Like Cindy W. said its like Urban Outfitters meets Antrhopolgie smashed with sassiness. I love all the original pieces that this store carries. They have this one particular brand that remakes their pieces from either vintage materials or old fabric and its awesome to have a one of a kind piece. I don't feel that the prices are too high like some of the other reviewers have said, then again I do know how to appreciate things that are found at the malls or department stores. I love it!! One of the pluses that I found about this place is their selection for kids, mens, womens, and home. There's a little bit of everything there so its hard not to walk away with something in your hand. The perfect name to the perfect store. This place is the epitome of what I'm looking for in a shopping experience: clean, well-organized racks assorted by style/color scheme, a very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful retro furniture/houseware pieces, gorgeous handbags and accessories, hilarious cards (bday, etc)...and I could on and on. I'm the type of girl who freaks out in malls and large shopping spaces with so many clothes mashed together that none stand out. Everything in Therapy is carefully selected, I honestly love (or at least appreciate) every unique dress they carry here. Plus they have great basics, t's, cardigans, tanks, etc... Price-wise, I've bought dresses that ran from $20-$100, and they all get a lot of use and compliments. Maybe I"m just extra-gushy about this store at the moment because the girls were SO helpful the other day in helping me pick out an outfit for my first date in over a year (we just had a baby, so yes, the date was with my husband, but still, a date! Alright, I know I gave this place 5 stars already, but I HAD TO REVIEW IT AGAIN. Seriously, check it out. The Customer Service is just amazing!! Not only are they the most helpful bunch of people, but they're awesome. The cashier forgot to ring up my sunglasses at the Reg, so she just threw them in on the house! & it was not just her, all the ladies here were super helpful with sizes and trying things on. I LOVE this store. They have everything from jewelery, hats, homeware, shoes and clothes. I have only indulged in the clothes but they have a good selection. I've picked up a casual, everyday t-shirt to a dress for a company party. They also seem reasonably priced. The sales clerk was very nice getting me a dressing room, bringing me different things to try on for my company party and making sure I had the correct size. The clothes also have a unique style and are different from what you'd find in a department store or chain. I will be back to buy gifts for friends or to update my fall wardrobe. read more

I first discovered Therapy in San Luis Obispo and immediately fell in love. Living 3 hours away from a place like this was safe since I could definitely find myself blowing my money there weekly. Then I found out about Therapy SF...then Mountain View...it was creeping dangerously close to me, yet still far enough away that I rarely went. Suddenly, there it was: Therapy Campbell...only 2 blocks from work and less than a mile from home...I was ecstatic and scared all at once. I love this place because of the unique items...I won't run into another girl in the same Forever 21 frock ever again...the clothing is not super overpriced, but definitely not cheap. I think it is worth every penny to support local business, find different clothing and not drain my bank account in the process. I love this place. It is like Anthropologie without the attitude or sticker shock. They make sure you are noticed when you arrive and are very friendly and genuine, but leave you alone if you are just browsing. On the flip side, they are really helpful without being pushy when you need guidance . This place has really reasonable prices and unique, well selected merchandise for both men and women, great accessories, shoes, jewelry and gift items. I can always find great stuff for whatever occasion, either on my own or with their thoughtful suggestions. read more

The best place to get (and give) a gift from! Therapy has an amazing, ever-changing assortment of unique and quality housewares, jewelry, clothing, books, purses, baby and so much more! The employees are super-friendly (think instant bff while you shop) and provide you with honest opinions on gift ideas for your friends or family or co-workers (did I mention they also sell cards and gift bags?) Every time I come into this shop I leave with much more than I intend to, and I keep coming back for more. This is a feel good place where browsing the interesting assortment of products never gets old and is by far one of my favorite shops anywhere. So glad they have multiple locations all throughout the Bay Area (and now also in Portland, OR). read more

Therapy was a great store when it started. I still buy most of my gifts from here. The selection is great, the taste impeccable. The gifts are targeted to a young audience and usually have a sense of humor. The store is well decorated as well. Go here if you're looking for a chic, casual gift for a social event. It's not a great place for formal gifts though. Regarding pricing: the store was much more affordable in the past. Things are priced quite high these days. I'm finding it a tad uncompetitve. Originally went to the Mountain View location looking for accent pieces for a living room and brought my boyfriend with me. He stopped to take a look at the watches and fell in love with one of them. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We didn't buy the watch that day (but I had planned to get it for my bf for Father's day) so I called a week later and the girl who answered even guided me through the website to make sure she had the exact watch I was talking about. She even called this Campbell location to have them hold it for me. When I got to this location, service was just as great! Therapy has adorable random gift ideas. If I had the desire to blow a bunch of money, I could easily do that here on weird and awesome items like the perfect journal for hypochondriacs like me, " I'm dying today because..." (photo upload in 3..2..1..) While I was browsing, the girls that worked here the day I came in were very upbeat and friendly. But they still gave me my personal space and didn't come haggle me. I love it when I can walk into boutiques like this and leave without the the pretentious or snotty attitudes of others. Nope, these girls were real chill. I wasn't exactly window shopping but also couldn't find any clothes that I could commit to. A lot of the clothes really weren't my style I guess..or the things I found cute would be perfect......if I was short and super skinny. It's all good though because hey, I got curves...I gotta do what I gotta do. So if that means going somewhere else for the clothing part then that's okay. For me, the best part of this store were the random nicknacks, books, candles, and some of the jewelery. I heard the cards are funny as well. I'll definitely be back since it's only a few steps away from my house. Lastly, the only thing I have to say is the city of Campbell needs to get with the times and allow this place to have a sign above their store. This store is great! They always have really unique items that make for fun gifts for all occasions. It's also a fun place to browse and keep up to date with what is on trend at the moment. The clothing selection is small but quite diverse, there is usually only one size available for each item. They do offer to call other stores and have the size you need shipped to the store for pick up for free. Sometimes it is hard to find a lot of good items as my style leans more towards classy vintage then what is trendy, but I can always find something. Hmm...perhaps that's a good thing for my pocketbook. The best thing about the store is their customer service. The salespeople are always really friendly and willing to help. It's my go to place when I have an event and have no idea what to wear. It's fun to have help and a different eye when picking out clothes and accessories for the clothing. I've received many compliments on the dresses I've purchased from here. The items are unique and I haven't seen them at other places where I've shopped (and I shop A LOT). So, needless to say, it'll be highly unlikely that someone else is wearing the same dress as you. read more

My new favorite clothing store. I visited the Burlingame store not realizing there was one down the street, in Campbell. First, all the employees are super nice and helpful ( Such is the case in BOTH stores, Burlingame & Campbell) Last week I tried on a romper at the Campbell store but needed a bigger size. One of the lovely ladies offered to call the Mt. View for my size and have it shipped to the Campbell store. She assured me I wouldnt be obligated to purchase if I didnt like it. Sure enough, yesterday I received a phone call that my romper was on hold and would be held for a few days. Needless to say, I loved the romper and walked out with ANOTHER adorable dress. Things I Love About Therapy: *The collection of odd and adorable things for sale- the first time I walked in here, the shopaholic in me had an orgasm. They have a vast array of stuff like cardboard deer heads that you put over your fireplace, hilarious books like "Why Is Daddy in a Dress?", embroidered pillows, funny magnets, handbags, shoes (from Jeffrey Campbell's to TOMS) vintage-inspired dresses, cardigans and a quirky jewelry section featuring jeweled parrot rings, tiny toilet (yes, toilet) pendants, and unique earrings you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere. *The customer service. Seriously, the girls here should be given some sort of nice person award. They always greet me when I walk in, help me out if I'm looking for something, and make genuine compliments on whatever I'm wearing that day. They don't hover like crazy, which is awesome because I get claustrophobic. *They take American Express. Halle-freaking-lujah. You wouldn't believe how many places I've been to that don't take Amex because of the merchant fee involved. *The location. I love Orchard Valley, I love 23 Skidoo. Heck! I love downtown Campbell as a whole. And I live close by, so that's a plus. *The name. I love seeing the horrified and puzzled looks I get when someone asks me where I get my clothes or jewelry and I give them my answer. The Not-So-Good Aspects of Therapy: *The mens' section is limited. *Their clothing brands cater to thin people. If you have a bit of meat on your bones like me, finding something that fits to a "t" can be a challenge sometimes. But I don't blame the store as much as I blame the clothing brands. *Hella bank. Seriously, the stuff here can be majorly expensive but in my personal opinion, is worth it because they don't skimp on quality like some major retailers *cough* Urban Outfitters *cough*. My cousin told me about this place many moons ago, but I just recently had the opportunity to go in (first to the Mountain View location, and then the Campbell location) I wish I would have heeded her advice sooner, they have the cutest stuff! I got a bunch of novelty items for both home and office (coasters, notepad, magnets, Moleskine notebooks), and they are pretty reasonably priced for a boutique shop (there are some pricey items but you get what you pay for). I think this may be my favorite store in Campbell. The customer service is great, selection is awesome and the price range varies so you can find something to fit pretty much any budget. They keep up on trends but carry much more than the latest craze. I found so many cute tops for work and going out and tons of dresses. Merchandise is always changing so every time you go in, there will be something new. The girls working there are super helpful without being pushy. They also give great advice for what would look good on you. One of the best things is that they share inventory with the other stores in the bay area so if you don't see your size or the color you like, they can order it for you. read more

I bought a hobo bag, got it home, and decided I didn't like it because it was not adjustable. I went to take it back and I was informed that I am not able to return. I was not told this when I bought the bag and I had it for less than 2 weeks with all the tags still on. What poor customer service. On this trip I saw a small sign with this return policy on it. Your will power means nothing here. I came here late on Friday night with a friend who wanted to buy a dress for her bridal shower this weekend. I had ZERO intention of buying anything for myself...silly me. First and best of all, their Women's selection is arranged by color rather than designer...absolute genius! It really struck a cord with me as my family seems to suffer from various degrees of OCD. You can peruse the Red rack, the Blue Rack then mosey on over the the Neutrals rack. My heart raced! I ended up in the dressing room with armfuls of fun stuff to try on. Dresses, skirts, tops and more, all under $100 each! Plus, they also have a great accessories collection with designers like Erica Weiner for jewelry and Goorin Bros hats! The Women's selections were very similar to Pink Stripes in Santana Row, just more of it with a more laid back atmosphere. Ladies, if you've dragged your poor, unsuspecting BF or Hubby here, they can entertain themselves with their section of odd little toys and knick-knacks (kind of like at Urban) or pick up a little something for themselves in the smaller Men's section. The staff that night was super helpful and friendly, and they're open until 10:30! It's ironic that this place is called "Therapy" because you can easily need credit card rehab if you shop here too often. I'll definitely have to check out the MV location soon. read more

Just as friendly as it's Mountain View counterpart. I love this place. There's a small section just for guys, which is good enough for me since I'm not a big shopaholic in the first place. Has your basic clothing and accessories, but most importantly, TOMS. I've been on the TOMS hype for a while now, with Botas and Cordones, but never had a chance to get myself the classics. Well today, I finally copped a pair. 44 bucks + tax, beats the online shipping I paid for my two pairs x_x. Customer service here is A+ class, girl who worked here, I believe her name is Lauren, helped me out immensely, while I was awkwardly trying to figure out where to place my shoe box so I can try on some clothes. They're really helpful and genuinely nice. I'd recommend this place for anyone who's going with their girlfriend, or going to shop for women's clothing, or just walking around downtown Campbell for a quick gander. After getting an e-mail from yelp.com yesterday with this place listed, I decided to give this place a try today to have some fun with the free time I had to myself (which is indeed therapeutic) I bought a gold clutch (for the upcoming holiday parties), a card, and mints here earlier. Total spending = $42.71, which is not expensive but not cheap either (aka the prices are moderate - hey, it is a boutique store). It was my first time in the store and I browsed around for a good hour and a half before I made my purchases (it's one of those places where it's just fun to look). They apparently have other stores around the bay area (I was told at the cash register that they just opened a new one in North Beach so this store was not as fully stocked at the moment). So I would like to go to the other ones too one of these days. One of things I liked about Therapy (like many of the other boutique shops I like) is that they have a lot of eco-friendly products that are also chic-looking. And yes, as I've read in a lot of the other reviews here on Therapy, the staff are friendly but not overly pushy, helpful instead of annoying. And I thought it was cute when I saw the sign that read something along the lines of "ask for a therapist to find a different shoe size." read more

I love everything it has to offer from cool pillows to perfect cards- children's gifts and items- Watches and sunglasses- clothing and shoes for men and women along with killer jewelry l, home decor and amazing gift ideas. I always get my candles and cards from here and try to buy any gift for a birthday here as well. The only thing I am not always a fan of is the mark up on prices sometimes. Great eclectic selection. Maybe a few time a month hehe Clothes are sorted by color and I found myself looking at every item on a hanger just to see what it was and the price tag. Their items are all great, nice fabrics, more unique then trendy, awesome cuts and style. The prices are just like the third bowl of porridge Goldilocks ate, just right. The jewlery has a simple urban elegance that also is not overpriced. I saw plenty of gold plated earrings under $30 I bought a scarf for under $20. You can easily spend $100 on a well accesorized outfit. The staff are happy faced girls who don't act like they just work for the discount. They actually provide customer service! This is one of my favorite shops to stop in when I'm in downtown Campbell. They have a lot of fun items as well as some really nice clothing. My husband could spend days in here looking through all the chatchees. You can find things here that you can't find anywhere else. Customer service is always great. Ok, I'm knocking off two star to reflect the poor quality of some of the clothing Therapy carries. One of the dresses I bought here started to fall apart the second time I wore it. Specifically, a five inch rip developed along the side of the dress and the seam on the other side looks as if it will pull apart soon too.
