Not sure if I am at the right Vineyard but I find myself disagreeing with the low ratings this place got. I came here for lunch. I am visiting from out of town. I do not find the place dark and dingy but bright and airy. The decor is understated which is good. They don't try to stuff the place with antiques or fake memorabilia. The staff is always great and we love the vineyard steak! Once they messed up our order but were happy to fix the problem.

What a great small town restaurant! Amazing decor, great atmosphere! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a beautiful smiling hostess, and within 2 minutes I had my drink. They have a great selection of local wine from farmers fury that I highly recommend. As far as food, great selection! I judge restaurants on their biscuits and gravy as well as burgers, and I'm here to say, you won't find a better burger for the price. My waitress Ashley always greeted me with her beautiful smile, and she was very attentive! The way she organizes and carries herself should be an example in that workplace! Good job Ashley! I'm not sure what happened to this place. I used to go here to visit family about 10 years ago. I finally went back this past weekend and it was terrible. We walked in and it was completely empty. We had to wait a while until a server showed up. We thought the restaurant was closed. After she finally seated us, she disappeared once again. Don't get me wrong she was very polite when she did show up. But the fact that she kept disappearing was so weird considering we were the only people in there. Now onto the food. It was bland and tasted like it was just reheated. I ordered a skillet and it was clearly overheated. The middle was still cold and that's not the worst part. The food tasted sour and well, spoiled. The food is okay. Going through what I ordered and my experience. Waffle tasted like too much vanilla but was edible. Curly fries taste like jack in the box but more oily. Turkey avocado sandwich was good but I wouldn't order again, it looked better than it tasted. Western burger was average, not good but not terrible. Regular fries were okay, nothing special. We used to love coming here, but the place has really gone downhill. Food is still decent, but service is horrible. The most recent visit, our waitress didn't even offer to refill our empty drinks, and when we asked for refill, a waiter comes by and throws a pitcher downs without bothering to fill our glasses. I cannot comment on the food, we didn't get that far. Upon entry it took 6 minutes to be seated. And yes, I did note the time. Why? Because there were only 6 people in the restaurant at the time. So now that I have been seated the hostess asked what I would like to drink. I ordered a shot of whiskey in anticipation for a hearty meal. Needless to say, the server showed up (don't know his name) and again asked what I wanted to drink. Oh did I mention it took almost 15 minutes for him to show up? Also, did I mention there were only 6 people in the establishment? I'm sorry to digress here, so finally he shows up with my drink. So I asked him, why did it take 15 minutes, 21 minutes total since entering. He said it was only 5 minutes. There had to be a time-shift for me to be off so far. My meal was about $10 I think! They also had some mixed drink specials. I didn't have any but they sounded pretty good and they were all between $6-$8. The menu has a little bit of everything, and their diet plates are great for those looking for lighter options. I enjoy their breakfast brunch, especially the omelet station. It used to be hit and miss, they were good sometimes, bad sometimes, but its getting worse. This place is fantastic. The food is beyond good. I'm here for only three weeks of travel (business), and I've been going here atleast 3 times a week. I love the Prime Rib Sandwich. When I worked in Lemoore this was one of my favorite places, good american food. Not the fastest so make sure you have the time. But my favorite part was the homemade chocolate cake and a glass of there ICE cold mike. They have added a full bar so this makes dinner a little nicer.
