I had package diverted from my home address to this facility to ensure its arrival was ok. I received an email that it had been received and I headed over after work. I missed the original turn but turned right after and was able to wander through a few parking lots and find it. I parked right at the door and was only delayed by a few minutes waiting for a customer service rep. They recognized the address right away and headed to the back to get my package. All I needed was to show my ID and autograph the electronic signature pad and the package was mine. Perfect and easy. read more

THEIVES! They don't deliver your packages. The drives steal them because they forget when they scan them for delivery it updates the gps tracking and you get shown it at their house and when you call you are told you will get a call back from management in town and they either won't call you or they call you in the middle of the night more upset that you know their driver stole it and not that they are thieves and committing a felony read more

Stop leaving F@#$&@ packages 5 feet from the street to get stolen ESPECIALLY when I have a SIGN on my fence is 4 feet from the street, that says to deliver straight to the PORCH. My package went from Las Vegas NV to Tonopah NV to Sparks NV. That was accomplished very quickly. Which was great except instead of delivering it to me in Sparks, the Sparks UPS Center sent it to West Sacramento. Now it has to be shipped from West Sacramento back to Sparks. I called the individual who sent the package, and they called UPS and was told it would be delivered Sunday. I should have had it today. This is not the first time UPS has done this to me. They are saving a lot of fuel driving my package all around Nevada and California. Don't even waste your time trying to call them for assistance. They use to be the best shipping company around. I will never ship with UPS. read more

All they do is logistics and they can't even get that right. Got the email yesterday that my package was going to be delivered today and a signature was required. I rearranged my schedule to make sure I'd be home at the posted 4-hour window and was even home 45 minutes prior to their stated window just to find out they already came by and left the note on my door. I even tracked it first thing this morning to make sure it was still on schedule, which it said it was. So, reading their email I decide to sign up for their online service thinking I could release the package on there, but no go. You can only request they reroute it. Wasted a bunch of my time and I still don't have my package. And now it looks like I'm going to have to waste more time and my own resources to pick the darn thing up myself. I guess that's what happens when you don't have any interest in quality customer service or customer service at all really. read more

UPS... You once were a reliable supplier of consistent customer service. It's VERY Clear you no longer care about your customers or their needs. At. All. Our package arrived to the UPS center this morning... (13 minute drive from my location) package was out for delivery today at 11am, supposed to arrive at 8pm. At 7pm we suddenly get a notice that we won't receive our package until 4 DAYS LATER... "because of weather" (it was a mixture of rain and sun today). This item is for a photo shoot happening tomorrow, it was ordered 5 days ago and other items from the same order arrived the day after it was ordered. My experience with UPS and more specifically the UPS Sparks facility: I purchased an oxygen machine for my mother that shipped via UPS from Englewood, Colorado to Reno, Nevada. The package was scanned as being shipped on the 8th of March. On March 9th it made it's first stop in Utah where the status was immediately updated to "Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery." but the weather didn't appear to actually have caused any real delay because it shipped from Utah that very same day and arrived in Sparks, NV on Friday, March 10th at 5:52 AM. After arriving to the Sparks UPS facility there was no attempt of delivery, nothing happened with the package, it just sat there in the facility all day Friday and throughout the weekend until Monday March 13th at 10AM when the status of the package was finally updated to "Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery." Say what??? Apparently to someone at the Sparks UPS facility a temperature of 55° and sunshine without a drop of rain or snow constitutes "severe weather". Now I don't know about the weather in Utah but I'm starting to suspect a pattern of "weather delay" being the go to status for all UPS packages, at all UPS locations. As a side note, the weather in Sparks for Friday thru Sunday was periods of light to moderate rain and as I stated earlier, the weather on Monday, March 13th in Sparks was a beautiful sunny day with a high temp of 55° accompanied by a light breeze throughout the day and not a single drop of rain or snow, but I digress. On Monday morning at 8 AM I decide to call the facility because I wanted to arrange to pick up the package as I was getting anxious with the multiple "delays" and because at that point I had read numerous online customer complaints that alleged potential theft by UPS drivers and employees within the Sparks UPS facility, not to mention the countless complaints of delayed or non-delivered packages. Eventually I had to give up on the idea of picking it up because I was unable to change the delivery option, I was unable to speak to an actual person and I was hung-up on repeatedly. Currently it is Tuesday, March 14 at 3 PM and the status of my package is "out for delivery by 7 PM". (Fingers Crossed) I have had crappy experience with UPS for Amazon and other online retailer orders but because of this experience specifically, I must say, that UPS should not be used for the shipment of anything expensive or important, and especially if time is of the essence. read more

Ups has become a absolute joke. A juggernaut in the industry so they have 0 care of accountability, customer service. I have no why to talk to anyone that has any useful information other than redirected calls to foreign customer service with no answers to in depth questions or information. I'm trying to have a package held for pick or redirected at a ups store. I'm told Mychoice is the only way to do so but I have zero options to make that happen. So I paid for Mychoice premium to have the ability to reschedule a delivery and low and behold! I still cant reschedule delivery or any other alternative to prevent packages being stolen from me. This is what ups has become. A careless no solution to problems and 0 human to human interaction customer service read more

My medication from Las Vegas was sent to Sparks NV via Tonopah NV. Did it again.. UPS substitute drivers - just plain awful. This package of medicine in dry ice for one day air shipment and special handling was dropped in the weeds 300 feet from my front door. UPS simply does not care if this medicine gets spoiled or not and they further don't care how the package is marked for delivery. See pic attached of the UPS truck driving away while I scream at her. That white box on the ground is what she called a "delivery". Yes, I waited for her this time because it happens everytime so I knew exactly what she was going to do. Complaining to UPS website is a waste of time as they don't care either. The UPS 888 number is a joke and UPS customer service is non existent. OBTW...My regular UPS driver is the picture of perfect performance. He has never dropped the package in the weeds. He usually hands it to me at the front door. These substitute drivers should be working at McDonalds. read more

I am trying to have a package re-delivered (from 8-25 to 8-29 due to not being home for 4 days due to emergency), using their on line process which keeps putting me in a friggin loop. So I called, they can't and won't re-sch. it for me and wanted me to pick it up at a UPS location two cities away AND pay a $7 added cost for holding it. So I escalated it to upper management and spoke to a sup. named Ash. He was able to find a resolution and have the local UPS del. guy hold the package till the 29th. So thank you Ash, you helped keep UPS in the 3 Star rating. Not happy with UPS's process but at least Ash was able to resolve it. This is not ROCKET science, I'm just re-scheduling a package, not changing the location or address and it's 4 days till ETA of delivery so it's not like the day before delivery. We are having extreme theft issues with the UPS Customer Center in Sparks, NV (301 Vista Blvd) with the theft of packages shipped through this center for our wholesale and direct-to-consumer businesses, to the tune of thousands of dollars of losses a week. So far they have been unresponsive so we have filed reports with both the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI field office in the State of Nevada. I would encourage everyone else having theft issues to do the same. How it works: we create shipments for our customers, label them via UPS Ground, they are picked up by UPS but never scanned. Days go by with no change to the tracking, and then the shipment is randomly canceled by UPS or just acknowledged as never received (i.e. label created). Claims are ignored and never paid. This is straight-up theft and there are rings of criminals working within UPS to fleece businesses and consumers. read more

There is no phone number listed anywhere so if you live in Reno and lose something via UPS you're screwed unless you pay $15 for redelivery. I hope the woman that helped me with my shipment has gotten a huge raise or something. I did not go to the facility so this review isn't about them. I have had 2 very bad experiences with dispatch the past month. The first had to do with a large package delivered to the locker. I had indicated signature required but was ignored. UPS had the dispatcher call me and all she did was make excuses. I have cancelled the locker service so this can't happen again. The next was the delivery of a tv. The delivery guy knocked on my door. He was not wearing a mask or gloves. When I asked where his mask was he showed me a gator around his neck. When I said he needed to put it on he laughed and said he didn't wear masks. I refused delivery. I've also cancelled signature required on my account. I've filed a complaint with UPS. Both shippers have worked with me and have given me refunds. Over the years UPS has just gotten worse and worse. Unfortunately there isn't a way to ask the shipper to use a different service. You can be sure I never use UPS myself. With the numbers going higher and higher you would think a company as large as UPS would show more concern for their customers. read more

This review is not directly associated to this customer center, but rather the driver who services my location out of this hub. For the 2nd time in as many weeks I followed the tracking of deliveries as I sat at home waiting. In both instances I saw the status go from "on the truck" or "out for delivery" to "no one available to receive package". But these people can't seem to find it. When I came to pick it up yesterday I was told I would have to wait for an unknown amount of time before someone could help me cause the persons partner was on lunch. Very poor service from this location and the route driver. 12-23 was scheduled delivery according to tracking. It was not delivered. I contacted the UPS Customer service rep Gene. I was told to come back on Friday if I had not received my package. So Friday 12-27 I go back to the center and check. I am told it is not there and they have no Idea where it may be. Im told once again to return on Monday if I do not receive the package over the weekend. This package was paid to be delivered on last Monday By the sender and still no sign of it. Drivers are extremely LAZY! I had a Amazon return that needed to be sent back which was in 2 large boxes since it was a bed. I contacted Amazon for them to schedule the pickup with UPS for the next day. Day 1 of sitting outside) I put both boxes outside in the morning for the driver with a NOTE taped to the box letting the driver know BOTH boxes were a Amazon return. At about 5pm I went out to check my mail and noticed that BOTH boxes were still on my porch with a return label shoved in my door. I contacted Amazon and let them know that the driver would need to bring an additional label for the 2nd box the following day. She then scheduled ANOTHER pick up. Day 2 of sitting outside) NO ONE SHOWS. Day 3 of sitting outside) I checked my mail at about 5pm AGAIN, and noticed BOTH boxes were STILL on my porch with additional return label shoved in my door. The first box that had a return label that was provided to me previously when he/she came was STILL there and NOT taken even though THERE WAS A LABLE ON IT. I contacted Amazon for the third time to have them schedule with UPS to pick up BOTH boxes since BOTH boxes have labels. Day 4 of sitting outside) NO ONE SHOWS AGAIN. I contact Amazon with a final attempt to see what is going on! She then told me that BOTH times the driver "attempted" to pick up the packages were not ready/someone wasn't home......HOW IS THAT WHEN THE PACKAGES HAVE BEEN SITTING OUTSIDE FOR ALL THOSE DAYS AND I'M HOME! Day 5 of sitting outside) Packages were just NOW finally picked up after calling UPS directly, getting the run around and making a complaint! This experience has been extremely frustrating! These packages were sitting outside for almost a whole week! Luckily, I live in an area where no one can see the packages from the street or I'm sure they would have been stolen! ON DAY ONE when he brought the label with the packages outside, why didn't he just slap the label on it and take the one item he had a return label for instead of just shoving it in my door?! When he showed up for the SECOND TIME to provide an additional tag for the 2nd box why didn't he take the FIRST box that already had a return label that he provided 2 days before?! For Amazon to be telling me the driver "attempted" but the packages were not ready/no one was home is a LIE. I work nights and I'm home ALL DAY with my daughter! There is a car in my driveway, I have 2 dogs that bark when someone is at the door AND a doorbell that works! That leaves me to believe there was NO actual attempt! And what are you attempting?! THE PACKAGES ARE IN PLAIN SITE FOR YOU TO SEE that had a BIG note that said, AMAZON RETURN! I know UPS only gives you so many chances for THEM to pickup until YOU have to physically take the packages to the store yourself, which is exactly what the driver was trying to do because He/She was too LAZY to grab the heavy boxes! They then decided to LIE about attempting twice so by the third time I would just have to bring the boxes myself! Hire people who actually care about their jobs and customers! EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT & INCONSIDERATE! Also, I've called twice today to talk to a supervisor to make a complaint and was told I would be given a called back in an hour both times......It's been 6 hours with no call! read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. Paid extra to have a check sent 2-day shipping. All goes well until day of delivery. It is scanned with an arrival scan at 6:56 am, then a departure scan at 7:20. This would be the arrival to the airport and leaving the airport for the local hub. Then there is an arrival scan of 7:50 am. Logic would follow that this is it arriving at the local hub. Another scan at 9:10 am says, "destination scan." Suddenly at 1:49 pm it's scanned as late trailer arrival delayed delivery. What the heck? What late trailer arrival. And why wait until so late to notify me! On top of that you can't call the direct location. Apparently they do not understand the point of 2 day delivery or care that we pay extra for this service.
