1/2026 I had an Amazon return and wasn't aware that packaging is sometimes included, as I usually still have the original packaging it came in. Deep provided excellent customer service by advising me to check with the representative first before purchasing additional packaging. I thanked him, as that advice could have saved me $6.49. That said, it was well worth the cost for such outstanding service--not just because I could have saved money, but because not all representatives take the time to offer helpful information or go the extra mile these days. read more

I have had a mailbox at this location for about 5 years. Generally, service is good. The staff rotates through to another store, so its not always the same people. There was a period of time that service was poor, I thought about cancelling my mailbox. There were issues in having packages checked in improperly, I had to frequently wait for someone to dig around the store to find my package. Those issues seem to have been resolved. It is very nice to have peace of mind that anything i order and need delivered will be signed for and safe until I pick it up. read more

This location is one of the best ups stores I've been in. The employees are friendly, quick and efficient. They have an Amazon scanner for returns which makes it nice if you don't want to wait in line for an employee to do the return. They don't have bathrooms inside and with the remodel it feels small but all in all, this is a great place you can mail a letter, send a package or return your Amazon purchases. read more

Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This UPS privately owned franchise store are making fraudulent charges and I believe this store discriminates against Latinos they charged me 5 dollars to print a black and white return shipping label for an amazon package. For example, printing a label from a UPS store may cost around $3, while using an email to print a label can be as low as $1.50 for file processing and printing. The receipt seems fraudulent the transaction ID didn't' register on the UPS online website and customer service from corporate couldn't justify the charge. I'm sure I'm not the only person that they've done this too. The next step is to walk in the store and talk to the owner in front of his face to confront him on this ridiculous charge!!!!!! read more

UPDATE: I want to clarify that I was not "frustrated," nor did I ask anyone to do anything illegal. The employee initiated the encounter by stepping aside and yelling to himself, "I'm so tired of everyone treating me like I'm fing stupid." I paused and calmly said, "Let me find the right number." He then went to the back and began screaming that I was "fing stupid along with other insults. Another employee witnessed the entire incident and appeared visibly uncomfortable. I'm asking that you take accountability for this unacceptable behavior and issue a proper apology. Please do not deflect responsibility or suggest that I was attempting anything unlawful that is both inaccurate and inappropriate. Original Post: I had a scheduled fingerprinting appointment at this UPS location, and the experience was incredibly upsetting. The employee unexpectedly began yelling profanities at me and cursing me out without provocation. I was so shaken by the verbal abuse that I had to leave immediately. I reported the incident to UPS corporate, and while they assured me it would be investigated, no one ever followed up. It's extremely disappointing to be treated this way and then receive no response or accountability. This was not only unprofessional it was deeply distressing. Since when did they start charging for UPS products, such as padded packs and envelopes? i have never encountered this before at any UPS store. Maybe it's a new thing? I came in to finish up some paperwork that had to go out - I had a label but needed a padded pack and a pouch for the label. I asked the young man behind the counter and at first, he pointed me towards the wall of generic envelopes, etc. Then I asked if they had a UPS padded pack and he went and got one, then handed it to me. At no point was I told it would be $3. At any rate, I proceeded to put the label in the pouch, and affixed to the padded pack, then placed my documents inside before sealing the pack. The self service machine was out of order so I stood in line. When it was my turn, I asked for a receipt and the young man behind the counter told me it would be $3 for the padded pack. I was confused and told him I have over 25 padded packs at home that I got for FREE from UPS and the only reason I asked for one was for sheer convenience. At any rate, I ended up leaving with my documents, confused and annoyed. Is UPS going downhill that it's now charging customers for their products? Or is it just this store? I just wish the guy who handed me the UPS padded pack would have told me I'd be charged $3 for it, it would have saved me time. read more

I went to this UPS location hoping to find someplace to print some special pictures onto a particular type of fabric. Not having any luck in some typical stores that offer printing services, I went into this particular UPS location. Not only were they able to print my pictures, a particular employee was especially helpful in making sure the pictures/printout were exactly the size and quality I needed. He spent time helping me out and I got exactly what I needed. He made my whole day that much more special and I appreciated the expertise and patience he gave me. The cost was lower than I expected. Been coming to this UPS store for years and in the past, had UPS do printing for me for my business. Carried in a Amazon return in the pouring rain that was probably 50 pounds and then was told that I needed to print a label with them which costs $5 for an hour of computer use and $.50 for the paper. Ridiculous add on charge, and the employees were of no help or even cared to explain the reasoning. The staff here have gone downhill over the past six months I've noticed. Maybe the store should rethink this ridiculous $5 surcharge to print a single page black and white paper. I suggest using other stores or companies for shipping in the future. read more

I went in to get a document notarized and get two copies of a photo. The employee helping me was rude. I was mailing one simple envelope. He notarized one of the photos without asking me. I had an entirely different piece of paper that needed to be filled out per the document instructions. He told me I had to pay again if I needed another notary. He then grabbed a cardboard envelope to ship the documents and I told him I have an envelope. He mentioned tracking it and I had to explain it's just going regular mail. They aren't signing for it upon receipt. I need a stamp. He asked me to grab a blue envelope off a countertop that was a few feet away. What do I need this for? Again, I have everything I need except the notary. This guy was smug the whole time. He clearly has no idea what he is doing and was not helpful. He was confusing me and didn't care. We have frequently come here to ship packages, do returns to Amazon, etc. but today I had to special photos for a citizenship document. I called and talked to Deep, who was very helpful. I came I. to have the photo taken, and Deep remembered me from the phone call, and understood exactly what I needed (special sizes, etc). I was in and out in about 15 minutes with EXACTLY what I needed for my application. He was great! read more

I use UPS stores a bunch, often for Amazon returns (or other returns) and sometimes just to ship things. I've had only positive experiences here with anything I've ever needed to do. I did fax something once and it was kinda expensive but I'm not going to hold that against them - especially because they're open later than many locations and were there when I needed to fax! I shipped some Christmas presents last year and learned the (very crucial) difference between their online services vs. in-store. So I waited in line for a little while (have never had to wait very long) only to find out that they didn't offer the flat rate shipping deal from their website - I had to enter all my info online and print the label at home. That's the only 'hiccup' I've had and the person helping me was good at explaining the difference. I left a little frustrated but again, not holding it against them. I need this store! :-) It's also a little bigger than other locations, I think, and there are usually a bunch of people who can help. read more

I came here as I was told it was a return center for Spectrum equipment. I was returning some cable equipment as I cancelled the cable service I didn't use. When I walked in I was greeted and told someone would be with me in just a moment. As an employee finished up, they quickly catered to the next customer. I explained my purpose of being there and he said he had no problem with helping me to do that. He quickly scanned what he needed to scan, took the equipment, and printed out receipts and informed me to keep this copy as they do not have a history of returns in their system. It cost absolutely nothing to do this. This entire process took about 5 minutes and I left a happy customer. read more

Gave this place another try since they were the only location open at 7:30am and I wanted to drop off packages before work. I walked in 1 minute after the tall employee with the UNLV sweatshirt. This was at 7:47am. There were no lights on. He walked to the front from the back after turning on the lights. He pretended like I wasn't there as he logged into all three computers. Then someone else came in luckily to ask about package pricing. He said he couldn't show her the boxes because there was a huge mess in front of them. He was very peeved that she even asked one question. She even said, "You don't seem to want to be here." And again, he just stared at us. This encounter was so bizarre that the other customer stopped me in the parking lot to discuss how weird the interaction was. She and I both agreed that you can't trust this place for anything. read more

If you are considering using the UPS Store in Northwest Reno - DON'T! We are supposed to have our mail forwarded to us twice a week in the winter months. They used to know how to do this, but for some reason have had a brain fart and cannot forward our mail to us. I just learned (by calling them), they DID NOT SEND US ANY MAIL LAST WEEK. This particular store and this particular owner have been here for many years, as such, this store has a well earned outstanding reputation. I had not been in there for years but had an 11 page fax I needed sent. Turns out as this was going to a government fax it did not go though on the first try...busy, busy, busy! The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I regret not having the name of the tall young man who helped me. He went above and beyond. I paid and left it in their hands to continue to retry the fax number. They indeed did that for two full days, no success. I then decided to mail it with return receipt requested. I was able to do that there in one easy step. My refund due on the fax was processed immediately. This store is a winner and they have my business! read more

I've been to this UPS Store location a few times over the past several years and have always received exceptional service. During my visit yesterday, the young man helping me was courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. We had a UK Student Visa application to be sent to a processing center in New York and also needed a return label for it to be sent back to us. The young man helping me was very efficient and helpful. The visa process can be very trying but I felt relieved after having the shipment taken care of here. read more

Wouldn't recommend for passport photos Post office would not accept the passport photos that I had taken at this store. When I brought the photos back, I was told that there are no refunds because we saw what the photos looked like before we left the store. So...buyer beware. They are not responsible for knowing what is required of a passport photo. It turns out that the post office will take photos when you turn in your paperwork there, and they are very nice. Finally a location with customer service, tact and expertise. After a rough experience at the Lemmon Valley #4252 location telling me a 3rd party QR code was not for a UPS tracking number location although as seen attached it clearly was- I drove a half hour to this location. The gentleman at the counter scanned the QR code, printed and affixed the shipping label and handed me a receipt in a matter of seconds. He not knowing what I just went through with a rude owner Sam at another location - was nothing but polite. All three staff members at the counter were all there with an excellent attitude and willingness to help. I thanked him for doing it so quickly and easily and explained my experience at another location who told me it wasn't for UPS even though I set it up as a UPS ground shipment through the 3rd party Mercari app. He said it was actually really basic and anyone should've been able to do it. That he was sorry to hear that the other guy was so rude, when clearly it was indeed for UPS. Thank you all for your knowledge in processing QR codes for mailing labels. This "UPS" store doesn't have any supplies of UPS air bills or UPS boxes. Shipping via UPS at this UPS store is a challenge...I've used this location several times, and they usually have inexperienced staffers who don't know how to key things into their computer system behind the desk. One of the packages I shipped through this store didn't arrive at the destination...unknown whose fault it is, but the people who don't know how to use their own systems don't inspire confidence. They also charged an exorbitant amount for a tiny bit of bubble wrap today (needed because they don't have supplies like UPS boxes on hand and had to wing it). Just because they accept UPS packages for pickup doesn't merit using UPS's ID in the store name. There's very little else they can help UPS customers with. I won't use them again. read more
