Amethyst house is one of my favorite places to come by and peruse. Each Crystal is handpicked by the owner and you can really see the care that goes into the choices. The presentation of the whole store is laid out beautifully. Every time I come there, I discover a new brand of tarot deck, art or jewelry. That is absolutely stunning. If I had all the money in the world, I would purchase everything because each item has been so carefully selected and curated. My work schedule doesn't allow me to stop by as often as I would like, but I hope to attend some more of the classes or events that they have. I've been now three times to Amethyst House. Two times were for reiki treatments with Elizabeth and one time just to buy crystals at the shop. Don't be fooled by the small size, the shop has an excellent variety of all kinds of crystals, jewelry, divination cards, books, etc. all of which I found to be high quality. I like that they have some of the divination decks displayed so you can see them before purchasing. Elizabeth is very knowledgeable and helpful in providing guidance and you can tell she puts a lot of love into the shop with her attention to detail - the vibe is very nice. Both reiki sessions I had were very helpful in clearing some dense energy and getting me through difficult times. I highly recommend the signature treatment where she uses a combination of reiki healing touch, aroma- and sound therapy. Elizabeth's presence enabled me to be vulnerable in sharing what I felt was in need of healing. She not only provided an empathetic ear but also practical and intuitively guided advice. During the session I felt energy moving through me as well as much lighter and less tension during and after the session. The messages from her guides brought me to tears (in a good way). I find Elizabeth to be very skilled, of high integrity, conscientious and trustworthy. I've come to Amethyst House twice now and I absolutely love it. I've seen Elizabeth twice for Traditional Usui Reiki and she's phenomenal. I add the crystal healing to my sessions and the crystals that Elizabeth has picked out on both occasions using just her intuition have perfectly matched up to what's been going on in my life prior to seeing her. After my sessions I feel very calm and definitely feel like my energy system is in a better place than when I walked in. It's worth it if you've always wondered about healing services and crystals. I'm so happy I found this little cute space! I've had three sessions and all have been super informative and relaxing. I've done the signature healing as well as the energy facial. I felt lighter and happier each time I've left. Their sound baths are top notch. They have this amazing spray that's lavender and orange scent that they spray during the sessions and I bought some to spray on my face when I want to feel extra relaxed and happy. I visited for the first time today. Elizabeth (one of the owners) greeted me immediately as I entered her beautiful space. She is gracious and very knowledgeable. The space is clean, comfortable and beautiful. Elizabeth was very accommodating throughout my visit. She answered questions and never made me feel rushed. For reiki healing, I've met with Elizabeth several times and am in awe of her ability to connect with my energy, offer deep insight into my journey, and help me heal some wounds that were keeping me very stuck for years. Before visiting Elizabeth, I had tried it all (no exaggeration!) and was about to give up, thinking that I was one of those people who was only going to be able to go just so far and not really ever truly heal from past traumas. Boy did Elizabeth prove me wrong (in a beautiful way)! And what's even more amazing is that she was able to do so in just 3-4 sessions. Then she told me I had graduated and only needed to return when I felt like I needed a tune-up. From the moment I walked into the Amethyst House, it made me stop in my tracks and take it all in. The energy is amazing - so light and beautiful. They've created such a charming, special, sacred, light-filled, healing space. I could actually "feel" a warm loving energy filling the space, and it brought tears to my eyes. Elizabeth Black is one of two owners and a very gifted healer. She graciously showed me around her new healing space. I had the pleasure of having Elizabeth as my healer for my session, and it was a very transformative experience. I came in wanting to work on my throat chakra as well as completing my experiential learning assignment for my Energy Medicine course. Right when I walked in, I was greeted by Elizabeth, and she offered me a cup of tea made with a blend targeted towards the throat chakra. I was surprised because I hadn't mentioned anything so far, but she hit it right on the nail. Since it was my first time visiting, I booked a signature healing experience and filled out an intake form. We spent about half of the session in conversation as I asked questions about how to protect one's biofield. This led to some deep, contemplative questions about where I wanted to go in the future and the decisions that I had to make that truly aligned with my purpose. I even learned that I had fairly clean energy and a quiet frequency that made great attributes to being a healer. Lots to think about moving forward. For the remainder of the session, I received an introductory Reiki session that included the use of direct touch, aromatherapy, Tibetan singing bowls, and crystal bowls. The pain that I had in my left shoulder and occasional aches that I had in my knees had dissipated after the session. I had felt so relaxed and grounded after the session, and I hadn't felt this state of quietness and peace in my body since the end of April 2022. I also ended up purchasing their aromatherapy mist set as they make their own special blends, and the packaging is environmentally friendly and cute! I've had two Reiki sessions at the Amethyst House and I highly recommend that you try it out. I opted for the "The Signature Healing Experience by Amethyst House - 80 minutes" with Elizabeth. This was my first experience with Reiki. I had a minor out-patient procedure coming up and I wanted to reduce my anxiety. Rationally, I wasn't too fearful of the procedure but I didn't trust my body to not react negatively. In the past I have had stress full experiences post procedure with my body going into shock and blood pressure dropping to very low values. The out-patient procedure went very well and my anxiety greatly lowered and my trust in my body's response to uncomfortable situations restored. The Reiki sessions were very relaxing and stimulating at the same time. I did feel calming effects during the session, especially with the bowls which I loved, but what was great and not expected was how much more centered I felt in the days following with improved memory. There is a boutique with beautiful crystals, jewelry and other items. I plan to come back to visit the shop for gifts when I have more time. I also think a Reiki session would make a great gift for that special person who is hard to buy for. I plan to return soon. read more

I have wanted to try Reiki and sound healing for a long time - this was my first experience with anything like this. I had Liz for the Signature Energy Facial and Elizabeth for the Signature Healing Experience and both made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire service. They took the time to talk to me about what I was hoping to accomplish with the service and tailored the sessions around our conversations. From start to finish, it was incredible. It was as if they hit a refresh button on my soul and I felt a sense of relief and new found confidence in certain areas of my life. It's hard to describe the whole-body and mind feeling after the sessions, but it was noticeable for at least a week after receiving the service. Elizabeth Black at Amethyst House is one of the good ones!! She is one of the most caring and kind individuals I personally have ever met. She has a great business sense and is extremely professional and kind all at the same time. When I first went to get a reading from her she was extremely welcoming. It was one of the best, and one of the most accurate reading's I have gotten from any psychic or intuitive in the metaphysical community. When I found out that she was also a life coach I jumped at the chance to work with her. She caters the sessions to what the client needs and then crafts a wonderful and no pressure atmosphere. I just had my very first experience with Reiki from Elizabeth and Liz. I felt in such good hands and I will definitely be back for future sessions. I attended the Healing Sound Baths this evening. From the moment I entered the room I felt a sense of calm and was able to fully relax and take in the healing effects of the music that Liz and Elizabeth performed for the next hour.
