Walked in while the employee was helping another customer, which is fine. The were chatting about concerts and the pics she was printing for him. However, I've been standing in line for almost 10 minutes without a single acknowledgement to me when I entered or while waiting , neither to the customer behind me. Its unprofessional in my opinion. Tia always looks miserable working here. I have came a couple of times to get a documents notarized and I have had an issue every time. There was a lady returning multiple items and she was okay with me being helped first since she knew she was taking a while. Tia said "Nah the notary is going to take a minute" and helping the other lady was 15 mins plus. I know a simple letter notary does not take a while as I am a notary as well. If she does not like working with customers maybe she should find a job where it is not customer based. The lady in front got out of the way because she knew she was taking a long time and a line was forming. Tia processed to state she was unable to log into her notary to notarize my simple document. Update I was able to come to the location on Broadway and the staff were so helpful and the system worked just fine. I was in and out in 3 minutes. This was one of the worst experiences that I have had with shipping an important document. I placed an order on 4-12-24 @ 1:08pm to have two documents sent via NEXT day mail so:, that they would arrive via 4-15-24 b/w the hours of 10:30am and 6:00pm. Now, the address that I was mailing it to was located on the bottom of the official documents and I gave it to them and I was told that the location that I provided was not ACCURATE and I asked them if they were SURE? Nicholas, the clerk , assisting me with this order said that the computer kept changing it to this NEW address and that was the ONLY ONE that it would ship to... Now, my job is NOT TO SHIP THINGS... so, SILLY ME, I decided to trust that UPS might actually know what they were doing in regards to what they were doing and after reassuring me on multiple times that my package would arrive by MONDAY on 4-15-24... Guess what happened? You guessed it... I get a call at 11:18am from the UPS store on Monday... Now, I play with chemicals at my current job and I couldn't step away so, I called them about about 40 minutes later and I got Nicholas and I asked them if there were any problems with my documents and I was told that the UPS person needed to call me back and he would do so as soon as they could... I did not receive a call... I kept track of the shipment and it did not arrive on 4-15-24... Now, I called the UPS store the morning of 4-16-24 and I get the manager, Taj Lewis, and I asked him what was going on with my package/documents and I was told about the situation. I was also TOLD that DESPITE THE FACT that I had given them the CORRECT ADDRESS THE FIRST TIME that because I signed off on THEIR INCORRECT DIRECTIONS.. remember, their job is know how to ship things, not mine.. That, I WAS NOT ENTITLED TO A REFUND and here is the BEST PART... THAT IF I HAD CARED ABOUT THE DELIVERY... I WOULD HAVE ANSWERED WHEN HE CALLED... Now, let that MARINATE for a MINUTE... I did not get mad when I didn't here back from them because I thought they might have gotten busy... But, I have a real world job where I play with chemicals and I can't just STEP AWAY to answer the phone like a lot of people and that means that I do not CARE about the package that I paid so much to be delivered in a TIMELY MANNER? REALLY?!? I have only written ONE BAD REVIEW in my entire life and this will be #2!! One, he told me that I could not expect him to know all of the locations in the US... Yes, yes, I do... That is your job... You ship and deliver things... If you do not like that part of your job... Find one that you like and own it when you mess up. 2) If you convince the customer to change an address then you owe them a refund. YOU as the MANAGER are responsible for TRAINING your employees. OWN THAT. When my patients and/or clients are not happy... guess what... I make it right... 3) At this point, I want to let people know that if they have an issue with this store and in particular this manager that you will not get a positive resolution. He will also take it personally if you cannot answer his calls on HIS time schedule and that is NOT how customer service works at any business. I ship A LOT and I only tried UPS because I was told that they were heads and tails above FedEx. While, I can say that Nicholas was a very nice gentleman and that the customer service lady at corporate was excellent. I would not trust any important or official documents be sent through this particular location. I would go back to FedEx on Broadway. Hands down. read more

It's an occasional stop for me... staff is always friendly. Located in the same shopping center as Goodwill and Asian Buffet... and right across Austin Hwy from HEB. Today, I had an Amazon return. It was easy peasy to pull up the QR code which printed a label and that was it. read more

I shipped out 5 boxes and was charged an additional $4 per box for the shipping labels. Fee for which I was told had to be paid separately and was charged under "work order" on the receipt. For whatever reason it could not be charged to my company's account. We have a corporate account and have used UPS for the last 15+ years. This is the first I have ever heard of this work order shipping fee. The review is not about the additional $20 I paid for shipping labels, it is about unethical business practices. We will likely be using FedEx going forward. If you are going to use UPS go to a different store. read more

TAJ SAVED THE DAY! I had a difficult situation with a lot of packing and changes on the fly. Not only was Taj incredibly helpful, efficiently sorting through my dilemma, and was also able to attend to other customers and keep the store running smoothly. He even apologized to me for the delays which I think was above and beyond considering it was me who showed up to the store in such disarray. Excellent customer service from Taj and the driver (Jeremy) who made sure my parcels made it on the last truck out. The shipping costs were high but with very clear explanation I understood why and appreciated the professional advice for best results. Taj Seems to be leaving his own reviews. There is no way that he is giving great customer service. If he is not the owner of this store I feel bad for the person that is!! I asked if I can mail a battery and his answer was well I don't think so. I simply said well do you know or don't you. He said ma'am I gave you an answer. Then I said I don't think so is not an answer. Taj finally replied well you don't have the battery here so it's hard for me to tell. I think we could've started from there instead of all the back-and-forth. He actually sounded very frustrated at me, and all I wanted to do was use the service. The service at this store is for lack of a better phrase "last place". The service is slow, I wasn't attended to at all once I came in to do a simple return. There was some girl with glasses there who was helping someone in front of me, she was taking forever and seems to not getting no where with her help. It was my turn and then she gave me a mean look an attitude. I told her never mind and left. If you can't deliver customer service you shouldn't be in front of a store. The people at the UPS Store on Austin Highway are actually wonderful. My problem is with United Parcel Service. I mailed packages to 3 different locations. All 3 packages had bottles with liquid. The bottles were in ziploc bags (in case they broke or leaked), then wrapped in bubble wrap, then packed in more bubble wrap and tissue paper. When I took them to the UPS store the packages did NOT rattle, you could hear the liquid move but they were packed such that the bottles wouldn't move. Two of these packages made to their destinations, the third made it all the way to Portland, OR and then I get a notice at 9:03pm on Dec 18th, informing me: Exception Reason: Your package was damaged in transit. We will notify the sender with details. Exception Resolution: All merchandise discarded. UPS will attempt to notify the sender with details of the damage. On Saturday I get a call from Kathy the manager at the UPS Store, telling me that the package has been damaged and that I need supply them with a receipt for what I had in the package so that it a claim can be put in. Monday, Kathy calls me and says that the claim has been denied because it wasn't packed properly. How can it not be packed properly when it made it all the way to Portland and the other packages made it to San Jose, CA and Dallas, TX with out a problem. I asked if there were photos and was told no. Apparently Kathy was told all this by the person at UPS, a Sarah ( I have her full name but guidelines say I can't use it). My question to Sarah is how could an investigation have taken place with out photos? If there are no photos then you can't be making a decision on good information, unless Sarah is there at the plant in Portland - which I doubt. I'm never going to use UPS again. read more

The lady was 15 minutes late to work today, did not greet me as I entered, not even attempt to apologize for being late. That's my gripe with the employee alone. Now for the business side: they charge $2.00 just to print a file from email. I have the file on my phone and have all the capabilities of air drop the files right to the printer, to print right from my phone, but they aren't "equipped for that kind of technology" and refuse to offer any alternative but one where they charge two fucking dollars just to open a file from an email. That's straight up robbery. I paid it today because I was in a hurry thanks to your late ass employee, but I will be going somewhere else in the future, probably kinkos. Will also be switching the name from "UPS" to "OOPS" in my phone to remind me to stay away from them for everything in the future. read more

I went to the UPS on Austin Highway. First thing I have to say, is, I don't know who these losers are, along with their 3 or 4 friends, that wrote those mean & nasty reviews, but they are DAMNED liars. I have NO dog in this fight, but their reviews are as full of holes as their dirty underwear are, that is, if they even wear any. I have VERY rarely written reviews, but when I read these EXTREMELY ugly reviews, I said ENOUGH. I have gone to this UPS for several years, and this UPS is just fantastic. I was there on 6 December 2018, & I witnessed the racial overtones this EXTRMELY nasty skag is talking about. She used profanity & VERY obviously was brought up on the wrong side of the tracks. Let me tell y'all something, this young man, Taj helped me mail a pkg back to Amazon, & we ALL know what a hassle that is. Well, I left my phone there, Taj called OVER 14 people till he finally contacted my sister. Kevin (his boss) was getting ready to bring it to my house, by the return address on my pkg. So, ALL you little nasty skags, y'all seem to have FORGOTTEN one thing, there are CAMERAS recording EVERYTHING. FOUR of y'all are liars & shame on you trying to ruin this man's company and ruin TAJ, and YES, that is his name. This is a wonderful place to take care of ALL your needs. Any other place would have stolen my expensive cell phone. But NOT at THIS UPS. I urge you to take your business there. You are always greeted as a friend. Do NOT believe those FOUR liars.
