The owners go over and beyond to create a welcoming and helpful experience. Their employees treat everyone professionally and always offer a smile and kind words. I believe this comes from proper training and the fact that they are happy with how they are treated by their employer. I have been going here for years and just the last 2 visits I have decided the Post Office is better. I am handicapped. I came in today, Tuesday at 9:05am. I had 2 big packages to mail out. Daisy was assisting notary for a customer. She said she will be right with me. Well I stood there 10 minutes as more customers came in. She still was helping same customer. Only her there. Well I decided not to wait. That's the whole reason I used them was faster. But the last 2 times I have had to wait over 10 minutes and overpaid. That's not ok with me. An example of what I saved going to the Post Office. One box with 200.00 insurance priority mail was 15.80 the second was 13.50. The same boxes I took to UPS store a month ago costed me 29.00 and 33.00. That's almost double the amount of postage. Just a heads up check it out. I was shocked and will NEVER GO BACK TO UPS Store. Go to the post office use the machine they have in lobby fast and easy. I feel good knowing I am saving alot of money not just a couple of bucks. I went there to get my live scan finger prints done and I took my younger sister who is 17 years old and is physically and mentally challenged. The young lady who initially greeted us was really nice. Then the older lady who does the fingerprinting told me that no one can come with me when I get finger printed. So I asked her if my sister can wait in the store, not necessarily with me where the live scan machine is. She then rudely said no, that children are not allowed unattended. Wow...really??!! She told me that I could come back another time when she's not with me. I am my sister's FT care taker...there is no other time when I'm not with her. I was super upset and told her I'll just go elsewhere. And I did. I went to the UPS store in Corona off Magnolia and Rimpau. Soooo much better. And the man who did my live scan did not say anything about my sister being with me. At least my money and business went elsewhere to someone who deserved it. read more

Just a terrible experience again so I have to post. Spent lots of money here in the last few years and it's always been mediocre at best. Today I had just a ups package to drop off. I needed one small piece of tape and they told me it would be a $1 tape fee. I would have paid the stupid fee but I only had a credit card. Then she tells me there's a $4 minimum to charge. HORRIBLE!!!!! I was mailing my Wedding Centerpieces to Cabo, Mexico for a destination wedding. My shipment included 2 boxes inside another bigger box all bubble wrapped. The shipment was shipped via the UPS store located at 3400 La Sierra Ave, Riverside Ca 92503. I purchased glass cylinder vases from another company which was delivered to my home in perfect condition. I took the same boxes/shipment directly to UPS to then ship to Cabo, Mexico paying over $125 to ship. I brought everything in unopened and asked how to insure these were transported properly so that they would not break. The girl working stated she would make sure it's all taped up properly and will ship it. Never was I told that I could pay extra for her to pack it a different way to insure if it did break it would be covered. I asked if I should separate the boxes and send separately or if I should send it all together. I was advised all together. I followed up after my shipment was not received by my resort to find out that the Mexicans Customs refused the package due to it being severely damaged. I contacted the UPS store speaking to Patty the owner who said that the box was damaged in transit on the UPS truck to Cabo. The box will be taken back to her store for inspection, after the claim is filed I will receive $100 credit for the product and get my shipping costs refunded.. Patty texted me to advise she had not seen the package come in yet. The box was taken to my house, I texted her that night with the picutres of the damaged box. I packed the box in my car to bring back to the UPS STORE Friday 5/22/15. I texted Patty to tell her I would be bringing it in about 4:45pm. She texted back, "Go ahead and hang on to it. No need to bring it to us. I'll start the claim Tuesday when I get back to the shop. I'll be in touch with you next week. Have a great weekend." I asked, "Can I open it to see how back it is and what all needs to be replaced?" Patty responded via text, "Of Course!" I went home to unload the box. The bottom of the box had been destroyed, glass was coming out the bottom, got all over the back seat of my brand new car and continued to fall out as I brought it inside the garage. Glass was shattered everywhere. Seriously a brides nightmare. So I decided to take pictures of the damages and sent to Pattys cell phone. I threw the glass away as it was a hazard to keep around with a small child in the house. Patty stated that UPS will need to come to my house to inspect the package, I told her that all the glass was thrown away, she said it was ok and said that she would fwd the pictures to UPS corporate which I'm finding now that she did not do. I got an email today from Patty saying my claim for my request for refund was denied because they couldn't inspect my package. I told her that I had been advised by her, the owner through this process and if I would have known I would have brought it in Friday when I told her I was coming. I'm furious and so upset that I had to spend all this money on centerpieces to ship them by UPS paying even more money and have it be destroyed on the truck by the driver.. Now I'm out all the money, still need to find new centerpieces, pay more money and being told it's because I packed it not them that I will not get any amount refunded. I brought the package to UPS and asked how the best way to ship this was. They are the "professionals" they should be advising me, "the customer". This is the worst customer service and I am so upset that now I have to fight and argue to get my money refunded then go find new centerpieces weeks before my wedding. Called in advance, did no good they lied through their teeth about almost everything. Gave false info about insurance, wanted to charge $120 dollars more than the UPS hub while saying they were the same price. Measured package in their favor by pulling and twisting box. Pretty sure this was done because I'm 85 years old and they thought they could take advantage. read more

If I could rate this place with no stars I would. I went in to do a live scan and the older lady there said she needs to run my paperwork through to see my cost. She came back with $89.00! I asked her why is it so much when my paperwork for this location says the cost is $20, she tried to come up with an excuse of well you are adopting and so it makes it more expensive. I then told her no thank you that I would just make an appointment at the police department and they will only charge $10. She looked at me and with sarcastic smile and tone in her voice and said have a nice day then. Very rude! When I spoke with the adoption agency about it they told me she must have not put the billing code in right or she had no idea what she was doing. I advised them to contact who ever they need to so they can pull them off the list for live scans since there information listed is not correct. I will not be going here for any other reason due to the rude people working here. read more

Do not go to this UPS Store, I asked for a piece of masking tape and the lady told me it would be $1.00 charge....No wonder they are advertising to get you to rent a box from there, it's so they can charge u for everything! on 1/24/14. bought 40 pcs of usps. about an hour later, found out they charged 30.44 % more than face price ( 60c per pc when it was 46c) when asked refund, they will not do that cuz its their policy. no policy posted at all. they claims that they told us there would be a convinience fee but they never did. most of all, their attitude were so bad. beware!!! check the price before you pay and ask refund policy before you pay. read more

My daughter has been to this particular store twice in the past 30 days to have them simply fax a two-sided document and they have failed...TWICE!! For some reason they don't know how to use their fax machine and have no knowledge of the "2-sided - 2-sided" button feature on their machine. Sad. read more

Like many others who have written reviews, I have been overcharged for shipping at this store. Even though I tell them I want nothing extra - no tracking, no insurance, etc., they ring it up with the "extras," tell me the shipping cost and it is only after I leave that I realize they added extra charges. I swore I would never go back after about the third time this happened, but I went two days ago because it was more convenient than going to the post office. The package I sent was returned to me because they forgot to put the postage on it. I paid for the postage and have my receipt to prove it - but they didn't put the postage on the package. Honestly, these people are nice, but they are incredibly disorganized. I don't think they intentionally overcharge. They just don't pay attention to what they are doing. It's a bunch of kids working there and an older lady who apparently doesn't manage the store very well. read more
