I was impressed with how well the restaurant is run. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff. After the bartender made drinks, he or other staff would deliver them. We had the grapefruit martini and the lime basil Mescalita. They were both really good. The Mescalita had smoky bacon salt on the rim which made a unique touch. The staff were very attentive to service which I really appreciate. The owner was walking around monitoring everything and greeted the tables. Our plates were picked up right away and the staff were never idle. We had crab croquettes as an appetizer and they were really good. They had an unexpected heat to them and perfectly crispy. My husband ordered a ceasar salad and unfortunately there was no trace of anchovy whatsoever. It really tasted like bottled dressing. The salad wasn't tossed and there were clumps of dressing. It wasn't impressive. We both ordered steaks. I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly but the marinade tasted like a combination of teriyaki and Dale's. We would have preferred just salt, pepper and garlic because it was a good quality steak that doesn't need much to make it great. The loaded mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts made delicious sides. Overall, we will give it another try. read more

We drove to The Bottle Tree after work with 5 staff members, about 20 minute drive from South Dothan, we were in for a treat. We got there and I told the greeter we had driven all the way from Nebraska to dine with them tonight. Their response was "do you have reservations"?? They found a way to get us in to a mostly full restaurant. The owner came over and we chatted about Nebraska. She said her dad had went to University of Nebraska but finished in Florida. She said she was born in Lincoln. Well that gets you favored status I guess, the service was spectacular all evening. The restaurant has wall drawings of influential people that had helped them start the restaurant which was pretty cool. Most of us had the Snapper with some spicy macaroni that was simply to die for. We ate every bite. After dinner we order strawberry shortcake and Banana pudding. The shortcake was good but the banana pudding was not of this world it was so good. I will go back for the pudding alone !! Do not pass up a dining experience with this crew at this restaurant. read more

I had the fried cheese curds with homemade creole ranch as an appetizer and they were perfect. For my entree, I had the alligator/pork sausage and fresh gulf shrimp pasta with creole cream sauce and it was fantastic! Plenty of shrimp and sausage and just the right amount of sauce to not overpower the dish. I also recommend the adult peach tea drink made with peach tea and a local peach moonshine distilled just down the road from Keel and Co distillery. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall a wonderful experience and I will be back. read more

a gem. the headland bottle tree is where you go when you want a dining experience but you don't want to leave town; that counts for anyone living in the wiregrass area. the menu is simple. there's usually at least one tempting special. for desserts follow them on ig. Spoiler: it's a good follow. staff takes good care. beautiful little spot, beautiful story. of course would recommend a hundred times. read more

If a restaurant owner/operator decides that this night is by reservation ONLY but fails to notify the public/followers of that odd restriction via ALL its social media accounts then allows those unaware of the restriction to plan dinner at that establishment to enter only to be turned away bc reservations are required deserves nothing less. One star is required in order to post. Management's call on this night is beyond ridiculous. read more

Decent food. Terrible, and I mean terrible service from our server. I will always pay for good quality food but I expect the service to match. I've had better service at McDonald's. I didn't want to spend 3 hours of my evening here but that's what it ended up being because our server took that long in between interactions. Not worth the money to be treated like that. read more

I went to the bottle tree for a private baby shower last month. I love that you're able to have a private event here if desired. We were blown away with the amazing service given by the owner, Whitney Woodham. She was so kind and attentive to her guests. Her chef prepared some tomato sandwiches, mini quiches, and cucumber sandwiches, but let me tell you about that French toast bread pudding though! It was soft, sweet, with a little crunch and I've been thinking about it ever since. All of the food was delicious. Whitney even made a "mock tail" bar for the guests and momma to be. This cozy restaurant is a must go if you've not been yet! 5 stars!!!!!! read more

This is my first time attending this restuarant and we had arrived at 7:23, although even having a reservation 7:30, we were seated 30 min later around 8:03. About three parties were seated before us even though we had arrived first and also had the same reservation. Once we were seated the service was somewhat slow. The food was good, I had the 12oz ribeye with the mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. While the food was really good, paying $40 seemed a little too pricy. The atmosphere in the restuarant is also very loud and very hard to hear yourself talk when it's busy. The food was the highlight, though I wouldn't go back again. read more

I will say that the food here is really good. We ordered the appetizer of fried okra for five dollars. Although it was good, I think 5 pieces was a complete rip off. So if you want to pay 1 dollar for a piece of okra this is your place. After waiting for 15 min i finally had to ask for menus. The waitress had a stack in her hand. She said she would be right back. Five minutes later we got menus. After a few more minutes we were finally asked about drinks. This took forever to finally arrive at the table. If you like hot drinks with no ice this is your place. After 5 minutes all ice was gone and all refills were hot. Im not big on hot sweet tea. No in their defense i did not ask for any. Then came the food. It was really good. The pictures i saw made the deserts look excellent. I decided to order some. After waiting forever we had to waive to our waitress to try to get her attention. She saw us then said something to the table that she was at and the whole table turned and looked at us. Well pretty obvious she said something. I would have never said anything but she had been at that table for over 5 minutes talking. Well she put the hustle on and about 3 minutes later made the long 5 step walk towards our table. Another waitress had stop at our table by then. She never asked us what we needed. Now she probably thought the other waitress had taken care of us but she could have asked. 10 minutes later she brought check and had the nerve to ask if we wanted dessert. Yea like 25 minutes ago. I would like to give you a review of the dessert but i never had any. Sat down at 702 and walked out at 930. So if you want to spend 2.5 hrs at a restaurant that has very good food with horrible service this is your spot. I will try again but hope for a different waitress.
