I'm writing this review, but really feel like I need to go back again to get a full experience…read more We went here over the holiday break because we haven't been here yet - and wanted to go out. I had been sick and Cooped up in the House. When we arrived, it was easy to find and the location is perfect. Parking is valet, or park on the street. We paid $8 to park in a lot nearby and walk. There is an awesome spiral staircase in the middle of the hotel, but you can only get to it from the 2nd floor. Or take the elevator to the 10th floor and you'll hear a bit of noise, walk towards it, and you're there. The bar/restaurant feel is amazing. It's simple, yet elegant and classy. You could come in casual wear and enjoy a drink with friends and watch a sports game (as they have TV's) or sit on the enclosed outdoor patio around one of 3 fire pits and sip on a crafted cocktail. I had an Irish Manhattan - and it was great. My husband got the pineapple mojito and it was wonderful as well. My friends ordered the tacos and said it was amazing. We didn't order food. Here are just some things to note: - Service is different here, it's the feel of a rooftop bar in NYC where the servers come around and get your order (just a lot smaller than the NYC rooftop bar scene. - You can order drinks directly at the bar if needed. - You can order food and drinks even in the fire pit area. - Drink prices range from $5 beers to $10-15 craft cocktails. Compared to the area, this isn't a bad price at all. - wine options were a little more pricey and slim on selections, but the options were great choices in my opinion. - the bar is kind of loud - I was screaming at my friend to talk - it wasn't a club or loud music vibe, it's just people were enjoying themselves. So basically, if you are taking a group here to chat it up and don't want to scream, I would go elsewhere for that. (Say a group of friends that have catching up to do) - it is a great date location and there are couches and chairs side by side for the perfect one on one convo even if it is loud. - it opened in the fall so I can't comment on what it's like for the nice weather, but it was warm with the plastic enclosed walls for January. - the views are nice - but I would say Chattanooga's best views. This was probably the biggest disappointment for me. I was hoping for a little more. All in all - it's a great venue and a beautiful hotel. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The only reason I wouldn't go here, was if I was wanting to support more of a local bar scene. Other than that - it's a win win for craft cocktails and fire pits! :)

I really enjoyed this small, quirky little bar. It's located inside the Dwell Hotel. The…read moreatmosphere and mood they create with lighting and décor is fantastic! It's very retro chic. The place is very small. You come to a sitting room first with a couch and a couple chairs. That room also has 2 small tables with a handful of chairs. Through this room you come to the bar area which has a few tables and chairs scattered around a bar that sits about 8-10 people. The tap list is very small, only 2-3 taps if I recall correctly, but they had Ballast Point Sculpin on tap so I was very happy. The bottle list is much larger. However, the bread and butter here are the cocktails. I got to try a sip of several different ones from people in my party and none of them disappointed. The cherry on top of all of this were both bartenders were extremely courteous and efficient despite a packed house. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cocktail and I'll be back myself.

On walking in I discovered this was quite an interesting and eclectic spot for an adult beverage. They do have a very interesting selection of beverages and the patrons were even more interesting than the beverages. You get excellent service here along with the fantastic ambiance. This is a very unique and fascinating spot in Chattanooga to investigate as part of your adventures in the downtown area. Overall it is certainly one of the more unique places I have visited in the Chattanooga area.
