They are so terrible and not good to loyal customers. Sad performance. I used to shop there daily but never ever again.

A maintenance drug that I cannot miss was on back order at my regular pharmacy and had been for close to 2 weeks with no accurate updates in sight and goal posts on the expected refill dates continually being moved. I was going to be out of luck, and out of pills, in a few days. Receiving no further help whatsoever from my regular pharmacy I was told to look elsewhere. Like it was a limited edition sneaker instead of life-saving medication. Thus began the second stage of this saga. One CVS I called did not have my medication in stock but did quite helpfully refer me to the CVS on Lexington Street which they explained did. After calling and leaving a message I decided to waste no further time and went in person late in the day to share my predicament. When I say rays of sunlight veritably lit up the pharmacy desk despite dusk fast approaching I am not exaggerating. A very special shout out to Omar, the pharmacist on call, who helped me from the moment I arrived in mild distress to the moment I left with my precious cargo in tow. Despite what I'm sure was a hectic day for him as well, he took the time to listen to me, immediately confirmed that the medication was in stock and offered several solutions to getting the prescription transferred over so that I could have my meds by no later than the next day. He was kind, patient, professional and invested in my well-being as a patient. The entire team working that night was a study in caring and professionalism honestly. After a very worrying day which began with my concerns being ignored or downplayed, thanks to Omar and the team at the CVS on Lexington Street I have the meds I need and some small faith in humanity restored. So thank you again!

Generally staffed by a single overworked pharmacist and a bunch of techs , they must pay horribly , they all seem miserable and some of them are quite difficult to understand or explain things to, speaking in defeated mumbles and dejected exhaustion. I mean, what is this whole system *for* if not for convenience, etc? Surely there must be a toggle somewhere that could be flipped so I wouldn't have to call every time to ... what? confirm that I'm still me? have the same DNA? The voicemail system has been changed, but not improved in any way. You still can't simply say "speak to the pharmacy" ... you have to go through several steps with the annoying voice. Just doing its job to remind the customer that, no, we'd really rather not deal with you at all, so -- please talk to the robot.

The robot said my rx would be ready today after 11 a.m. When I got there this bitchy clerk said the order was invalid as my doctor was no longer there. As the doctor is a resident, he is under contract till 7/25, so she or some other jerk must've screwed up. The new robot is so awful (a lot of "i didnt get that" or "let's try this") that it drives more patients to a live person, but as the pharm is understaffed you can't get through. You're on hold five, ten minutes then the phone rings twenty-six times then you're put back on hold./ I went bullshit in that store, threatened to sue, and that scared the bitchy clerk into processing the rx. But no more, I'm gonna switch to CVS. Less convenient locale, and I've heard bad things about them, but it's worth a shot.

Welp- I'm giving one star as a congratulations for finally deciding to 'officially' become a non-24…read morehour CVS. For years now, they've claimed to be 24 hours only to show up and be walking in just to have an employee run over and lock you out, giving you a shrug and "we're closed, no staff" ‍. Super inconvenient, and even worse if you are sick and trying to get some NyQuil at 2 AM after tossing and turning with a cold for 4 hours. It's almost cruel if you've been in that position, or worse with a sick little one. Looks like hours were updated here on Yelp, but the big CVS sign out front still says 24/7, same with some GPS systems and browsers (and same with the local people who have known it to be 24 hours for their whole lives!). So just a warning, if you need a 24 hour CVS, I think Watertown is the closest option (depending on where you live). I guess it's not a bad thing they made this decision because now I have no reason to go here (I only ever went late night out of necessity and convenience being 24/7). Still understaffed as ever, still has the one employee who follows me around the whole time I'm there (as I sing my remix, "every step I take, every breath I take, you'll be watching meeee" in my head), but when I actually need help, god forbid he comes over without me begging him! He'll try to tell me "you need to come to the counter to check out the machine broken" when it's clearly not and that's not the issue I'm having...I've literally had to ask THREE times for him to just please come help me when I put my item on the scale bagging area too quickly, not quick enough, etc and just need an employee override code to finish my purchase. If you're going to follow me around and watch my every step, fine, but I at least expect you to anticipate when I'll need help & be there in a heartbeat- I can feel your breath on my neck as is! Oh, if I could give a half star, I'd give 1.5 stars JUST because of the super, super sweet older woman who has been working nights recently. She makes my day! And, she was nice enough to go out of her way to inform me of the stores new hours prior to the change, which happened quickly & with no notice. She's the real MVP. Keeps a positive attitude despite the walls caving in and the place burning to the ground- likely to catch her making an unexpectedly witty joke about it being 'lit' as the place goes up in flames around us. Will remind you to stay safe & have a great night but not to worry about her- the fires keeping her warm, anyway. She'll likely want to go through all your new coupons with you and show you which ones match up with a weekly ad deal once your done & you didn't hit "print" quick enough, so you end up with a 6 foot receipt, though, so in case of fire, take the receipt and run.

I stepped outside, made the appointment on my phone per their requirement, received a confirmation, and walked back in. The pharmacist told me that doing so was still considered a "walk-in" and that I would not be given a flu shot at all. Her tone was as if I had been trying to manipulate the system. Why have an appointment system at all if you don't plan to honor them? Furthermore, the same staff treated an older gentleman ahead of me rudely when he was trying to make sense of why they didn't have his prescription ready on-time. They offered little information and the poor guy was just trying to comprehend the situation. I've had positive interactions in other CVS stores, but the team here clearly should not be customer-facing.
