I made my returns a bit complicated on my end and I was told, "we'll be here all day" with a warm chuckle. The female owner from whom I remember years ago was kind and asked if I needed any help lol. I wish this was within my route of going to UPS as I feel I would always have a good giggle and leave with a good mood. All of the UPS staff are attentive and nice but the Baring Blvd- UPS location is truly one of a kind!

I guess I'm just always amazed at how long short order or timely manner can be when it comes to these stores. To me it always seems to take forever to process seemingly simple transactions. After all these years in business I would like to think FedEx figured out a way to make everything that much easier for their teams to service customers, but they haven't. That said, the center is clean. There's hand sanitizer around, along with social distancing signs and the staff and patrons were wearing masks, so that was all good. Parking was a breeze because it's on a relatively non trafficked road and you can park right on the street. All in all, if you're cruising through or near this area, this outpost is a much better choice than the more civilian locations in strip malls.

I've lived in this community for 12 years and FedEx drivers are in and out during the day, almost every day. I don't understand why this driver didn't deliver not have the code that all of the other FedEx drivers have for our area. I requested a call from the station and the representative put in a request for someone to call - as of this writing I haven't received a call. I've gotten to the point that when I haven't received to send something, I use UPS!

Reasons I liked my experience with Sindex are many, but it started with the fact they're supporters of Northern Nevada Pride. I am not sure if this is an LGBTQ+ owned business or an ally, but it doesn't matter because either way they align with my principles and beliefs, and I'm happy to show my support in turn. I needed a large banner, 12x3, for our presence at the Parade and Festival, and they were so friendly and speedy with everything. They quickly quoted, rapidly completed, and efficiently communicated everything with me along the way. When it comes to printing, everyone wants to know about pricing, and I can only share my own experience. Sindex was offering fellow Pride supporters a discount that put the price of their work on par with another local printer I quoted for this project. That said, had it not been for the discount, the cost here would've been double the other quote, and that would make sending the job here tough in the future. There are often many reasons pricing is higher on certain jobs, and it's typically due to the equipment they have in house, so I'm assuming that's what happened here. When that's the case, it just means the printer may not have what's necessary to be competitive on that type of work, but they could still be great for other work.
