The food was good, enjoyed the hometown feel. Was able to find Blackberry preserves with seeds(hard to find).

Such a warm, personable and genuine spot. The owners took incredible care to check on us, and the food was amazing. My daughter says she'll never eat grilled cheese another way, my salad was so fresh, and the sweet potato waffle fries were thin and crispy. I'm confused... came by a week ago and was told they have the best hamburgers in the area. As long as your there by 3pm. WELL we arrived at exactly 2pm only to be told the kitchen closed at 2. NOT HAPPY, we raced from PCB to try that burger. read more

Love the food, staff, and atmosphere. We stop here every time we travel to tye beach and back. I always get the pimento burger & sweet potato waffle fries. We also love to get the casseroles to go to cook when we get home. The staff is so friendly and they even remember us. Love the syrup they make too and so much in the gift shop. Half way between self serve and table service. Self order, then they bring food to table. Eggs and sausage were good. Pancakes were light and fluffy. Coffee was very weak. Also, served in paper cup which takes away from taste, too. Average biscuits. Counter service was not your typical over friendly hospitality. Greeter and food runner were very southern style. Interesting food items in general store. Trying the cinnamon cream honey. They recommend it on baked sweet potato instead of butter. I will experiment with it in my protein shake one morn. read more

Such a great place to stop while traveling. With 5 grandkids in tow plus their crazy grandparents, everyone found something to eat. The kids meals also came with a scoop of ice cream. There is a cute little store. We will probably stop on our way home. read more

*forgot to post from 7/2017* Super nice! I love to buy local and this was a hidden treasure. My brother was looking for cane juice in which we were informed that it wasn't in season. A staff gave me a frozen bottle from the back and I was super excited sweet and fresh when it defrosted. The peanut brittle that purchased was demolished as I returned home to the guest lol. read more

Great business and incredible family running this establishment. Their willingness to bed over backwards for customers is amazing! Stopped in for a country cooking breakfast and you're able to purchase local honey and Organic milk from the local dairy too. They now have RV sites towards the back of the lot. We were passing by and decided to stop and try the food for lunch. The shop was cute and had a variety of homemade items. I ate the chicken salad on a croissant and it was delicious. The side order of pasta salad tastes so fresh and tasty. The burgers were also tasty. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Love this place. Will frequent it often. read more

Worst breakfast I have ever had. Bacon and biscuit were stone cold. They brought me another biscuit that had been warmed up in a microwave. Nasty. No friendly personal service. First time visiting. Will not be back. read more
