What a tragic "Dumpster Fire" (Sh*t Show) of a business. I dropped off a package for delivery on 12/01/2025 with an expected delivery of 12/03/2025 on 12/02 I was still unable to locate the tracking number in the UPS tracki no system. I called UPS corporate who explained to me that the shipment had not been A.) called in for pick-up, B.) had not been dropped-off at an official UPS shipment warehouse, and C.) had not been picked-up by a UPS driver. I wanted to understand why the UPS store that i had shipped that package thru had taken no action. I called the store at 16:35 on Dec. 03. The girl who answered the phone put me on "hold" which lasted :28min until i decided to disconnect the call and call them back: The phone rang one time and went directly to a voicemail tree where I was unable to leave a message because the messaging system had not been set-up by the owner. If you have better options, and you do.. steer clear of this business. Trash begets trash. read more

They remodeled! This makes me so excited as this location really needed a makeover. Not only did it receive a makeover... they also added PO Boxes. They do have an Amazon device that allows you to scan your QR code, print the label and ship your package yourself allowing you to skip the line at the register for Amazon packages. The employees have actually been pretty nice to me each time I've gone in here. Like they actually enjoy their job. The service efficiency is so so. Sometimes they're quick and other times they're not but it's usually due to a customer needing extra assistance. I don't ever buy any packaging material at the store though because it's always so expensive. I do like where they're located as it's the closest one to me and I hope they don't ever move further south. read more

My father needed five packages shipped urgently. He asked me to find the closest one to his house, which was this particular UPS store. When I saw the 2.5 rating I told my father that maybe we should find a different store, but he was desperate because he needed to get to the airport. What is a pleasant surprise because this store is totally on it We arrived and the cashier was busy helping another person in front of us who was having issues with an email. They were not finding the email and the customer was getting a little bit tense and she stayed perfectly calm and they figured it out. She was super nice and friendly with us and by the time she got to us, we were in and out in less than two minutes She was courteous and polite. Please excuse the misspelling, but I believe her name is. nkim And I'm super happy that there is such a close UPS store to my father only 2 miles away from his new home in Sparks. Great convenient location lots of parking and as I said, the cashier today was incredibly helpful to the person in front of us and super quick with our needs I'm guessing someone had a beef with this location because I'm just not seeing this place as a 2.5 star location read more

I had a door tag to pick up a package at this location. I also had a couple of Amazon returns so it was convenient to be able to get both done at a single location. The kiosk to print Amazon return labels was out of service and the employee says it has been down for quite some time. I immediately noticed a pile of return packages behind the desk and not sorted and couldn't help but to hope my Amazon return didn't get lost. The employee wasn't that friendly and likely was overwhelmed with the volume of packages. The package I needed to pick up was also in a pile of other boxes. Service has gone downhill. I will be using the local FedEx down the street, whose boxes are about half the price, have phenomenal customer service, and will print labels for free. For Amazon, I am now going to the other local UPS store or Kohl's to have them ship my items. I've been going to your store for about 13 years and have never dreaded going in, but the lady with the pink eyebrow has changed that for me. The girl with the pink eyebrow is rude AF! She never wants to do her job, always telling everyone no; she isn't friendly or helpful and argues with customers. You walk in, and she is sitting on her butt while playing on her phone, all while the store is a mess. If someone else is working with her, it's a different story. Today, she told me and the other customers that they are no longer helping scan Amazon packages or prepaid labels and that we must do it ourselves at the self-help kiosk. She directs everyone to the self-service kiosk, even for regular packages. Behind me, four people are in the self-help line while she's standing there. The Amazon and self-service kiosk is a disaster, and I can't imagine what it will be like during the holidays. How about she does her job and gives us good customer service? So, I waited a couple of days to post this review because I didn't want my frustration to get the best of me in this post. I went in Saturday and had a young African-American girl help me. She had to be about 18 to early 20s and was accommodating and willing to help us scan our Amazon packages, but she did not send me to the kiosk. So I'm not sure what the girl with the pink eyebrows problem is. I even told the tall African American lady who's been there forever that I hate coming in when the other girl is there and explained the situation. This was about a month ago, and nothing has changed. Now granted, I hate getting to places close to closing time but tonight I had no choice. The store hours listed shows them closing at 6:30pm. I got there at 6:25pm and they had already turned all their services off-line. I drove 40 minutes to get here in crazy traffic. I asked if they closed early and the two young guys who were working said it was past 6:30pm. Seriously? Lies...not cool. Been here several and I'm usually in and out. And ... they now have a self scanner, which for me, is an absolute must! I come in, avoid the line, scan my package or amazon return, get a receipt and leave. No fuss. No muss. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. Every time I have come in to do an Amazon return or even ship an item the two ladies that are working here are so rude! They treat you like you are major inconvenience. Also, you need a label printed for a return, that will be 3.49. NONE of the other locations charge for this. Oh and if your item is in the original packaging, they tell you to remove it from the original box, throw it in a plastic bag and they want you to dispose of the original packaging. No, I am not talking about a shipping box, I am talking about the original packaging. I highly recommend you find a different location to go to! read more

Came in Saturday morning and the line was 10 people long the entire time I was there. As soon as someone was finished someone else was coming in. There was only one employee working (who was crushing it!!!) but cmon ups. Hire more employees. It shouldn't take 20+ minutes to ship a package. Again, the employee working was extremely efficient and was kicking booty but you could just tell she was stressed and that's not cool. If you can't get people to apply then start paying your employees a more competitive wage. read more

The problem with franchises is individual business are sometimes punished by the actions of the brand as a whole. What I mean by that is that the review of this individual location shouldn't be affected by the high prices of shipping, delays by the carrier, or overall policies that are dictated by the owning brand. If we want to give 1-2 stars to a company for their practices we shouldn't punish individual local stores that may affect the employment of others. If the service at the specific location was bad, employees rude or inattentive then sure !! 1 star for everyone but please keep that in mind when reviewing chains (mcds, Wendy's, Walmart and so on) With that being said, this location was fantastic. The place is clean and tidy and as soon as I walked in one of the employees stopped doing what she was doing to say hello and welcome me in then resumed what she was doing. It was not a fake "hey thank you for coming in" while not even making eye contact. I was promptly helped and while they were busy packaging some boxes, she stopped to take my items and determined what needed to be done. This location frequently opens the store late. A few minutes here and there are understandable, but more than half an hour late to open the store on three different occasions in the past two weeks alone is ridiculous. They have customers waiting outside. Super frustrating. If you have to do business with them, make sure to go an hour after they open. Their "business" hours seem to be a suggestion and not the actual times of opening and closing. Bummer that this is the location that is closest to me. read more

We frequently use this store for Amazon returns and their notary, as well as sending info via fax. Why ANYPLACE requires faxes anymore, I cannot say. No one has a fax machine at home. Luckily we live near UPS and found their rates very reasonable. They have always been accommodating, professional, and made sure I received copies of my faxed documents. read more

Update I finally got to meet what might be OTHER people's Mr Grumpy Rude Dude, however after closely observing him help the 4 people ahead of me...and me...I've got to say I observed no grumpy rudeness whatsoever. He is not all smiles like Eve, but he is VERY pleasant and very efficient. He has an AweSome accent that's so pleasant I thought about asking him a bunch of useless questions just to hear him speak, but there were others behind me. He actually did smile a bit as he finished with me. I wholeheartedly recommend this location! Previously... This review is specifically for today's visit when EVE greeted me with a wonderful smile (apparently having nothing in common with Mr Grumpy unhelpful guy everyone is complaining about!) This was my first experience asking UPS to print my Amazon return label (now that Amazon won't let me AirPrint it from my phone). SO SIMPLE. Eve scanned my code from Amazon and printed the label! No charge! Couldn't be simpler. So maybe Mr Grumpy does exist but I'm going to have to go back to find out. I consider myself an unmasked champion of underrated establishments, especially when the primary complaints are regarding rude employees! So I came here specifically to SEE for myself the type of customer service they offer! Today EXCELLENT! My thoughts on this place are that it's in the most convenient location for a lot of people. Worst customer service, ever. The employees hardly said a word to me and were clearly annoyed that I came in close to closing time (the only reason I went out of my way to go to this location is because I was too late to make it to the Baring location before closing time) and then charged me a ridiculous amount to print a single piece of paper without telling me there would be a charge for it. I'll stick the Baring location where the employees are pleasant and they give you candy. In response to the store's reply to me: I walked into your store before closing time, and even though I was initially glad that your store was open upon arrival, I would have skipped the whole experience had I known that I would walk away with being charged for something I was not notified about and didn't agree to, and treated as a burden. I was not greeted - your two employees were both visibly annoyed (one of which was counting the till before closing), and they barely spoke a word to me the entire time. It was an unpleasant experience through and through. And yes, it was bad customer service even though you don't want to believe it. The part of my review mentioning candy was just meant to be funny, but you don't realize that your store would still be terrible even if you did give away candy...or even puppies. read more

This store is convenient to me when I have to drop off packages that have pre-labels for returns, etc. I can usually just walk in and drop it off. Always pretty quick. I did use them a while back for a notary on a document...they do that as well. Don't use them for much else, but it looks like they have mailbox and other business services available. read more

It seems I am in a growing group of consumers who are being seriously let down by UPS. First mishap: I ordered a musical instrument from a business. On the day it was out for delivery, I waited and waited, no delivery. The UPS truck never even came to my street. When I checked later in the evening, the item was marked as delivered. The UPS proof of delivery was a piece of paper, with no picture, stateing that item had been delivered. I then was told to open a claim. I did. after two weeks I had to find that they had ruled against my claim, because item was marked as, "delivered', even though there was no picture proof. Second instance: I ordered an instrument from ebay seller. I told the seller to make sure it was signature required. He did. Jump ahead and the item was listed as out for delivery, signature required. I figured, good, at least that can't screw this up. WRONG!. Once again, they simply lie and say, sorry we missed you, you can pick it up tomorrow at this location. My wife went today to pick it up..........not there. She came home, and a few minutes later we got an email and it said attempted delivery. This company is being destroyed by someone. They will single handedly destroy all online business if this keeps up. Don't even try to complain. You will get No Where. Yelp is the only recourse, Thank you Yelp. read more

This place is great! I've been using this location for years since it opened. Sam is always courteous and efficient and so are the other employees; I've never had an issue. They've always done their best to ensure that I am a satisfied customer and I always have been. Come on...if someone calculated a short fall on a service that I'd purchased, I'd expect them to contact me and let me know. I may not be thrilled about it, but I'd understand. New people often make mistakes. I made plenty of them when I was a new employee. Key words: EMPATHY & LOGIC. This location is the most overpriced of any ups store I've been to. $1.50 per page for faxing plus .50 for confirmation!! Also all of their packaging items are extremely overpriced and even the most simple items like tape, glue or envelopes cost 10x the price of any stores. Whoever owns this store should be slapped with a 2x4 repeatedly. The staff of mainly ethnic women are really nice and helpful and that's the only reason for 2 stars. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I came in today to make 8 double sided, color copies, 40 pages each. After doing some research online, I decided to stop by here, on my way home, to make the colored copies I needed for work. As I walked in, the gentlemen behind the counter didn't even bat an eye or acknowledge my existence coming into his establishment. Whatever. I'm fully capable of utilizing a copy machine. He's probably having a crappy day. I get it. I work in the retail industry myself and we all have bad days. I proceeded to make the appropriate selection on the machine for the copies I needed, totally minding my own business. Half way through the first packet, the paper ran out. I turned around and politely notified him that the machine was out of paper. He mumbled something beneath his breath and slowly made his way out from behind the counter and over to gather some more paper. He made a snide comment that I was making a lot of copies. I jokingly replied back, yup, I was there to butcher a tree's worth of paper, in order to suffice the copies I needed. Clearly he didn't get it or care and closed the paper drawer and walked away. At one point, I looked over my shoulder and noticed he was staring at me. Weird. Finally after what seemed like forever, the pages finished printing and I grabbed my stuff and walked towards the counter to pay for my copies. He came over and made a comment about how beautifully the copy machine had printed the colors. I agreed with him and told him they looked good. He proceeded to ring up my transaction and walked back and forth to a calculator off to the side, typing in numbers and coming up with a total. Once he was done he punched in some numbers at the register and just stared at me. I looked over at the total and thought to myself, "you've got to be shitting me". The total was over $1,200! I asked him if they delivered, since apparently I was buying the copy machine? Again, he didn't understand. I asked him how much he was charging me per colored, double sided sheet. He started going on about prices and how their competition has driven prices and how he's giving me a discount, since I was ordering so much. I politely interrupted him and asked him how much per sheet and if I could take a look at their price listing, since they were no where visibly posted. He pulled out a booklet and flipped through multiple pages. As he flipped through this catalog, I also pulled up the UPS Store's website and looked up the info to order colored copies, in order to compare the prices. Another customer had walked in at some point during this, and I thought to myself, since clearly this was going to be long, I would let him help this other customer. The other customer finished and left. I found the online ordering, to pick up in store section and pulled up the prices: For 40 double sided pages, printed in color, totaling 8 sets and nothing else(not even staples), this came out to $124.80! I began to ask him how he made it from $124.80 to over $1,200? He couldn't say. He proceeded to start the transaction over and this time it came out to $700. I told him I wouldn't be paying for anything over the $124.80. He scoffed and said he was sorry and didn't understand why I was getting frustrated. He proceeded to grab his phone and show me a video he had on there, of a little boy placing money into his diaper, as his parents laughed in the background. I was confused. What did this have anything to do with anything? He simply said he was trying to get me to laugh, since clearly I was not happy. No shit. He proceeded to try and explain how his prices don't ever match the online prices, and I should have just placed the order online so I wouldn't have to be in the store discussing the prices with him in person. He continued to insist, that I should have placed the order and just came in to pick it up and he would never know how much I paid. Seriously? He rang up the transaction for a third time and this time the total came out to over $400. I asked him what prices and formula of math he was using, to come up with these ridiculous totals. He said, "I've given you another discount". I told him I didn't want a discount and just wanted to pay for my copies and leave. Eventually, I told him I was tired of his games and asked for his name, his manager's name and the number to their customer service office. I let him know I would be calling them to inform them of this scam he's trying to pull. He told me his name was Sam, but he couldn't give me his manager's name or the company's customer service number. Or he just didn't want to. Either way, while Sam is working here, I will never step foot in this establishment again. I advise you find yourself a different place to make copies. Don't bother going here. read more

Last Thursday I shipped a Christmas package going to Canada for family. Monday I get an unprofessional hand written note form the UPS store stating my package had insufficient funds for shipping. How do you quote a shipping price to a customer, charge them and then not provide the service? UPS Store, you weighed my package, measured my package, had the address and customs paperwork and quoted me a price. A mistake was made on UPS store's part and they let $16 ruin any future business. Here is what UPS Store should have done. Sent my package and paid the difference in postage to make sure the delivery happened in a timely manner as promised. Second, after fulfilling their obligations to our agreement they could have negotiated with me to see if I would pay the difference. Third and most importantly they, UPS Store should never leave a new employee alone to run business. This is how costly mistakes are made. I would strongly advise not using this location as the reviews here reflect an accurate star rating. Go to the Baring location. Never had a bad experience there. read more

I have gone to this UPS store several times and was quite pleased with it. however recently I went to take a passport photo which was done incorrectly so I went back to the UPS store to get my money back and I think it was only $10. I was told that only the owner can approve a refund and that was two months ago and I've gone back twice and keep being told that the owner has not been in. Despite some other no so positive reviews, I use this UPS Store for all my shipping needs. The gentleman who operates this store is very kind and easy to chat with. I drop off all my Zappos returns (who doesn't love shoes) and other online shopping returns free of charge. Note: Two other mail stores on the south side of town want up to $2 a box to drop off free return items. I also use the store to drop off items that I ship to my family back east. They are always packaged gently and arrive on time. It is easy for the staff to pull up my account by phone number; all my frequent shipping addresses are stored in my account for easy access. This expedites the process and gets me in and out of the store quickly. The price can be a little higher than I have experienced at other mail stores but the care provided is worth a few extra dollars to me! read more
