This store charges you for using your credit/debit card, entirely against MasterCard and Visa rules. The staff becomes belligerent when a customer brings it to their attention! Also, the food is marginal, at best. Although they are the only pizza source in Ashford, I recommend driving to the circle to avoid their questionable business practices and rude customer interactions. Also, I ordered a white pizza and received a standard tomato-based pizza. They didn't bother to tell me they didn't know how to make my order; just baked their standard pie! We LOVE the "Meat lovers Calzone" from David's pizza! It's one of our favorite meals to order and pick up. Never have to wait too long.. call in orders are usually ready for pick up within 15 min. I know David's Pizza has been in Ashford for about 5 years. I don't love pizza as much as I did as when I was a child. But the wings here are legit! They have 5 sauces to choose from: BBQ, Garlic Parm, Buffalo, Mango Habanero, and my selection for the evening - Mango Jalepeno. My wings were ready and cooked to order within 10 minutes. They were really wet, just the way I love them, and the best part....I didn't have to ask them to make them extra wet. A simple concept some wing joints do not get right. You are probably wondering what Mango Jalepeno tastes like. It has a sweet fruity taste with the spiciness of the Jalepeno at the end. If you have had Beef O' Bradys Sweet Jalepeno flavor, it tastes very similar to it. It is like a spicier, thicker, sweet and spicy sauce you find at Chinese buffets. 12 wings were $10.99 and you can only choose one sauce (BOOO!!!) But you could get 6 wings in one sauce and 6 wings in another and it would be about $1 more. That's how you out-game the system. I will be coming back for more wings from David's. read more

Poor food and customer service, been going there for months started in Headland but location loser had go too Ashford. If you like burnt pizza or cold uncooked pizza this place is for you. Manger was rude young did not know how handle complaint when I returned the uncooked pizza all the were concerned about was the time I send back a burnt pizza. Her comment was if I got bad service I would not go back, well we will not be returning and the experience has been pass around Dothan Alabama. Outstanding service and great food. Portions were larger than expected and all of the vegetables were fresh and well prepared. Incredibly unfriendly. Would give zero stars if possible. Walked in to get a sandwich and pizza to go at about 7:45pm. Server said the kitchen closes at 8:00pm. I noted that it was not yet 8:00pm. The calzones are good, which is why I gave it 3 stars. I used to L O V E the pizza, but they must have changed the recipes in the last 2 years. The pizza dough has good tooth and cooked well, but has a weird sweet flavor, and the sauce is bland, sweet and watery. The toppings used to be generous, now they're sparse. In fact I used to have to remind myself not to order extra cheese like I do for other pizzerias because it was way too much.(never thought I'd say THOSE words) Mushrooms used to be thick slices of juicy goodness applied liberally, now they're sparingly applied thin dry slices. This place is really good. You can get pizza by the slice like you do in the mall, which makes it very convenient as a lunch spot. For a small town restaurant it is very large and spacious with pull out chairs so wheelchairs can pull right up to the table. It is very affordable. My favorite is the Hawaiian pizza! This was my second time eating here. You honestly can't say enough about how friendly the staff is. They are very quick, accommodating and down to earth. From the moment you walk in the door until you walk right back out. It's no secret I love pizza but you don't come by the style nor quality of pizza/Italian food like this often!!! I was a few minutes shy of the lunch special for the day so I was slightly disappointed. Next thing I know as I'm sitting there waiting for my food, two slices of pizza are laid down on the table. The special was 2 slices for a certain price. The lady told me we decided to just go ahead and give you the second slice. Staff and management were very rude to my family and I. We needed a table for 8 and staff acted as if they didn't even care about our business. We were repeatedly told that no tables could be moved and yet another family who arrived after us was able to move tables while we had to crunch into a 6person table. When a family member asked why we weren't able to move a table the Staff and manager both became very defensive and cut us off. This was disappointing and truly upsetting. Another issue we had was with the table and high chair. Our toddler was not even able to reach her own food. This is not okay and we will not be returning. While misunderstandings and accidents happen this was handled so poorly. I can't believe that even the manager made the comment about staff " well it wasn't me who said that and no one asked me". This could have been solved by a simple "I'm sorry, we had some miscommunication and apologize for any inconvenience." But instead it was like dealing with children who couldn't own the problems. Poor staff, poor management, poor service, and mediocre food . And side note negative reviews have been laughed at on FB. Seems very unprofessional to me read more
