She was very thorough, took her time and gave us the attention to detail that we needed. We were charged for our signatures which was very affordable. $15.00 per signature. I've come here several times to ship packages and every time this UPS makes you pay almost 5$ to print one piece of paper. however, the UPS in the Smith's shopping center on South Meadows does NOT. I'm never coming back here again because the owner of the Damonte Ranch is apparently cheap enough to charge those prices for one basic shipping label. Go to south meadows. read more

I had to send off four bulky packages to a friend in Maryland after a recent fire evacuation and I only went to this location because my usual UPS Store on Wedge Parkway was closed, undergoing improvements. I went here late on a Saturday, mostly to ask for advice on how to package these items. When I told the female clerk what I had to ship, she quickly said that it would be a lot of trouble and take a lot of time to bring these four items to this store and measure and weigh them there. She said I should just go to the UPS website and do it myself at home and she gave me some labels for my self service. Because I was anxious about the shipping, I went home and spent over an hour wrapping, weighing and labeling these packages and just dropped them off at this store just after they opened on a Sunday morning. I know good help is hard to find these days and nothing demonstrates this more than what I experienced on my first, and last, visit to this UPS Store. I can hardly wait for my more helpful, courteous and professional UPS Store to re-open. I hope it doesn't take too long before I can get better UPS service there. read more

We love having a UPS store here and the owner is really great. However we dread shipping from here or coming here because it takes so long. The line is slow. We got passport photos and were here an hour and missed dinner reservations. We are here today and need to pick up a package and it's taking a very long time. They have all the UPS services & will happily help elderly & physically challenged get your heavy or awkward packages from your car to the service counters in the store. They have boxes, packaging, tape & labels in stock. This store has post office boxes too. Easy to find in Northwest Reno. The value rests in its location. Today I had to return boxes to Amazon. The owner of the store and Leigh (sorry if I spelled it wrong) were the epitome of kindness and helped me with getting the return label. I haven't been well for quite a while with several rather serious illnesses, so their amazing help was so helpful. They took away the stress I had been under for several days. New owner. Same terrible service. The owner put the wrong address on my package and no apartment number despite my repeating it two times. Very passive aggressive, even thanked me numerous times for my questions. Instead of asking me if there were prohibited/restricted items, such as firearms, etc., he asked what was in my small envelope. I questioned that - he does not need to view the contents. The package delivered to the apt next door and the recipient was able to retrieve it from her neighbor. Don't accept their apologies... look at all the negative reviews... terrible service and new management. I wonder if the new owner did a little Cost/Benefit analysis in his head, that the price of his actions is actually much heavier (this review) than a small inconvenience we experienced with the package? He bought himself another straw on the camel's back of negative reviews. This is a bad way to be in the world. I have never had a problem at this UPS store. I go there frequently to ship returns, everyone is always kind, helpful and professional.

I see this store has many negative reviews, but I have been treated well at this location the four or five previous times I have been here this summer, and I am very satisfied. The first time I visited, I returned an Amazon package at the front desk. The woman who helped me was fast, professional, and polite. There was no line as well. Then next time I did the same thing with similar results, although one person was ahead of me. But I also noticed an employee helping a customer use the Amazon self-service return station, which intrigued me. It didn't seem too hard. So, on my third visit, I gave it a try. It was easy-peasy. You just: 1. scan your return QR-code 2. place your item in the supplied clear plastic bag 3. hit "print" and a self-adhesive return label prints out 4. use this label to tape the bag shut 5 drop the bag in the drop box right there 6. confirm you have done this on the screen 7. print out how you want your receipt (none, email, text, and printed copy I think were the choices). I was thrilled how fast and efficient this was. There is never a line at this machine, or at most, one person. On my last visit, just yesterday to do a return, there was a line of four or five customers waiting for the clerk. I simply bypassed all of them and went to the open self-service machine. In a few seconds, voila...I was done. Everyone was still in line, and I felt giddy just doing it myself and quickly, while everyone waited. Kind of like when I have an appointment at the blood-draw lab, and everyone else just arrives and waits in line. I go right to the front of the line at my appointment time. I am not sure why others do not do this. I guess because it is something new and they are uncomfortable trying? I am that way sometimes too still, but I try to adapt. I motioned to the next people in line to give it a try, but they declined. [By the way, Amazon has always issued me a refund by the end of the day that I dropped off a package using the self-service station, even on a Sunday, so it does work!] As for parking, it has been usually fine. One time, most of the parking places were taken, probably since there are a few fast-food restaurants nearby, but I still found a place and just had to walk an extra row. No biggie! This is going to be my go-to UPS Store in the future. It opens at 7:30 AM weekdays, and is also open Sundays. It's in a huge plaza with lots of other stores, like Walmart and O'Reilly Auto Parts, but in plaza that is well laid out with lots of parking. It is also convenient to the freeway (I-580). I went in for fingerprinting, only to be told that their manager wasn't certified and that they aren't able to complete it. That's okay, I understand a minor hiccup, but then, they lied to me about Fingerprint Express and told me that they were "backed up for over a month" and that I should go to the other UPS location. I received fantastic service at Fingerprint Express that only took 10 minutes from when I first arrived. I despise greedy people that lie to make sure your money is theirs. This negative review is specifically due to a rude employee at this store with dark hair wearing glasses with black frames. She was obviously from the younger generation that likely detests work, and probably uses pronouns like "they" and "them" to refer to herself. I went in to drop off a package with a prepaid label, and was not familiar with the process. I typically use the UPS Store in the South Meadows location, and will use that location moving forward. The employee was extremely rude and condescending about the drop off process. I'm used to getting a paper receipt when doing drop offs, and was not familiar with the new drop off process where you scan packages yourself and just leave them there. I will no longer go to this location if this individual works here. She clearly hates her job, and doesn't like having to deal with answering questions from customers. read more

DO NOT SHIP WITH THIS STORE. I am heartbroken! If I could leave a "0" rating, I would. I took heirloom items in for packing and shipping. The clerk was friendly and understood the fragility of the items. I left there confident the box would be securely packed and shipped. But when the box arrived to its destination a week later, almost everything in there was broken. One time around each item with bubble wrap, taped, and then thrown into the box loosely. NO POPCORN. NO EXTRA PADDING TO MAKE SURE THE ITEMS WERE HELD TIGHTLY AND SECURE. After bouncing around inside the box three-quarters of the way across the United States, well you can imagine. I am serious! They get you in and out in no time! I've been here multiple times because I'm an avid Amazon Prime return-er and lately I've just been keeping my car run while I go inside. 20 seconds tops. Well, today I actually had to mail a birthday present back east and I haven't paid to mail anything in forever so I assumed the only place to do that was the Post Office. I knew driving into the USPS that I hated it, I was dreading it. There can be three cars outside then you walk inside to a line of 30 people. I had the patience of about 90 seconds and immediately said, "$črEw this, I'm going to UPS". Bam, get in my car and 2 minutes later I'm at Damonte Ranch UPS and the ONLY customer for dayyyzzz. I tell them what I need, speedy speedy. He checks and compares the prices of the postal service. Whatever, I'm not going back there, $12 and some changes and I was outtie 5 thooouu. Peace! read more

Five stars for this store but Four stars for UPS lately! I got so used to going to the South Meadows store that I never realized this was here! It popped up in another search and hit my radar, so I got to check it out this morning when I had to drop off a package. Signs saying masks required, social distancing markers, plexiglas dividers, and employees masked up too, it felt like a clean and safe environment. There happened to be no one there, which definitely enhanced the experience. UPS has had higher rates and slower service lately. I think it's reasonable to expect a package shipped Monday via ground service could make its way to its destination within 5 days. It always has and it's pretty surprising they can't deliver on that now. I'm sure demand has increased, but I think it's reasonable to assume they could manage it. read more

Would not recommend using this store for you print needs. I placed an online order for a print job for a presentation I was doing. I showed up and they had not even bothered to complete the job. Left me with out my materials I needed for my meeting. The owner was not helpful and did not express an remorse for ruining my afternoon and meeting. I needed to get fingerprinted through a company called Fieldprint for a background check for a client project. I had no idea The UPS had these types of services, especially with Sunday appointments available. (Note: I booked my appointment directly through Fieldprint, not UPS). I thought this store would be a madhouse at 10 AM on a Sunday, as it sits in the same parking lot as Walmart in Damonte Ranch. However, I was the only person in the store and the two young men were very courteous and knew exactly what they were doing. Thank you for being professionals! This store has an employee Evan who is extremely rude. I went there to get my finger prints done. He handed me a sheet to fill out. I filled it out and then waited while he helped four other people. Without looking at me or saying anything he kept helping customers as they came in. He never told me to get back in line. I waved my arms and he said " you can be cool or I can kick you out" I calmly said I have a hard job and don't need to be talked to like that when I'm a customer. He said " wow I deal with jerks like you all done". This was unbelievable. I'm never going back again. Avoid this store unless you want to be treated like garbage as a paying customer read more

I have used this UPS store quite a bit for the last 3 months. They are expensive for copying and misprint many things yet charge for all. Passport photos cost twice as much as other locations. I have always hated this store due to past customer service, but I have recently had a great experience with a newer employee. Her name is Katelyn and she managed to get all 7 of my packages ready and labeled in record time despite me taking awhile to find addresses. She made conversation and really made the time an enjoyable experience instead of making me feel like I was wasting her time. She even remembered details about my packages from a few days before (I own a business and ship out a lot). there was a line to the door and I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable at all which is a first for that place. Their system was down so he said they couldn't scan my QR code from Amazon so I changed it to drop off and needed them to print label. He told me it would be $5 to ship it now to print label and was incredible rude and sarcastic even though they were at fault for not being able to ship the item. He didn't apologize or anything and when I asked who was above him to talk with he said no one and wouldn't give me his name. This teammate needs to be written up and terminated as the way he acted I doubt I was his first customer he has been abusive towards. If you email them your Amazon return shipping label, they charge $1 per page and $5 computer fee. So basically, it cost me $8 to return my item. For my business I am frequently at shipping locations dropping items several times a week. This is one of the best UPS locations and I try to ship here whenever possible because the staff are always efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. It's my own fault for trying several times to make this a viable alternative to the Post Office or anywhere else that could satisfy assorted mailing / packaging / notary needs. Don't make the same mistake. Go to a notary or the post office. This last two occurrences pushed me over the edge. On the 12th of April I mailed 4 IRS packages. I mailed them UPS 2 day. 4 days later only 3/4 had arrived. I had continuously checked on-line for their status but couldn't report them until it had passed it's expected delivery date by one day. I chatted with the customer service person at MBE and was assured it was in transit and I should follow up with UPS. Low and behold, a call to UPS revealed that the missing package had NEVER been received. The package NEVER left MBE until I called them and PROVED, through UPS, that it had never been sent. Second issue... I mailed out 38 invites. Each was a square envelope and I needed them hand stamped so that the invites inside weren't damaged or wrinkled. The postage required was $0.69. I was charged $1.18 EACH. I wasn't told the postage was $0.69, only that it would be $1.18 for each. I assumed with the shape (square envelopes are always extra) that was a decent charge. After paying, I asked to see one of the envelopes so I had an idea of what they would look like with the hand stamped postage mark. When it was handed to me to look at I saw the $0.69 postage mark. I asked why the charge was so expensive and why it wasn't disclosed - and the clerks EXACT WORDS we're "If I wasted my time explaining charges to everyone all day i'd never get anything done." So instead they charged double the postage and treated me to free attitude. I will never use MBE again. This location or any other. Not worth the risk to whatever i'm sending. read more

The customer service that Sai and Tori provide is above and beyond - as I am sure everyone that works at this UPS location does as well. Not only did they take my phone call without having to be put on hold or "accidentally" hung-up on, Sai took the time to LISTEN to the reason for my call, take my number, and did what she said she would do after some research was done on her end - SHE CALLED ME BACK! I know it's sad that I am surprised by something as simple as a call back, but in this day's provisions of "customer service", or lack there of, it's a breathe of fresh air when people actually do what they say they are going to do. They charged me a $5.00 computer fee even though I never used a computer, I sent my documents to print to the ups email, so I wouldn't have to use the computer. Then they tried to charge a $1.00 fee to run my card for less then $8.00, that is illegal just because you have a sign doesn't mean you can price gouge customers.
