewelry as I wasn't going to be able to find anything in my budget in gold. The budget I gave her was completely reasonable, and after this negative experience I went elsewhere and wound up with a gorgeous GOLD ring for well within my budget. I don't think I'll be going back to this store anytime soon. read more

How is this disorganized store ever going to be ready for the holiday shopping season? Nothing is on the racks where it should be, piles of pants and shirts are not organized by size, and the aisles are blocked with random kiosks of accessories. No wonder people are staying home and shopping online. I live nearby, so love the convenience of a nearby department store. But what I like is that when they mail out a coupon, it is good on everything. Other stores, s/a Carsons, don't allow the use of their coupon on yellow dot, cosmetics, super values or electronics. I do like Carson's fashion, style and quality better. read more

I love this store, and Kohl's in general. However, don't even bother applying for a job here unless you plan on working every weekend and have completely open availability on the weekend. They will set up an interview with you, send you five reminders about it, and never once read your availability. They did this to me for a phone interview, then forget to call me. Half an hour after my interview was supposed to be I called the store. After being put on hold twice I was told to call back and ask for the store manager Cindy. After calling back and being put on hold two more times, I got to Cindy, who didn't even have the interview time for me that I had been told I had 5 times. She then made me wait a few minutes, and started the interview by asking for my availability. Keep in mind on the two applications I sent this company they had the exact same availability spelled out with limited weekend availability. When I told her I could only work weekend nights after a certain time and every other Saturday morning, but that I was available a large chunk of time every weekday. She went that's not going to work and ended the interview, saying let me know if that changes I won't hire anyone who can't work all weekend because that's our busy time. The interview lasted four minutes and I've never had a company waste my time quite as rudely as them for an interview. It's not hard to read a potential hires availabilty prior to setting up an interview. I was very unimpressed by the lack of professionalism and respect this showed me. read more

Mostly terrible customer service. The times when I've purchased something without a coupon or needed a gift receipt or needed any assistance at all, have been fine. I once waited 15 minutes for a price check at the register only to then have to wait longer while the cashier helped more people after the associate who went to check the price for the cashier came back with the item correctly priced. Said associate then took the next person in line instead of me so I could wait more. Another time there was a printer issue with my gift receipts so they had to be printed elsewhere and brought to me. This took awhile but the associate was very kind and apologetic. He gave me a 20% coupon for the inconvenience to be used at a later visit. I greatly appreciated his value for my time and thought my faith in this store was being restored. Unfortunately when I tried to use the coupon, the cashier didn't care to actually read it and gave me a hard time to the extent where at one point she took it from me and said she was keeping it even though it says it is valid for a full day (not a single purchase). I had to demand it back and left without making my purchase. I will not be returning to this Kohl's. read more

You can tell a good business by how often the manager is visible and present, and that is non existent here. Also the cashiers try to force the charge card down your throat when you checkout. I used to like this store until today! Went in to buy my husband a few things and I happened to come across a pair of women's shoes for myself that were on clearance. When I was checking out, the cashier couldn't find the UPC number for the shoes she she called someone to come get the shoes to look for the number. I specifically told them they were not on a box and there were no other shoes with them. All she had to do was call the manager and ask for a general number for shoes and I would be done... But NO! I waited for awhile until this guy named Marcus went to get the shoes. He then finally comes back and says "sorry I got held up with another customer" .. Like did you even look for the shoes??? In the end Ann the cashier ended up calling the manager for the General UPC number.. I seriously wasted so much of my time waiting for something that was unnecessary. Ridiculous. I def will be taking the survey for today's shopping visit. and the Guy Marcus def had a rude attitude. read more

We put a large item up front for them to hold while we shopped. We got up to the front after waiting in a long long and they had put it back on the floor. The cashier told us we would have to wait until the person who put it back on the floor to come back from lunch to retrieve it!! What a joke! She then rang up our order..our subtotal was $97 and so we grabbed another item to get to the $100 to get $30 in Kohls cash instead of $15. The cashier said she had no idea how Kohls cash worked and spending $97 would get us the same amount of Kohls cash as $100 would...this cashier obviously had no training or common sense...what a racket..especially during the holidays..they need employees who know what they are doing. read more

I was disappointed with my visit today. I used to be a big Kohl's shopper - we're talking my entire wardrobe was pretty much Kohl's. However, in the past few years I've found in store deals to be limited, seasoned employees to be rude and I get bored when clothes shopping for myself. I imagined I'd be at this location for an hour minimum but I maxed out at 15 minutes. The 75% off clearance sale was in full effect but I could barely find any amazing deals. Back in the day I'd get 10 clearance items for under $50. It was awesome. Today even with 75% off and extra Kohl's MvC charge card savings I barely found a decent women's clearance shirt less than $20. So not impressed. I browsed women's, pjs, jewelry, purses, housewares and baby. The only section I enjoyed was baby clothes. They have a great selection of Carter's clothes but the clearance section prices weren't all that great. Plus a store employee nearly plowed into me while I was browsing the clearance rack. I felt like I was in the way even though I was the shopper. The Customer service line was long (nothing new here). Generally Employees weren't friendly to me or other shoppers except for some of the POS cashiers. I'd rather buy online than return to this location. read more

The five star rating are for two associates who on 10/17/15 went "the extra mile" for myself and my husband. To make a long story short...we were looking for men's separates (sport jacket and slax). We were celebrating our wedding anniversary that day. The racks were jam packed full of clothes. I couldn't move the hangers one way or the other, and when I tried to pull the hanger from the rack, the slax would be pulled off and fall to the floor. After a half-hour looking for both items I was getting mad. I have arthritis in my hands and at that point the pain was unbearable. I never experienced this before at our Kohls. It was then I saw Marcus. I approached and asked him why the racks were filled so much, and if he could help me? He was helping out in that dept. as he usually is in the shoe department, but would get someone for me right away. He also started to help me with the rack. Before I knew it, Cynthia came over. She apologized for the cramping of the racks (they needed to put everything out to sell to make room for the new merchandise coming in), and then became our "personal shopper" with Marcus' help. Anyway, they both worked very hard to make us happy, especially, Cynthia, and for that we are so grateful. This was all done with a smile on their faces. Thanks to Marcus and Cynthia, they made everything right, and we were able to enjoy our very special day. read more

Always get the worst of everything at this particular Kohl's. Generally I am okay with Kohl's especially for kids cloths. This one is never busy which should be a plus, but they staff it with really rude customer service! I went to exchange a pair of dockers from another kohls because I didn't want to deal with traffic and I had my son with me. But I couldn't find my size in any of the lee skimmers, and when I got some help the first lady was sympathetic and generally tried to help. It was the reject in the customer service department that blew me up. Because how dare I not fit into the 10, 6, and 4's that are on the shelf. If you want to have it shipped to the store first she said I had to use the kiosk and do it myself. Wait what happened to helping the customer? Of course there are no kohl's in the 50 mile radius that have what I want, I then ask if they could order it for me and she responded with, "I can give you a rain check that you can redeem in 4 - 6 weeks." I am getting mad because I can tell she doesn't want help, the first lady steps in to try to salvage and said, "No the customer would like us to order it." She responds with, "Oh, well we can do that it can take up to a week to get here. By then I just want to return the item get my money back and go. Instead of putting it back on my debit card she gives it to me in cash. I think she was just seeing how mad she could make me. She should not be in the customer service department! I won't be going back to this Kohl's ever again! Also I won't shop for myself in a Kohl's just cheap kids cloths. read more
