Received very poor quality customer service/ interaction with male associate on 1/15/26 around 10:40am. I requested tape to secure a set of music instruments (drums with mallets) together prior to return to Amazon. Associate insisted I just put it in a plastic bag, took item from my hands, and did this action. I repeated my desire to secure the mallets to the set of drums twice. Since he refused again, I said I can just take them home, tape them, and come back. 3-4 times repeating my request he seemed to get annoyed and took the tape out, taped the mallets to the set. Amazon has recently started to refuse refunds for missing/incomplete returns, so that's my reason for the request. I'll try to remember better to tape items at home, but this was a very simple request. I have had associates handle return items and bagging recently that have shown up as "incomplete" on Amazon's and I've spent additional time trying to correct the return later. This was at a UPS store branch. I also had two items end up mislabeled (associate somehow swapped the label)- this was at another location. I am very careful in how I handle and process returns, understand mistakes can be made, but please consider the customer's request in the future. Awful, do not go to this UPS store. I walked in the afternoon of March eleventh in good spirits. Christina found a way for me to print what I needed, regardless technical obstacles of my computer. Christina printed 233 pages , opening them from different folders very quickly and at the same time helping me to feel better that I am creating a traffic. They refused to notarize my document because I did not have a second page that only contained mailing instructions and had nothing to do with the signature or the content requiring notarization on page one. What an awkward experience trying to return something from amazon here. The manager, Christina was at the register. I originally tried to use the kiosk to return my item, but unbeknownst to me, the M bags were misplaced in the L section. Unable to fit my item in the bag, I went to the register for help. And she said that my item can fit into a L bag, I said I tried and it didn't. Then she stared at me for a solid 30 seconds. We both stood there in silence as she stared at me. So weird?? She took out a bag and bagged my item and said, "see!" I walked over to the kiosk and showed her. This is what was in the L section. And she told me it was a M bag. I'm sorry, how would I know?l if the bags are misplaced? It's really hard to believe this person is in a manager position with such poor csr. Once I became a mailbox patron and started visiting the store on a regular basis, the entire UPS crew has treated me "like a member of the family,' especially Christina. The warm greeting and smiles was only the beginning. Whether I had a package to mail or pick up, the service was respectful and friendly. I had previously written a very good and honest review for this store. But today and several more times in previous months, I've been having problems that no loyal customer to this store should have to endure. When I first fallen down right by the front entrance of store no one had come out to check on me despite my crying out for help. They ignored me until the ambulance came. They didn't care or want to get involved despite the fact that we were friends for a long time already. Now I come here to return my packages and I don't receive a single hello, or at least a genuine one. But usually there is not greeting of any kind. When I called to ask him about what to do if I had a refused package. The new hires didn't have a clue on what to do or give any kind of information. Useful or otherwise. I have been parked in the same spot today for the last 3 hours. My car was rear ended by a guy and he agreed to accept he was at fault. He calls his mom and she shows up extra hostile snd was pressuring him to lie that nothing happened and my car had no damages. The ups store didn't come through for me once again and their drivers that showed up did not do anything either. I get its not their job to get involved but there is no humanity with these people. I had some amazin packages to return to ups but one driver is blocking me in completely so I cannot get out. He was also equally rude and refused to move over so I could get out. I got really really really really bad service here. The lady at the counter lied to me. I asked her to retype the name of the sender because she had it all lowercase. I said it looks weird that it's all lowercase. And then she said oh it'll print out all caps when I print the label. Well she downright lied. And when I caught her in the lie and told her that I saw that the label printed in all lowercase she just laughed and then ignored me. I just walked away to avoid further conflict but that to me is downright rude and evil. And I don't know how people like that sleep at night. Like is it that hard to retype a person's name for someone? Like in a UPS truck, they really know how to cram a bunch of stuff into a relatively small space at the UPS Store on Homestead Rd. This is a one-stop shop for packing and shipping, mailboxes, printing, fax, notary, fingerprinting, and passport photo services. The storefront is fairly small yet feels uncrowded. I came here to drop off a package with a prepaid label. I put the package on the scale for the associate to weigh, out came the receipt, and done! In and out in 40 seconds. Orders of magnitude more efficient than any trip to the post office. This store is in the Mariposa Shopping Center and shares parking with several other businesses, but I've never seen the parking lot get terribly crowded. This is a convenient neighborhood location, and it's good to know that when I need any of the aforementioned services, this place has me covered! read more

Standard UPS experience, but recently switched to a self service model for Amazon returns. Super long lines and waits while staff mostly stare at you. Only 2 kiosks for returns and directions aren't super clear at the outset. They need more kiosks or staff should assist when not helping other customers. There are too many variables to make this self service. Other services: the notary service is quite expensive, especially given there is a much less expensive one available nearby. Shipping process is pretty standard and competitive with other nearby options. read more

I went to UPS to ship some very important items but also very large. There was a little mishap in the middle of the transport of my items so when I called UPS in Santa Clara on Homestead, I was explaining that I hadn't received anything yet and I was going to tell the person on the other end of my call, my name, she quickly said that yes, she knew who I was and had gotten word that my packages were floating around somewhere in Chicago. This was Christina M. She quickly let me know that she'd been made aware of this and was already calling and emailing people to get my packages to where they needed to be. Christina then told me she was going to get to the bottom of this and would call me right back. She kept her word. She called me back as soon as she had the information, filled me in on the situation and promised to let me know as soon as she knew where everything was and gave me a time frame of when my things were coming in. Christina and her team made it happen. She gave me a tracking number and apologized for the confusion and told me that she would handle the rest. Christina and her team really did come through for us. Thank you so much!!!! I know it's just stuff to some people, but that stuff meant and means so much to us and Christina was able to remedy this without any further incident. We are so grateful. Thank you for making our transition to our new home, across the country, easier. So professional and polite and calmed me down when I thought I almost had to panic. read more

The efficiency of this store is staggering! It was busy when I was there, but it was still nearly immediately in and out!

I have been seeing a lot of negative reviews and I have to say I really like this store, no one has given me a hard time at all. In fact, they are way more helpful than the one I used to go to, which requires me to buy packing tape and boxes for a return with a QR code which got a little bit old after a while. That location is very friendly and nice but they charge you unnecessarily, which is not nice to me! This location very fast, and busy, and usually way ahead of other stores. They have an area where you can help yourself to do your returns with a QR code. In fact, an young male employee guided me through and showed me and he was about as nice as could be and I was semi-organized, not what I like to be. I dropped off some items to a lady who was not overly friendly but very helpful and fast. Not sure where the disconnect is, but I want them to know that they are doing a lot RIGHT! =) I'm usually organized, but once I get to the store sometimes I am not and they don't have a problem with me, they are pretty awesome! If anyone gives me a hard time, I will update my review but I am not expecting it while I respect the other reviews. UPS and FedEx are high volume and busy so I expect it to be a busy hectic environment sometimes depending when I go. I'm arranging my next returns to this location. I like the system and helping myself when I can. Being in customer service is not an easy job, I know, I have done it myself! IF YOU HAVE ANY VALUABLE ITEMS TO BE SENT OUT, SENDER BE ADVISED!!! I specifically chose this UPS because my gift is a good value to it. First off, I made sure that my box was properly and clearly written so nothing like this would happen. It was properly packaged, triple boxed at that... and long story short: they don't have a clue where my package is. After finding out that my package did not have any updates since Monday, I decided to call. Barry was kind enough to have called the hub for a tracer to be placed on my package... but I absolutely expected more for this place. I literally went out of my way to come first thing in the morning to have this shipped out. It's supposed to make it to Michigan this week. THere weren't any options for "guaranteed" shipping at that date, so I figured I would pay the $32 for 3-day shipping it out rather than the $85 price mark for a 2-day "not guaranteed" shipment to follow through. Good customer service, but at an inconvenience. Now Barry said they have to locate my package first and then they'll get back to me. Of all the things to get lost, lol. Just my luck huh. Waiting for their call. I should've just stuck to my local one instead with their 3-star review. 4 stars, haha, How?! Now the "investigation" will possibly take 8-10 days per Barry's response. I am completely disappointed with this place and I hope if you're reading this you will reconsider going here. Response to the owner: the package states "It's on its way." Since when does a package not get scanned and have a location for it? So while it may not be the individual's fault who is helping out with the claim at this time, there was a fault that happened with the transition from your store to the hub. There's always a process for it to be scanned, and it does not show it was scanned there. This is NOT my first time shipping via UPS, so yes, there was a ball dropped here. read more
