Service was horrible !! They don't hire the right people they need to close down this location. I got my packages mixed up twice they lost two of my packages and this is my second time and when I call and ask the guy acts stupid like I don't come in every week to send packages to make extra money it's not over $100 in packages that's I'm not getting my money back from really disappointed!! And the first time the older lady was puffing a pen and I came into the ups store and I saw smoke coming from her mouth and again they couldn't refund me back my money for messing up my packages and I never got any money. I had to go here to process a legal document that was emailed to me. The busy but efficient staff were very pleasant and helpful. They helped me with forwarding that email, printing the shipping label and notarizing my signature on the document. There were other customers but I was in and out in 10-15 minutes with all tasks done. They even had a US mail drop so didn't even need to look for a mailbox. These folks were just great. Good service. Good attitudes. This is a well run shop. read more

I rarely leave reviews. However, after a bad experience at another UPS location yesterday and such a good experience at this location today I felt compelled. I needed notary services and booked an appointment online for myself and my mom. At this location, although there was only 1 employee working who was also the notary, we were able to get the help needed. The customer service at this location was great. Ingrid was the sole employee this morning and easily transitioned between helping us and the other customers coming in to drop items off. This location has all my business from now on. read more

Phenomenal place! I was in Santa Rosa visiting from the South Bay all day when I decided I could knock out some errands here- namely, taking a passport photo. I picked this UPS store given its close proximity to where I was. I called in advance to check that they do passport photos and that appointments are not required- yes to both! I went in right away, was greeted by a wonderfully kind lady, and she promptly had my photos taken and printed out. Super quick! The store was very neat and organized, and parking was a breeze. I blew off what a snarky brat the counter girl is on my last visit. But you know how annoying it is that they post certain hours but then close in the middle of the day and leave a note that says back at 4:15? Six people came and went in that time. You expect UPS Store to be like FedEx or USPS. It's 4:15 and they are still not here. You don't expect to have to drive back through traffic later in the day because you chose UPS. So annoying! I might add that Dallas C. came back smelling like marijuana 20 minutes later and then sent me a nasty message personal about my comment. No wonder they have such poor reviews. Very unprofessional. This place is our go-to for all of our shipping or mailing needs. Great place to drop off Amazon returns or ship a package. But here's the reason why it's the best place: the customer service here! Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and helpful. The number one employee here is definitely Kyrsten. She is so incredibly friendly and kind. She's very efficient and nice to interact with. It's rare to see such a good employee at this type of corporate job. You can tell she really cares about her work. I wish I felt that way about my own job! The experience and customer service I had today at this SR Ave Location could not have been any better!!! I was helped immediately by the superbly skilled Kyrsten, who offered to come out to my car and carry in 2 market umbrellas while I carried in smaller boxes. The owner was one of the most dishonest thieves I've ever dealt with. I went in to ship a 12 pound motorcycle seat which was a 36"x16"x16" box. He charged $40.00 for the box and packaging and $65.00 to ship to Montana. I was going to get the materials to package it myself but then he roped me in quickly with saying he'd take 15% off the package and 5% off the shipping but it still came out to over $97.00. Right after the transaction I checked with USPS (post office) and they would of charged no more than $25.00 for the box and packing and about $21.00 to ship it. I immediately called back the ups store to try and get a refund on the shipping and to pick the box up (just paying for the box and shipping elsewhere) but he said that everything was already done for the day and that the package was in transit yet I could still come and pick the box up at the store that day with no refund. By far the very worst service I have ever experienced. If I could give no stars I would. The package I shipped USPS cost twice what it would have cost at the post office. I understand there is a premium for services provided, IF they are provided. The gentleman that helped me offered UPS and USPS. The package I was shipping was for Christmas, 8 days (7 business) before the holiday (CA- HI - I have shipped a dozen packages USPS over the last two years, the longest shipping was 4 days and cost me less than $18). I selected the USPS $58.89 service because it was approx $70 cheaper than UPS. I was NOT told that the package may not arrived before Christmas, nor did I sign anything stating that fact. This is my daughters first Christmas away from home and she will not have her gifts for another 3-6 weeks. There is no way I could describe the hurt and frustration I am feeling. I called the US Post office directly 3 different times and spoke to 3 different people, all informed me that it was the way the item as shipped and easily could have been a guaranteed 3 day Priority service for a 25-35% increase (still well below the UPS cost). They also informed me that the package was shipped for $29 (UPS premium 2x the amount?!?!) When I called to talk to the store and ask if they could shed any light or help I was told there was nothing they could do (this I figured) and that it was my fault for wanting the most cost effective way. I explained I would have happily paid the difference if I'd known. I wont ever be using this store again and will never recommend it to anyone. There was no convenience or reason to pay an exorbitant amount. Next time I will wait in line at the post office, get a free box, ship my package for far less and have the delivery guaranteed within 3 shipping days. read more

This is the most ridiculous and unreliable UPS i have ever been to. I dropped off 2 packages 1 for UPS and the other for USPS. The owner said that he would hand over the package to USPS. I dropped off the packages on Dec 11th 2014 and today is Dec 19th 2014 and my USPS package was never received by USPS and the owner of the UPS store says that he does not takes any ownership of the lost package and now I am at the loss of $65.00 because he lost the item. I would request everyone to read my review and other people review before you go to this store... I have dropped of my USPS return items to other UPS before and never had any issue but this UPS is off the hook.... Please think before you use it. read more

This is usually a great store, if you dont have an issue. I really dont appreciate the girl behind the counter making comments after i leave the store. There was a bit of confusion about what labels were needed, so i questioned it. As i left the store and turned back, other customers turned to look at me after the girl made some statement. Last time I went to a UPS store at the other Santa Rosa Store, the package I brought in was badly taped. The UPS representative was super nice and told me that they could help tape my packages in the future. She then helped me tape my package more securely with their packaging tape and she told me next time if I didn't have tape to just bring it on on, and UPS would be happy to tape it for me. So, I come into this UPS store, thinking I would get the same service. Nope! They are charging $1 for tape for each box. that I was bringing in to be shipped. Even when I explained to her that other UPS stores did not charge me but even offered taping services, she just said every UPS stores was different. I was annoyed so I took my boxes and left. read more

I have been coming to this store for a couple years and for a while it was a complete dump and I had to forgo going to this store for the last year or so but now everything seems to be so much better. The staff seem to be pretty accommodating and the prices seem to become so much better. I think there was a change in owners in I last came and these guys are running a much better operation. I initially came back in a rush just to toss off an amazon package and saw how much cleaner the place was. Then I had to ship my sisters painting back to wisconsin and I decided to give them another major change and they did not disappoint, everything was priced fairly to me and I think they won me back as a customer after that! read more

I was so disappointed by this place today! Ive gone to this UPS Store numerous times and Ive always had a really great experience until today. Normally the older indian gentleman that works there is the one who helps me and there have been a few times hes helped me box and wrap packages Im shipping. They've never been over 10lbs. This time my package was about 40lbs after he did all the packaging. I told him before hand I wanted to send it through the United States Postal Service because I knew it would be cheaper, I just wanted to pay for the boxing and wrapping. He had told me that his store can send it UPS or USPS and he would give me the estimate on both prices. While he was packing my items (which I had already done most of the work for him) I decided to go online to the USPS website to get an estimate. I put the exact weight, size of the box, and where it was being shipped to. It showed me $46. So when he was done and gave me an estimate for the UPS it was $99 he told me for the USPS it was $200. I told him that was crazy, and showed him on my phone what the USPS website showed me $46. He said there was no way this was completely wrong. I told him we were still going to go ship it at the USPS. Then he goes to charge me for the boxing. $49 he told me. For a box and some foam, he said it was for his time and labor. I could have bought that box for $10 and foam for $10. So I take my $40lb box to USPS they charge me $46 and $5 for $250 worth of insurance and the package would get there in 3 days! Never again will I ever go to this store! This guy is a liar and manipulator! USPS for now on! read more
