This is my favorite restaurant in the entire Modesto area! Their food is always amazing - we've done take out many times and it was just as good! The atmosphere is so cute! I loved dinning indoors when it was open, but I really am loving the patio area and being able to dine outside. The food is always amazing! It's so fresh and light. It was my first time here yesterday and I was blown away! We had the Brie, prosciutto, and fig jam appetizer. And I had the chorizo Mac and cheese for dinner. It was delicious! I hate to let the secret out about this little gem but there's a reason I gave it 5 stars. It's an upscale but comfortable wine bar with amazing appetizers. I'm sure all the food is great, but I shared two appetizers with a friend. Everything about the restaurant screams "perfect ambience" for a meet up. One of the highlights was our young and talented waitress! Not only did she know the menu and the drinks inside and out but she had a perfect personality for working in the service industry. Living in this area of the valley really limits us when it comes to restaurants that have both good food and look beautiful. Thankfully The Vine House does both exceptionally well. We went there for Sunday brunch recently and had we had the breakfast burrito, savory croissant sandwich and the bread pudding French toast. Everything was delicious and the decor and overall beauty of the restaurant just added to the ambiance. Service was a bit slow, however they were very nice and we assume they were short handed since the state just fully re-opened everything fairly recently. I ordered pick up/drive up. Friendly staff who hustled to go back and forth to restaurant and our car. The menu looked so good that it was hard to decide what to get my first time. This pic is the Mac and cheese with chorizo and a tartine with Brie, prosciutto and fig. The Mac and cheese was not too rich and delicious with salty spicy chorizo. Tartine was yum, can't wait to try the other one and their drinks too. I will be definitely going back and can't wait to try some of their drinks. Lucky to have a place like this in Ripon. Such a lovely restaurant in every way! The indoor and outdoor ambience is upscale yet rustic and the food and customer service is exceptional. For the two times we've been here, the menu was excellent: wholesome and nutritious yet hearty and satisfying. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our wine, meal and dessert which gave off a distinct fall vibe. Little touches like toasted nuts and a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds make it extra special. The pumpkin spice creme brûlée was divine. Vinehouse is becoming a fast favorite of ours.:-) read more
