This place is ok for the price. They are extremely nice, but the food is so so. My daughters got chicken fingers and fries and there was a bone in my 3 year old chicken and the fries were limp..like they weren't cooked long enough. Terrible food-portions are big but quality is lacking. I ordered a skillet breakfast and when it arrived, it was on a platter to "protect" from the heat. After one bite of my cold food, I touched the skillet and realized it was not even hot. I was able to place the skillet on my palm without any trouble. The potatoes on the bottom of my skillet were clearly from the day before. My husband and son both had fries with their food and they were both undercooked. This place is not all that i order a pastrami combo. The pastrami was not cooked all the way. The fries was cold and salty. Nothing about this food was good. So i went here for lunch the other day with my sister and it's basically like a Toms Diner or like Primo Burger. Family Diners. It was pretty empty and clean. The people who worked there were kind. I got a steak and egg breakfast burrito and i was definitely not pleased. It had no flavor nor seasoning what so ever, BUT it was very well cooked! Everything was cooked to perfection and the ingredients seemed fresh so i guess i was just disappointed about the flavor. My sister got a chicken burrito and that tasted a bit better. I feel the name of the restaurant is very misleading though. When my sister told me about i thought i was really going to get The Workz! I thought my food was about to be a mouth full of mouth watering flavor town!!!!! But it definitely wasn't. I hyped myself up though, my fault. Dont go here unless you are getting a burrito or a burger got chicken here it was cooked on the outside frozen on the inside as I started eating it. The service is excellent and the food comes out fast enough to not make you impatient but not too fast to make question the cooking process. The restaurant is clean and the table lay out is well thought out. I've been several times and haven't been disappointed yet. Nothing on the menu will surprise you, but is made in a quality manner. The food here was perfect. I'm going to start with the omelette that I ordered. It was MASSIVE and very delicious. In every bite you can taste every topping and ingredient put into it. And the size of it was enough to fill you up for a long time. My husband ordered a burrito which was also very tasty, he enjoyed it a lot. DO NOT EAT HERE! I used to go there at least once a week to get the chicken fried steak and eggs because most of the other things I tried were very poor quality.They ALWAYS gave me a drink with it. Then one day, I didn't come at my usual time and they were busy. So I thought they forgot my drink. I grabbed the cup myself since they were placed on the edge of the counter for anyone to grab. I still needed a lid so I asked the same person who just sold me the meal for a lid and he gave it to me. Finally, I get my food, drive home, open the bag... and there's a very rude note written on my receipt accusing me of stealing and calling me broke and poor. I literally had NO idea it didn't come with a drink, and if it didn't, why did he give me a lid for the cup I supposedly stole!? No one deserves to be treated like that. This is not how business should be done, regardless of the areas cultural demographics. I felt VERY disrespected and I don't feel that the community should support such disgusting behavior. I'm an OIF Combat Veteran who fought for places like this to exist and when I am treated this way I feel like it was all for NOTHING.... This the 3rd time I been in this place. First time was a sit down eat order a wet burrito it was very good. The others was pick up orders and both had Asada fries it was ok. Thing that bothered me was the price. The menu that they hand out was at 5.99 if u go in the restaurant it's 9.99. If u going to make a pick up order they should tell you the price changes over the phone. Me being a chef working in the business for awhile now the Asada fries is not worth 10 bucks. I can give you ball park price how much it cost to make that between $3 to $4 make and add there profit cost no more then $8 out the door. Now that said costumer service is very good. I order the chocolate shake it was good. I know they trying to make more profits for a very new popular dish that I'm starting to see in different restaurants spots. I have been to this location a lot and tonight I was very disappointed in their customer service and their food. My daughter was visiting so we said let's take her to our favorite restaurant where the food is great and the customer service is welcoming Well tonight I can not say this the fries where not even cooked completely for all three plates we ordered fries. My daughter said I just want eat them my niece did not eat her either my husband took my fries back up to the counter and told them the fries were not cooked. They told him they would make news ones so we waited and waited for the fries so my husband got tired of waiting he went up to the counter and asked them for the fries and she said she will get them and then we waited again and then she finally brought them after I had already finished my chicken strips I could not believe they brought me in cooked fries again. Also I ordered tea and around 7 they were closing everything up I could not even get a refill of my tea. I know something was wrong tonight but I had to express how I was so disappointed into service on both the service and the food. I hope this doesn't continue. Kids have been bugging us to go here since my brother lives a couple blocks away and has taken my son there. (I live on the west side) I think they are expensive and the food sucked. Husband ordered 12 oz steak and eggs ($13.99) and the steak was smaller than the place we normally go to (Village Grill on Sierra hwy) where we pay $7.45. The whites for his over easy eggs weren't completely cooked and were sitting in what looked like water, and the hash browns had no taste. My daughter ordered the avocado burger, nice portion of avocado but the burger patty was super thin, she didn't like it and refused to finish it. I ordered the workz burger, my avocado was thicker than the two burger patties combined. Pretty sure the cheese was cheap Walmart cheese, because it never melted. Burger tastes like (and looked like) any run of the mill cheap crappy burger places like doublez, primos, Toms, and Alice's. Fries were soggy and tasted old. Son wasn't happy with the taste of his burger either. I think I'll stick with Village Grill, way better food and not expensive. The star is for large portions of avocado. read more

My girlfriend and I wanted to try something new so we came here. We ordered the pastrami sandwich, bacon cheese burger, and carne Asada fries. My burger was average it wasn't great but it wasn't nasty. The advertisements around town shows thick burger patties but the patty I got was thin. The layer of lettuce they put was thicker than the actual burger patty. The pastrami sandwich was soggy but still hard like the bun was stale. My girlfriend said the actual meat was flavored good. My girlfriend as upset with the sandwich she didn't even finish it. She ate my carne Asada fries. The Asada fries on the other hand were great! I would definitely order them again. That's probably the only thing I'm going to come back for. Over all I had a good experience but my girlfriend on the other hand was disappointed. unfortunately they don't clean the grill enough and oil sludge ends up in the burger (burnt oil flakes) it was fine the first week when they opened and when the grill was new but i do not enjoy the burnt taste it has now if they fixed this problem I would go here more often but not tell then. since it started happening I have not gone there... since it's not worth the headache and sinus problems i get from these burnt oil flakes read more

I've been twice to this place once the week it opened and then again about two weeks later. The first time in the place was great. The burgers had an amazing taste and the zucchini fries were amazing as well. You could really tell that this place was going to be quality. Second time around.....not so much. Sadly after they started getting a little busier it went down hill quickly. The zucchini fries looked like they were from a frozen bag which i am almost certain they were. The coating was sickening tasted like paper and it wasn't cooked all the way through. So you had nasty paper with raw zucchini. I had the Carne Asada Burrito with no sauce and it was ok. I expected so much more from them. Feel free to try them out but if it went down hill this quickly i can only imagine how bad it will be down the road. read more
