I got takeout from Fire Stone, per a local recommendation. The salad was fantastic, I just wish it was a bit bigger. The pasta/chicken Parmesan was a decent portion. The fun guy pizza was okay, a little burnt but the flavor combo was great. The food arrived within an hour. read more

The pizza was actually really good--fresh crust, flavorful sauce, and perfectly melted cheese. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The kitchen was slow. Waiting a little over an hour for our food. We waited too long for a basic order, I'd come back for pizza only--definitely have a beer or two while you're waiting for your pizza!! a couple of us ordered off of the brunch menu. Dashed with Jesselyn. She was communicative and fast. The pizza was very cheesey and the tiramisu was delicious. The side spinach salad was large, but it could use more cheese. The restaurant is one of the finer in the areas that doesn't just serve chicken. The service was quick and just in time for my Friday the 13th movie. I can't wait to eat in person. Now the Cons: We found the menu limited for a Wood Fired Grill restaurant. We ordered the Pineapple-Ham pizza and a side salad. Food arrived: This WAS NOT A PIZZA.... it was flatbread.... It was really more like a non-salted saltine cracker and tasted like cardboard. Pizzas are supposed to have a "little chew", with good flavor ......this one had neither. No flavor, hardly any toppings and soooooo thin, the crust actually separated. (look at my picture). All for $16.50. We ate what we could tolerate, but still hungry, we ordered their Smoked Chicken Wings. OMG..... they couldn't even get those right!! They were very dry, overcooked, and burnt. (another picture). 6 wings for $13.00 was a BIG ripoff. Yes, they had a good crowd, but... the Owners should be embarrassed! It's the Staff that keeps patrons coming back, certainly not the food. I noticed the menu pics on Yelp are years out of date so I posted some new ones. The pizza was good. High quality ingredients and cooked perfectly with a little crunch in the dough but not too much. I would eat here again if not for the price. It is a little on the expensive side if your dining alone. For a date or business meeting it's perfect. Clean with good decor. The bartender Kylie was awesome. Very nice and attentive without being overbearing. The staff is all dressed and groomed for a nice dining experience. Great restaurant go check it out read more

It was a late Sunday night and we were looking for a restaurant that wasn't a chain but had quality food. The FSWFG met that criteria. We reviewed the online menu and decided to check it out. We sat down to have our drink orders taken and the waitress proceeded to tell is they were out of fresh catch, shrimp and crab ravioli, crab bites, carrots and smashed potatoes. My wife ordered the grilled chicken tacos, they brought fried chicken tacos. I had the ribeye, it was a 4 out of 10. My FIL had the filet, also just fair. After reading numerous reviews, I was really looking forward to eating here. Most of the food pictures looked really delicious too. This place is smack in the middle of town. Their parking lot is a little small but there's an overflow lot on the corner. On arrival, there were just a few diners inside. But the place started filling up by the time I left. The small parking lot was pretty full when I left. The inside was nicely decorated. The hostess asked if I'd like to dine at the bar since I was alone on this visit. I declined and ate at a table. Pandemic protocols were in place with the staff and they were all nice and attentive. There are a few TV monitors around the bar area. After seeing a couple pictures, I knew I wanted to try their Chicken Alfredo dinner. My tastebuds were fired up for something really flavorful! My server offered a side salad. When the salad came, it had the wrong dressing (in a side container) so he took it to get the right dressing. He brought a small metal side container with oil & balsamic vinaigrette. I assumed it was well mixed, but it wasn't. When I poured it, nothing but the oil emptied onto my salad because it was floating atop the balsamic. So I ended up with a pretty oily salad. My dinner arrived shortly after my salad and I was ready to dig in. First bite seemed a little off so I threw on some pepper. But it didn't help. The Chicken Alfredo dish flavor was OK, but it wasn't even close to being delicious. I was so disappointed. I've dined at lots of Italian restaurants and pizza joints in my life. And maybe I should have tried the pizza since more their specialty. So I'm mid-road whether or not I'll eat here again considering the fact that there are so many alternatives to choose from. You should try the place and judge for yourself. You might like it way more than I did. read more

Waitress was inattentive spent her time in the kitchen goofing off with the staff. Pizza was tasty but not hot cooks tossing crust without gloves. Overpriced 4 ounce wine servings. Salad was suppose to have feta cheese when we told our waitress she came back and said they were out. So we picked goat cheese and 10 minutes later we got the cheese. Came here with some coworkers after work and it was a great choice! The wood fired pizza had that perfect crispy crust and the toppings tasted fresh. The shrimp and grits were a surprise hit for me! I started with the truck stop honey brown ale. It was pretty good. It had a little sweetness but not overwhelming. When I'm traveling I try to eat healthy because it's easy not to so I got a starter size spinach salad. It was really good. The dressing was homemade and the cheese was excellent. For my entree I got the small Figgy pizza. The pizza was pretty good. I prefer a thinner pizza that's a little on the crispy side over a pizza that kinda flips around since it's not cooked all the way through. Everything on the pie was good. If I had to nitpick one thing, it would be there wasn't enough figgy. There was the right amount of savory (cheese) but it needed a little more sweet. I don't make it to Dothan often but I'll make it a point to make this a stop when I'm in the area. read more

This is a cute restaurant with GF pizza. However, when we were there yesterday, the staff was not knowledgable about gluten safety. Our server said "we have a gluten free pizza crust. Otherwise nothing else gluten free." To be clear, they also have salads and steaks. But I wasn't going to chance getting gluttoned, so I got a plain spinach salad - it was fresh. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and said the chicken was good, but sauce was not flavorful. read more

The best pizza hands down in the area. Their wood fired grill cooks the pizza to a perfect thin crust almost NY style pizza. They have a huge variety of toppings and you can make your own pizza! However the Meat Baby with added ricotta. That is where it's at. All the meats and cheese then add ricotta on top to finish the delicacy. It is by far the best pizza in town. The cheese bread was the same, on a thin crust with a ton of cheese, the marinara was delicious with it. Service was great! I love they have local beers and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant.
