I would not recommend Chris. He had nothing of substance to relay when I asked a few questions. I don't believe he's genuine at all. Don't waste you money. read more

She was on a TV program, a talk show some time ago. "TV psychic had made completely wrong and, often, dangerously insensitive, predictions, including several to the families of missing people". One infamous prediction happened during a 2004 appearance on The Montel Williams Show, when Browne told Louwanna Miller that her missing daughter, Amanda Berry, was "not alive," explaining to the distraught mother, "Your daughter's not the kind who wouldn't call. Berry was found alive in 2013 after she escaped years of captivity by Ariel Castro. Unfortunately, Miller had passed away in 2005, believing Browne "98 per cent" that her daughter was dead. The medium later defended her incorrect prediction, saying, "Only God is right all the time". The headline on the Internet states "Psychic Sylvia Browne Goes Viral as Her Worst Predictions Resurface Online". You are terrible people; taking peoples money on this false prophet". read more

I waited 6 months for Sylvia's call. she was completely wrong about so many things and right about none. I told her errors and she just made something up in the moment. I've read her books before the reading like most of you. $500 for a scam. read more

Firstly, Chris was over an hour late calling me. No excuse for that. He was very rude and seemed annoyed to be giving a reading. He didnt say a single thing that was helpful or insightful. I ended the call early bc he sucked so much. I want my money back and would NOT recommend him. Dont waste your money!!! read more

I give Chris Dufresne 1 star.. I have Depression with Bipolar.. I am not schizophrenic.. I developed Low sodium. Levels from anti depressants and mood stabilizers and was hospitalized 2x.. I had to stop all anti-depressants and mood stabilizers permanently for safety reasons. These meds became life threatening to me. I have seen many many psychiatrists to see if maybe there was a drug to help my depression and moods ..There is not.. I can take meds like Gabapentin for sleep or clonazepam for anxiety. The question that I asked Chris was if there was someone or some thing in my room at night because I felt something tap my foot and that I feel something hit my foot in a sleep state and I heard things move around in a plastic container of misc. things I had on my bed.. He came off rude towards me .. He said I needed to see a doctor .. to be honest and tell the doctor what I said to him.. as if I were gonna lie..to let him give me a medication.. First off he was very vague.. Didn't say what type of doctor and for what reason. He said and take the med they give you. First of all he couldn't see in his mind that I have seen many mds. Psyche and medical.. He also couldn't see as a psychic that I cannot take meds because of a problem with certain drugs I need to treat Depression and moods.. He also couldn't see that I have well documented records with many Psych and Medical doctors. He spoke to me as if I have not seen any md's at all and that I have not been treated at all.. read more

Ms.Browne and her son were wrong on my readings(predictions) They told me I would have good health,I ended up with multiple sclerosis. My reiationship was good,my girlfriend and I parted in a few months. I worked for a great company,I was laid off in three months. This cost me $1000.00 for the reading by Sylvia then $700.00 by her son. read more

Conflicting information. Wouldn't recommend. I've sent in numerous questions and gotten responses that are way off. *Keep in mind that everything is just a probability of something happening* read more

Loved spending time with Sylvia when she was here with us. And watched as Chris joined her to read for us. I Love hearing from Chris now as he is bring his son and daughter into the fold. Years and years of interactions with the Brown Family and always happy with my meetings. Going to lectures, classes and readings with Sylvia. More recently meetings with her son Chris. Informations was right on the mark and accurate. Can't get more real and grounded then this. read more

Don't waste your time! I waited 2 YEARS for a $700 reading and Chris was completely wrong about every aspect of my life. He didn't read me at all, and aside from that the 4 predictions he gave never passed. He was also rude and kind of cold like I was bothering him. I hung up the phone and balled my eyes out because I was so let down and caught off guard. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!! read more

R.I.P Sylvia brown. you were a great inspiration throughout my life.. Now you are one of our guardian angels watching over us. May you rest in peace read more

He was not reading me! I waited for this opportunity for years and what a let down. I asked a question first and I have COPD and CHF and he told me I would be waitressing. Then he told me, during the live reading, that I had no health issues. It was all a waste of money and such a big disappointment. read more

Had a "reading" by Chris. Nothing true. On the tape there was so much background noise from whatever he was doing (seriously-sounded like housework!! Definitely not concentrating on me!) it was distracting. I went back through the tape and pure bunk. Requested money back-was ignored so many times I finally gave up. read more

Chris is amazing and has really created an identity that would make his mother the famous Sylvia Browne happy. His readings are amazing and he gives alot of insight and at the end you leave with sense of joy and peace to all your questions. Thanks again for a lifetime experience that will not be forgotten. read more

Chris was amazing! My first reading and he was very informative and really made me feel comfort in my past lives and my current life. What an amazing gift to be able to share with so many! Thank you read more

My brother was friends with Sylvia's son in high school through their mid 20s (not sure if they are still friends). Sylvia didn't like my brother; she thought he was a bad influence, which may have been true. At a party, she was telling people various things that would happen to them in their lives - stuff like they would fall in love soon, they would have a large family, they would have a satisfying career, etc. She told my brother his infant son would die young. What kind of horrible person would say something like that? read more

I have had 5 readings in 30 years. 3 from Sylvia and 2 from Chris. I am so grateful to both of them! They are LIFETIME READINGS and everything doesn't happen necessarily in the next two years. Even Sylvia said the timing can be difficult. Things she read for me at 28 did happen just years later and she was correct. Chris is off the charts AMAZING! I will write again to confirm a couple things later. read more

I had a reading with Sylvia in 2004 after becoming a Study Group Coordinator for her on the east coast. This was the height of her Monte Williams Show days. Instead of a traditional reading, she and I talked on the phone for over and hour. I was only 18 at the time, but she was surprised at my level of knowledge regarding her transcripts and Novus Spiritus (her church). She seemed to be pretty genuinely interested in my life and our conversation was light and fun. Two weeks or so after our phone call I arrived home one afternoon to a box on my doorstep. Inside was a book on angels (by an Irish artist and poet) and a long handwritten note from Sylvia. A few years ago (after her death) I had it framed and read it a lot for encouragement. Although I've never had a reading with Chris, I have spoke to him a few times over social media and he seemed very pleasant and down to earth. I love this family and miss Sylvia deeply. read more

I had a reading with Sylvia Browne in 1999. Every single thing she told me was wrong. Every. Single. Thing. Now that takes talent! How can anyone get it all wrong all of the time. I mean, even if you pull something out of a hat, you're bound to hit on something. But no. I paid $500 for a half hour with her and got nothing out of it. Just in the last year I found the website www.stopsylvia.com and found out that my experience is quite typical. I've been to real psychics who gave accurate readings, but Sylvia Browne isn't one of them. She was a successful con artist. And maybe a sociopath for her ability to be so cruel to parents with missing children. read more

What an incredible family this is and how kind hearted they are in all that they do. The most selfless people I've ever met.

I made a $250 appointment with Chris Dufrense, and when I called to make the appointment I specifically asked his offices if I could ask him to tell me something about myself that he couldn't otherwise know. His offices said of course. I'm surprised I had the foresight to ask that. Pun intended. No matter. This man is in the business of telling the future and knowing things he shouldn't know. He told me that sounded like a test question and that he is here to help people and HUNG UP on me. He has absolutely no idea what it means to help people if he can't even perform his own job function. Clearly Chris is not in the business of helping people when he all but reached through the phone and slapped me across the face. He is disagreeable, arrogant and immodest. If he can't do so little as to prove himself by telling me what I ate for breakfast or something else a psychic should be able to tell you, then I am pretty sure he does not have 'the gift'. The only gift he has is that of being a horse's backside. I'm glad I saved myself the $250. Don't waste your money. read more

Many years ago I saw Sylvia Brown numerous times for readings. I have felt a lot of shame because I spent so much money and let Sylvia string me along when she told me I could work for her. She suggested I travel to Santa Fe New Mexico because she was thinking about opening a branch of her services there, and that I should see the area and let her know how I felt. She told me to make an appointment with her after I returned and she would tell me what I would be doing for her. Previously she had promised me that no matter where that I would have a paid job with her (I have it on tape). When I went for the appointment in Campbell, I was met by her business manager. She said Sylvia was out on an interview and could not see me, and that Sylvia could not hire me because of "insurance" reasons. I stunned and humiliated. On my way out of the office Sylvia walked in, saw me, had a very cold look on her face, and just dismissed me. Prior to all this I would stick up for Sylvia when people would say Sylvia was a fake or a fraud. I learned a harsh lesson. I was terribly disillusioned, very disappointed, and felt that I had been so gullible. read more

This is supposed to be 1 of the most famous psychics in the US...for anyone out there that is interested in getting a reading from Chris Dufresne, Sylvia Browne's son, I will tell you my experience for 15 minutes and $250.00 later... He was an ego driven individual that has absolutely no idea how to be personable if it hit him in the head. He is in the business of telling people their future, and after he does the quickest run thru, he asks if you have any other questions. If you ask a question that is contrary to what you have just been told, he will literally reach thru the phone and slap your hand, and say that he just told you the answer, so why are you asking him? For example, he had told me that I would be moving next year, and I told him that I would be moving sooner than that..and his response was like a little baby...I just told you that you won't be moving til next year. It doesn't leave a warm and fuzzy feeling in your heart, and so why ask any more questions that would go against what he had already proclaimed. If anyone has ever talked to a psychic before...they do not act like that..they are willing to discuss, and they are not GO_. When I complained about his attitude and much more...his employer..probably the staff attorney or complaint dept. was no nicer or helpful, as I was asking for my money back. If his mother...The famous Sylvia Browne..who charges $695.00 an hour...heard that her son had such a bad attitude, I would think she would be interested to know that. So I would like to save anyone else out there looking for a famous psychic assuming that you will get what you pay for...the trouble of wasting their money on Chris. Oh yes...I was told that whatever he said to me was untrue..to let them know...so I told them I would be calling back in a few months after I moved for my money back. read more

I've seen Sylvia and Chris and both are excellent! Sadly, Sylvia will be greatly missed by the masses. I can only speak from experience which is to say that both hit upon things no one could ever know. Their predictions were and continue to be true. Chris has a lot of talent and I will see him again in the future. What I love about them is that they are doing what they are meant to do, regardless of the criticism. That takes a thick skin but when it's your life path, you do it. I applaud that. No one is 100 percent right all of the time so I refuse to hold them to that standard. Both of my readings were just spot on though and I'm a believer! read more

I've had several readings with Chris and he was right on the money about all but one thing! He was friendly, genuine and down to earth. I believe in him and his amazing gift. It's unfortunate that skeptical people feel they must ask silly "test questions" . He's the real deal people and he helped me at a time in my life when I really needed it!! Thank you Chris! God bless you and your family! read more

I had a reading with Sylvia many years ago and she convinced me that it was just a matter of time until a man I had broken up with would be back in my life, marry me and I would have his child.........never happened and she strung me along with false hope for a full year before and after the breakup. When I asked for a partial refund on the misleading readings, one of her workers told me: "You are an irritant. We will send you only half of your last reading and don't contact Sylvia ever again." I must have spent a few thousand dollars during those two years getting follow up readings on the man who never came back into my life. Instead of being psychic enough to tell me he wasn't coming back and that he wasn't right for me anyway, she would tell me "Oh, it's just a timing thing....he will absolutely be back." Also, she could sense health issues but not what could be done to heal them.......not very helpful to be told you have a condition somewhere and a guess as to what it might be with no advice on what to do for it. read more

My reading with Chris was an amazing experience. He provided a lot of very useful information. He gives you options on how you would like your reading to go. He talked a while, then I was provided with plenty of time to ask all my questions. I found Chris to be very warm and friendly, and he was easy to talk to. It almost felt like I was talking to a good friend who knew me very well, even though I had never done this before. I did not have any major issues to ask about, just wanted to make sure my life was on the right track. Chris assured me it was, and even said that there was no need for me to consult with psychics again, him included. So clearly he is not in this just for the money. Yes, they do have to charge for this service. They have a business to run and this is how they pay for expenses. They offer specials every now and then so it can be very affordable. Some of the reviews on here are rather negative, but my experience was just the opposite. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone considering having a reading. read more

I read many of Sylvia Browne's books, but I was totally against her book on merging. I think that is equivalent to illegal rape. I could understand a boyfriend, a spouse, someone possibly very close(maybe), and only if face to face verbal permissions, otherwise, no. I was unsure whether she said the dead can do this or other species (been awhile since I read her books). I could see the capability, actually nothing against that, but then we all must be able to have the mental abilities to prevent that illegal penetration, or others abusing another in forcing this or allowing this of a victim. I'm unsure whether she,(Sylvia) was for this or against this, or rather stating this. The mental side effects long term and short term could be atrocious for some if they are against that being done to them, seeing it as a violation to their body. Someone could recover, but nobody expects someone have to forget a act of violence as such. Plus, I can only imagine what that would do to the brain functions. Alzheimer's and other brain issues could arise because of such "merging". I can only hope I would have the mental abilities to prevent such, and others too! I did think it was funny on one show Sylvia Browne said she was going to come back after dying and merge with Mon tel W, funny. read more
