I give Chris Dufresne 1 star.. I have Depression with Bipolar.. I am not schizophrenic.. I developed Low sodium. Levels from anti depressants and mood stabilizers and was hospitalized 2x.. I had to stop all anti-depressants and mood stabilizers permanently for safety reasons. These meds became life threatening to me. I have seen many many psychiatrists to see if maybe there was a drug to help my depression and moods ..There is not.. I can take meds like Gabapentin for sleep or clonazepam for anxiety. The question that I asked Chris was if there was someone or some thing in my room at night because I felt something tap my foot and that I feel something hit my foot in a sleep state and I heard things move around in a plastic container of misc. things I had on my bed.. He came off rude towards me .. He said I needed to see a doctor .. to be honest and tell the doctor what I said to him.. as if I were gonna lie..to let him give me a medication.. First off he was very vague.. Didn't say what type of doctor and for what reason. He said and take the med they give you. First of all he couldn't see in his mind that I have seen many mds. Psyche and medical..​ He also couldn't see as a psychic that I cannot take meds because of a problem with certain drugs I need to treat Depression and moods.. I had a reading with Sylvia in 2004 after becoming a Study Group Coordinator for her on the east coast. This was the height of her Monte Williams Show days. Instead of a traditional reading, she and I talked on the phone for over and hour. I was only 18 at the time, but she was surprised at my level of knowledge regarding her transcripts and Novus Spiritus (her church). She seemed to be pretty genuinely interested in my life and our conversation was light and fun. Two weeks or so after our phone call I arrived home one afternoon to a box on my doorstep. Inside was a book on angels (by an Irish artist and poet) and a long handwritten note from Sylvia. A few years ago (after her death) I had it framed and read it a lot for encouragement. I made a $250 appointment with Chris Dufrense, and when I called to make the appointment I specifically asked his offices if I could ask him to tell me something about myself that he couldn't otherwise know. His offices said of course. I'm surprised I had the foresight to ask that. Pun intended. No matter. This man is in the business of telling the future and knowing things he shouldn't know. He told me that sounded like a test question and that he is here to help people and HUNG UP on me. He has absolutely no idea what it means to help people if he can't even perform his own job function. Clearly Chris is not in the business of helping people when he all but reached through the phone and slapped me across the face. He is disagreeable, arrogant and immodest. If he can't do so little as to prove himself by telling me what I ate for breakfast or something else a psychic should be able to tell you, then I am pretty sure he does not have 'the gift'. Many years ago I saw Sylvia Brown numerous times for readings. I have felt a lot of shame because I spent so much money and let Sylvia string me along when she told me I could work for her. She suggested I travel to Santa Fe New Mexico because she was thinking about opening a branch of her services there, and that I should see the area and let her know how I felt. She told me to make an appointment with her after I returned and she would tell me what I would be doing for her. Previously she had promised me that no matter where that I would have a paid job with her (I have it on tape). When I went for the appointment in Campbell, I was met by her business manager. She said Sylvia was out on an interview and could not see me, and that Sylvia could not hire me because of "insurance" reasons. I stunned and humiliated. On my way out of the office Sylvia walked in, saw me, had a very cold look on her face, and just dismissed me. Prior to all this I would stick up for Sylvia when people would say Sylvia was a fake or a fraud. I learned a harsh lesson. He was an ego driven individual that has absolutely no idea how to be personable if it hit him in the head. He is in the business of telling people their future, and after he does the quickest run thru, he asks if you have any other questions. If you ask a question that is contrary to what you have just been told, he will literally reach thru the phone and slap your hand, and say that he just told you the answer, so why are you asking him? For example, he had told me that I would be moving next year, and I told him that I would be moving sooner than that..and his response was like a little baby...I just told you that you won't be moving til next year. It doesn't leave a warm and fuzzy feeling in your heart, and so why ask any more questions that would go against what he had already proclaimed. If anyone has ever talked to a psychic before...they do not act like that..they are willing to discuss, and they are not GO_. When I complained about his attitude and much more...his employer..probably the staff attorney or complaint dept. was no nicer or helpful, as I was asking for my money back. If his mother...The famous Sylvia Browne..who charges $695.00 an hour...heard that her son had such a bad attitude, I would think she would be interested to know that. So I would like to save anyone else out there looking for a famous psychic assuming that you will get what you pay for...the trouble of wasting their money on Chris. I've seen Sylvia and Chris and both are excellent! Sadly, Sylvia will be greatly missed by the masses. I can only speak from experience which is to say that both hit upon things no one could ever know. Their predictions were and continue to be true. Chris has a lot of talent and I will see him again in the future. What I love about them is that they are doing what they are meant to do, regardless of the criticism. That takes a thick skin but when it's your life path, you do it. I applaud that. No one is 100 percent right all of the time so I refuse to hold them to that standard. I had a reading with Sylvia many years ago and she convinced me that it was just a matter of time until a man I had broken up with would be back in my life, marry me and I would have his child.........never happened and she strung me along with false hope for a full year before and after the breakup. When I asked for a partial refund on the misleading readings, one of her workers told me: "You are an irritant. We will send you only half of your last reading and don't contact Sylvia ever again." I must have spent a few thousand dollars during those two years getting follow up readings on the man who never came back into my life. Instead of being psychic enough to tell me he wasn't coming back and that he wasn't right for me anyway, she would tell me "Oh, it's just a timing thing....he will absolutely be back." Also, she could sense health issues but not what could be done to heal them.......not very helpful to be told you have a condition somewhere and a guess as to what it might be with no advice on what to do for it. read more

My reading with Chris was an amazing experience. He provided a lot of very useful information. He gives you options on how you would like your reading to go. He talked a while, then I was provided with plenty of time to ask all my questions. I found Chris to be very warm and friendly, and he was easy to talk to. It almost felt like I was talking to a good friend who knew me very well, even though I had never done this before. I did not have any major issues to ask about, just wanted to make sure my life was on the right track. Chris assured me it was, and even said that there was no need for me to consult with psychics again, him included. So clearly he is not in this just for the money. Yes, they do have to charge for this service. They have a business to run and this is how they pay for expenses. They offer specials every now and then so it can be very affordable. Some of the reviews on here are rather negative, but my experience was just the opposite. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone considering having a reading. read more

I read many of Sylvia Browne's books, but I was totally against her book on merging. I think that is equivalent to illegal rape. I could understand a boyfriend, a spouse, someone possibly very close(maybe), and only if face to face verbal permissions, otherwise, no. I was unsure whether she said the dead can do this or other species (been awhile since I read her books). I could see the capability, actually nothing against that, but then we all must be able to have the mental abilities to prevent that illegal penetration, or others abusing another in forcing this or allowing this of a victim. I'm unsure whether she,(Sylvia) was for this or against this, or rather stating this. The mental side effects long term and short term could be atrocious for some if they are against that being done to them, seeing it as a violation to their body. Someone could recover, but nobody expects someone have to forget a act of violence as such. Plus, I can only imagine what that would do to the brain functions. Alzheimer's and other brain issues could arise because of such "merging". I can only hope I would have the mental abilities to prevent such, and others too! I did think it was funny on one show Sylvia Browne said she was going to come back after dying and merge with Mon tel W, funny. read more
