Simply the best customer support of any store I've ever been to. It was the end of the day at UPS. Always busy at this popular store, just before closing. I had tried every way possible to reroute a package online and from the seller. Frustrated and disappointed, I asked for help in person. Jessica and Loretta worked with me for an hour, even staying a half hour after closing time. Software glitches, numerous calls, they were resourceful, encouraging and persistent. They cheered me up. They finally resolved my issue. Generous. Professional. Kind. 80 years old I am. Seen a lot. This store, this team - extraordinary! read more

This is a great UPS store! Things move fast here and that's great. I've used the store to send packages, Amazon returns, passport photos and notary services. read more

Need to return something? Many retailers and manufacturers collaborate with The UPS Store to provide an incredibly convenient return service. Once the business you're returning to sends you a prepaid return label, just print it out and take it, along with the item you're returning, to an approved UPS store. You don't even need to pack your item for shipping; UPS will scan the label and handle the rest, and, you, having spent zero dollars, are done! No matter how many times I use this service, I feel guilty, like I'm taking advantage of someone's good nature. But as long as they're offering, I'm accepting... read more

My local UPS store, with the kindest and most helpful employees. I always come here to ship my packages and do my Amazon returns, usually during rush hour. All the employees here are so amazing and patient, no matter how many packages I have. And now they have an extra Amazon return station which is a plus! Thank you so much to Loretta and Reid who always catch me with my handfuls of packages but make the process go by so much faster! read more

great store! They are always very helpful with package pickup and my mailbox. It's a busy place, but they keep customers moving!

Today I had some confusing returns, and Leilani helped me with a cheerful attitude and extra help! Love this store!! read more

Update on the rude customer service here: The older woman is friendly now. There's a young male employee who is helpful. One of the employees with tattoos can be polite. But this is a more typical experience: I was coming in a few times per week. One female employee always acts like she's never seen me before. There's a young male employee who responded with "Can I help you with something?" after I asked him how he was doing. He cut a box for me. When I got home, I had to go out to buy another box because he didn't pay attention and slashed the box too far. I only went to this location because it was convenient. The unfriendly to the point of being rude service sure wasn't bringing me back. read more

I love this shop. They're always helpful. Thankful to have a business like this in my own community. Well done!

Leilani was so helpful. I truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness. She is. An amazing assistant manager. She has impeccable customer service. 5 goldd starts for her. Thank you Leilani read more

This has been my go-to UPS store for all of my mail/paper needs for almost 10 years: returns, mailboxes, shipments, printing, shredding. They even take USPS parcels and collaborate with USPS to ship out. For this reason I never go to usps anymore, I just ship everything from this store. There is another location closer to me but I come to this one because of the impeccable service I get every single time. Loretta is my absolute hero. The patience of that lady does not know limits. My deepest gratitude to everyone working in this store. read more

Joesph was super helpful! He went above and beyond to find my package. 5 stars for him. NO STARS for girl that was working. Rude to every person and just kept telling him they don't have it. Take some of Joseph's customer service skills or find a new job where you don't deal with people. read more

This is a small store located in the grocery outlet shopping center off Waring Road. Eric and Lauretta were extremely helpful, patient and kind. I sincerely appreciated their positive attitudes and sense of urgency to work quickly to get the line down without compromising the customer experience. They went above and beyond to assist me during a busy time and I really appreciated it. They are hard working and the store is small but clean. I would definitely come back. Thanks for the excellent service and kindness! read more

Eric was very helpful. Came in to ask about a first shipment for my business sales out of state, told him i wasnt looking to send it out just comparing rates. Gave me the amount which was more than Usps and told me usps is best for smaller items and ups will be better for bigger heavier items. read more

Very Helpful with a very heavy box. Quick and easy great UPS store. Convenient to Kaiser.

Amazing service! My coworkers and I came in on a Friday towards the end of the day with nearly 30 small boxes that all needed to be shipped to different locations. I can only imagine how awful it must have been for them when we walked in with such a large order at 5pm on a Friday! Instead of moaning & groaning (which we would have totally understood!!), KEVIN took us in and displayed the most patience in customer service ever. Eric (Erik?) was also working and they both helped get all of our boxes to where they needed to go. Thank you Kevin & Eric for making what could have been a terrible experience an absolute delight. They chatted with us throughout the entire time and kept things light and fun. Thank you & we will absolutely be back! read more

Fast, accurate and Friendly! Simple to get into the business to return items, so fast I was shocked!

The ladies who work here are always really nice and quick. Even when there's a long line, they really work hard in getting people what they need quickly. When I bring my Amazon returns, it's pretty much drop-off and scan, and that's it. They also have a notary service here, which takes about 5-10 minutes, if that, to get done. read more

They work hard and pretty fast. I forget the name of the lady who helped me but it was a packed day. She was absolutely hustling and deserves a raise! read more

It's seems strange to say "this is my favorite UPS store" but being avid Amazon buyers, we find ourselves needing to return items from time to time. So I have been to tons of these UPS's in the area. This one is super efficient, has a kids play table, lots of space, plenty of parking. Quick in and out, just what we need. read more

Immediately hung up on the first call before I had a chance to say one word. The follow up call resulted in being put on hold with static, after a few minutes I gave up. There's a store down the road on Mission Gorge. Go there instead. read more

I really appreciate the comprehensive service provided by this UPS store's manager and her staff. The wait is never long and they all seem happy to be of help. In particular, I enjoy interacting with a young woman named Leilani. She is quick, efficient, and extremely pleasant. On my frequent visits for help with Amazon returns, she always manages to welcome me with a smile that lights up my day! read more

Best ups store consistently they are ready to assist u happily!!! Everyone there is knowledgable and the wait time always short!

I don't need to come here too often but have come for personal reasons and have also come to send out amazon returns. I came on my own to send a package to a friend. I was shocked at the price compared to the post office however compared to the creep who works at the post office, I would pay that price. Every time I drop a package off for an amazon return it is super quick and easy, I just bring the package to the staff at the counter, they give me a receipt and I am on my way. The staff is always helpful and friendly. There is ample parking. read more

I give this location 3 stars for average... I walked in the door and immediately the customer service lady (Loretta) started giving me guff about my box being too big. She tried telling me I need to take it to Kearny Mesa even though it fit through the door. Luckily she quickly moved on to a different customer and the other associate Dylan was pleasant to work with. I would like to add that Larreta is a older lady and Dylan was very young. It's funny how people rag on young people but in this instance he Dylan was very professional and courteous where the older employee (Loretta) was not polite and seemed like she didn't care to be there. I WOULD GIVE DYLAN 5 STARS and Loretta 1 Star. Step up your game Loretta and be kind to customers they put food on your table. read more

Fast service and friendly staff. No problem with amazon returns and printing for my sons school projects

For a customer service company, the staff seems like they hate their jobs and would rather be doing anything else. Especially the woman who appears to be the manager. I've never seen her in a good mood. I am sad that she hates her job so much. She has never been kind even when I try to be friendly and kind to her. I understand her job may be stressful, but her condescending attitude actually makes my day far worse. I'd go somewhere else if there was an option close. read more

Harsh reviews, but don't knock this place. Noone ever bothers to give a review of a public restroom, but yet, they are necessary and useful things. So too, the UPS store. SO here I go. I have come here many times to notarize documents and they always have a notary on hand who charges $10. Very convenient, easy and professional. No need to consult an attorney at $150+/hr. I have always been treated with respect and kindness. Parking out front is always easy, they are incredibly accommodating and I've never had to wait more than 5 min for service. When you read these neg reviews, you have to also realize that mistakes happen everywhere, and the angriest people are usually the most likely to write reviews. I feel bad for them, but I am so grateful this place exists. read more

Yet another disappointment!! I'm so sick of this shitty location and poor customer service. I don't know who this business is ran by but I'm convinced she's racist. This time I was with my boyfriend and in a rush so I couldn't drive to where I normally go. I walk in behind an older man " Mr. Jenner " she greets him and says oh hi Mr. Jenner but doesn't say a word to me. I'm here to send a shirt she says grab the small bag ( nothing in there looks like a damn bag instead and envelope) so as she's pointing I'm confused at what she's referring to she continues to point and say " THE SMALL THE SMALL THE SMALL " like how about you come from behind the counter and do your job. I swore by myself they'd never get my business but I do not Cee how much of a rush I'm in ill never ever go to this location ever again in my life. Last time I went early in the morning today I'm in at 4:30 SCREW THIS HORRIBLY RAN/MANAGED location. They need to do something read more

I am in this particular UPS shop at least once a week and am grateful for the great service! Loretta, Denae, Jonathan and the entire crew are awesome. I was there just yesterday (twice) and Denae helped packaging something for me. It was like watching tetris LIVE. You always feel welcome and know that you will be helped by courteous, professional and kind people. PS - don't forget to show your AAA card to get a little extra off your UPS sale :) read more

I went to my neighborhood UPS store to get some copies of my manuscript printed. I can't tell you how professional and enthusiastic Annie was in helping me complete this project. In a few short minutes it was like we had known each other forever and she became part of this very important and sentimental part of my life. And most importantly, every copy of the 200 pages came out perfectly! read more

I've been here twice now. The first time I came, the power was out, so I came back the next day. The younger lady was nice and helpful even though she couldn't use half of the equipment. That doesn't bother me at all. I came back because customer service is everything. I just came here again because I liked the customer service I previously had, and this is where I'm frustrated. There was no one in the store besides one other man who was being helped. I had something simple to get shipped and the other lady just had me write the address. I was done and ready to have everything shipped by the time she walked away. I sat at the register waiting for her to help me. No big deal. Someone else comes in, she decides to help them out for 10 minutes instead of helping me. 10 minutes later, a few more people come in. She decides to cash them out. She looks at me, and continues to not help me out even though I'm standing there patiently with my card out and ready to go. It took me standing there for 25 minutes waiting to be cashed out, but instead I was ignored, so I left and had to go to a different location which could actually help me out. Customer service is everything to me. This was frustrating. What's the kicker was one of the guys who was helped out, saw me waiting, and he walked out a little before me and made a comment when we were getting into our cars on how it was weird that this lady was clearly ignoring me. Won't be here again, which is unfortunate because it's close to my work. read more

From almost the day this location opened to soon become a UPS franchise, I have utilized their numerous services for my law practice and personal things. When I met the manager, LORETTA, she impressed me by how she instantly is ready to serve a customer's needs, always with a smile and knowledgeable about all of their services, of which there are many we have utilized and have always been extremely pleased; these include: shipping and packaging of course, their copy service, custom binding and collating of legal briefs and motions, notary, and occasionally stationery supplies. Loretta and her team stand out as exceptional when comparing them to the enormous number of postal offices, as well as countless related stores and centers. I am giving them as they truly deserve "five" stars, which is the highest rating possible on Yelp. read more

Quick service, clean and I no lines when I went. I will totally refer to other people to use their services.

Every time I come in here for shipping services they are great! Loretta is awesome at what she does and the rest of the employees are very friendly themselves. Wow, can't say enough about their high level of customer satisfaction. I don't ever leave this place feeling like i had a negative experience. Employees are happy and good at what they do. My first time at the store. I couldn't have been happier despite the wait. It was crazy busy this morning. Even when some of the customers were a bit rude, the 2 ladies there were always respectful. Loretta and Denae, sad that you had to go through a lot this morning, but ladies, your work ethic was impeccable. Denae, thank you for taking care of the pictures and packages. You are so wonderful. Hope both of you get a bit of time to rest. read more

I am a regular at the Waring Road UPS Store. And I have to say they are the kindest and most professional source of shipping and mailing that I have ever experienced. I've rented a mailbox there, received notary services and shipped like crazy. The entire team is fantastic. And a special shout out to Denae! She treats you like you are the most important person in the room! And Denae even takes the time to get to know you and ask about you. She noticed my brother hadn't been in a while and asked about him consistently when finding out he had a heart attack. When does that happen these days from a shipping store. Great job team Waring UPS!!!! The best! read more
