This is a review for their Eufaula location, Their location in eufaula is just so inconvinient, Parking lot maybe 7 parking spaces for more than one business ? Nope , very odd place for a food business , the food was ok but 20 something dollars for 10 wings , fries and a drink ? I can go to willy t's and get 2 wing specials with fries and drink for 20 dollars and each get a drink and fries... Maybe pick a different location with a bigger parking and more costumers will be happy to take the time to dine in. read more

If I could give negative stars you would be a -3. Let's start, waitress in FLIP FLOPS??. Condiment containers fell on the floor. Let's just pick it up and put it back on the customer's food. Took us 30 minutes for someone to bring us tea and a beer. I had to ask if anybody will our order. Another hour still no food. Yet staff was joking and talking the some "regulars"after 1.5 hours , still no food, watching the flip flop lady playing her hair, we paid and left. The quality of the food???? No clue we never got it. My husband and I love trying different places. We are super careful about posting reviews. Some days are harder then others. We both worked many years in the restaurant business, it's hard, but this is not acceptable. Staff needs to understand,, " your customers pay your paycheck, no customers, no money, no job" We will not be back, you have to do better. Food for thought for the owner. You need to inplement a system, what waitresses has what tables. 3 people had no clue, who is taking care of which table. Assign the tables, put numbers on the tables, so they do not get confused. Normally I like Things & Wings, but today our server was not attentive, and my food was not good at all. The food didn't seem fresh or like whoever cooked it cared. My wrap was not appealing in looks or taste. The wrap was super wet and strange. My squash fries were undercooked, but the flavor was alright. The waffle fries were dry. Great wings. I had the Nashville napalm, my brother had the hot and Dad had the mild. I thought mine would have more of a kick than it did, but it had a really good flavor. Always in the mood for wings, and this place was within walking distance of the hotel. They offered a wide variety of sauces, from mild to ones that probably requires a release from legal counsel. I was in a "Medium" mood, and that's the level of heat that my wings possessed. Service was fast and the wings were plump and tasty..... that sounds like a morning show radio team... My lapse in judgement which lead me to this particular franchise location was proximity. It's in the adjacent parking lot from the Hampton Inn. I walk over because I'm starving and upon entering the manager is having a loud personal discussion with a young woman. Additionally, one of the servers is yelling at one of her 2 children she brought with her to work. Poor kid was just bored. I review the menu. The place is empty. The manager started taking my order, she then abruptly passed me off to a server for no apparent reason. I inquire about the temp of flavors. The servers response is I have no idea I don't eat hot stuff. Nice. Thanks. I went X-hot. A guy that came in and suggested getting some Terminator on the side. He told me it was really hot but had great flavor. I place my order. No credit or debit cards accepted unless you want to allow them "to call another store" to run the transaction. Their machines are broken. Um no thanks I'll pay cash. I actually had cash for a change. Wish I didn't cause I would have left. I don't know how they're planning to operate without accepting credit cards. One server said it's been that way all week. Appears there are a litany of managerial issues. I tried to order from there the last time I was in town. I was one of maybe 3 people inside and they said it would be an hr and a half before they could fill my order because they had a lot of call ins that day. I knew better was my own fault for going in. I was hungry tired and didn't want to drive. I get my wings in a reasonablish time frame. The time frame was commensurate with adequate cooking time for fresh wings; however, I did not receive fresh hot wings I got hard chewy wings that appeared to a be re-fried from much earlier. The XHot is basic medium to hot in most places. I taste the recommended terminator sauce and it was just terrible. It tasted awful and it wasn't even hot. The X-hot flavor was decent in flavor, but the small twice cooked old hard wings were not good. I would not recommend going and I will not return for any reason. A couple of the severs seemed really nice. I hope they find a better employment opportunity. read more

Just had lunch at this place and I wish I had not! I have eaten here before and it was rather good. It seemed today that not much was good except the water. Got a hamberger and veggies, had to send back the veggies because they were old, over cooked, and just plain nasty; the waitress said "eww! that does not look good at all." I told her that I would just have the fries instead - The fries had to go back because they were undercooked and cold. - New fries were overcooked and tasted like the oil was old. My wife ordered the Chicken salad It was suppose to come with tomato's so we asked about those and then received some old refrigerated slimy tomato's. If you like wings, you'll like this place. Things and Wings makes something like 30+ in house sauces, most of which are very different than what you would find at other places. I usually get traditional wings with the sweet heat sauce. Tell them to cook them "North Carolina style" and after they fry the wings, they throw them on the grill for a minute and cook the wings in the sauce, developing the flavor a little bit and taking away a little of the heat. I'm pretty sure their ranch is also made in house, it seems like it has a little kick of something good in there which pairs well with the wings. Also, get the corn nuggets with a side of their honey garlic mustard, if you have more than one person get a larger order. You'll thank me later. read more

The waffle fries were extremely greasy. If you're getting your order to-go, check it before you leave. They will argue with you and tell you you're wrong when you tell them they left out the fries. I ordered delivery. The food was on time, not that hot but that is to be expected with delivery. I had a burger with tossed salad, fried mushrooms and wings. I asked for blue cheese with the wings. When I got the order to my room, the dressing for the wings was ranch. There were no other condiments of any kind provided, not even salt & pepper. There was also no utensils or napkins provided. Kind of hard to eat a tossed salad with your fingers. The mushrooms were small, cold and bland. The burger would have been much better if there were condiments provided.
