Go anywhere else. I was just charged five dollars by the person working at the front desk to open an email for me and print a single piece of paper. $5.62 to be exact. Apparently $.20 isn't enough for a piece of paper, they now need to charge five dollars as a service fee for what is about 11 seconds of work. This is absolutely highway robbery. When I asked Vince about this outrageous price, since I am not only asking them to ship something today, but I have been and still am a long-term customer of this UPS store - renting out a large business mailbox and doing all of our major corporate shipping for conference booths, swag, etc. through their location for the last several years - he said I could thank Amazon and his manager, Justin, for this price. He then went on to tell me that Justin set this price because Amazon has taken all of their shipping business. Which has nothing to do with me and nothing to do with the fact that they're charging five dollars for a piece of paper. I wasn't even returning an Amazon package. It was A pair of sunglasses to a specific distributor who told me over the phone that I would not need to print the shipping label, but the store would handle it free of charge since they have an agreement with with UPS and they pay for prepackaged labels. Who owns a printer in 2024?! I'm not sure why I'm writing this, but maybe this will save somebody five dollars. Justin - maybe you guys should compete on services and price instead of jacking up the price for little stupid things like printing a piece of paper and then blaming it on a multi trillion dollar company. Don't print anything here! I just had to return an item that needed to be dropped off at UPS. I was required to print my shipping label (which I usually do at FedEx cause it's less than $1) but to save time, I called UPS ahead of time and asked if I needed to print it or if they offered printing. The guy on the phone said I did not have to print it and they would do it for me. I arrived and they charged me over $5 to print 1 small shipping label!!!! That's insane. I hope to avoid UPS at all costs and will be telling everyone I know to use FedEx services instead. read more

I have been a customer at this location for 2 years. I have spent thousands of dollars here. I went Friday to have 3 medications overnighted due to refrigeration needs. They were $605. I was told they would be there on Saturday by 2pm. I was very specific that it would need to be next day as they needed to be refrigerated . She offered Monday delivery for $112. Again I reiterated they needed to be there next day Saturday. She said it would be $157 for Saturday delivery. I called the recipient of the meds to confirm the price of $157 for Saturday delivery and they said to go ahead with the Saturday service . I was asked to confirm shipping address on the screen, signed off on it and went on my way. It ended up being delivered on Monday . I asked for a refund and was told to pound sand. I will never go to this UPS store again or any other UPS again. I contacted UPS corporate a d was fruitless. So not only am I out $157 for the shipping, I'm also out over $400 in spoiled meds. First impression was I wasn't sure if the guy behind the counter was new, or was just to preoccupied with his personal phone call to his "cuz". So he asked how I wanted to ship my package, and I said just stamp it. He let me know he was sorry but they had no stamps available all while on his phone call. So I asked can you just charge me shipping then? That's when he let his cousin on the phone know he'd call him back later. He then perked up a bit, and did his job quickly. Don't do business here if you expect to have your package properly delivered. I dropped off 2 packages and only one was delivered. When I pressed the manager for support - he simply said the package wasn't in his store anymore! No help, no remorse - nothing. I should have known and taken my packages to another store when the guys who took them didn't even speak to me but just grunted b/c I was interrupting his lunch. Furious that this is acceptable service and utter lack of support from this establishment. Never again! Now I'm out the money with no hope of finding my package, having it returned or delivered. All I can say is theres no customer service at this location bad experience I dont know if its because of there ages but i had to come back twice to get what i wanted and not by choice something as simple as a fax that wasnt sent correctly I paid for 2 faxes only one went through and I didn't notice till I got home. Basically the clerk rushed to get to next customer instead of finishing my transaction first and didnt check to see if both faxes went through . Charged me instead of verifying the faxes. J get stuff happen but I was there and I think they need to care for each cuztomer the same way and that would not happen. Do not do business here if you need your package delivered in a timely fashion!!! Long story short, a package was dropped off here to ship to my dad who was on vacation in CO. The package sat in the store for 2 days before getting shipped. Now it will arrive late and will have to be redelivered to CA- All on our dime!!! The manager, Oscar, knew exactly what was in the package though. Makes me wonder if it'll even show up or if it's in his back pocket. Lastly, good luck getting a hold of this place. The phone never gets answered. For the past 24 hours I've tried to call them. It's almost as if they've blocked my calls. I just wanted to know why the package didn't get shipped on Friday evening, Saturday evening , but finally Monday evening. It was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday now it won't arrive until Thursday. I also sent them an email through their website. Yet nothing. I needed to send a package with a tracking number and asked how I could do that. After talking to the man behind the counter I asked to confirm with him that I needed to provide a package of my own, complete with shipping information and a stamp. I was told that was correct. I would not recommend using this location or any UPS shipping if you need a package delivered at a specific time. I shipped a package about the size of a shoebox 2 day service out of state. The Owner informed me that delivery may take a day longer due to Covid. Well it was finally delivered 5 days later. I think that was excessive. I contacted The UPS Store corporate office who informed me that a charge correction could be made at the store that shipped the package for me. I contacted the store manager who informed me that no cost correction could be made. I wasn't interested in getting a full refund, but paying almost $300 for 2 day service that took 5 days, was excessive. read more

I went to both and chose to get a mailbox at this location this one even though it's an extra .5 miles away from me. Great customer service, too. Absolutely love these people at The 44thSt and Oak location. I have been with them for my business for 10yrs now. They cover me for all my business mail, packages, printing, copies and etc. The place is clean, organized, and full access to my business mail 24/7. If I need a key or fingerprints, notary , they are there for us. They know us by name, the car we drive and all. If I need flyers printed up I call and they are usually ready and waiting within 24 hrs. I cannot say enough about the services I get from this store. Thank you all for your services. Not sure what was going on, but I showed up at 4:30pm and about 5 or 6 undercover cops with billet proof vest with POLICE written on it closed the store. They looked shady, and didn't even give the courtesy to let us know why the store was closed 1:30hrs early. read more

I am surprised to see negative reviews here. I selected this store online based on the location, without looking at the reviews. I called with a question about submitting a print job online: I needed to request copies of a resume for a client to pick up, but I couldnt find an option for selecting bond paper on the site. When I called, I was very impressed with the service. The gentleman (I belive his name is Oscar) was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. His tone was upbeat, and positive. I could literally hear the smile in his voice. Not only did he help me get just what I needed to satisfy my client, his "smile" was contagious and brightened my day. Per our conversation, I just attached the document in an email to the store, and he took care of the rest. It's all ready for my client to swing by and pick up. Having always considered The UPS Store merely as a place to send packages, I am pleasantly surprised at the wide range of print services they provide. Looking at the previous reviews on this site, 4 of 5 are 1 star. 80% crappy. Well, here's another that makes their average even worse. I took an item here to ship to a relative, and it needed to be packed in a carton, of course. The short, brusque woman at the counter measured my item, and went in search of a carton to fit. The item is about 30"x 20" x 6", about 25#, not a really large item I didn't think. She returns and tells me she doesn't have a box. She doesn't offer to obtain or make a box, or tell me when she might be able to get a box, no offer of any help whatsoever. I ask if this isn't a "packing and shipping" store? This is when she really gets snotty about it. So I have to concur with 80% of the other yelpers here when I rate their service 1 star. With no service (other than with an attitude) they don't even deserve that. Go elsewhere. read more

I read some of the negative reviews and have to agree, there's something a little icky about this place. I came in to ship a kid's sleeping bag I sold on eBay, and was quoted about $90 (they didn't say "about", I just don't remember exactly) which seemed crazy. I asked what the USPS rate was and was told around $70 for Priority Mail. I asked: "That's the cheapest rate?" and was told yes and "It's lower than the rate you'd pay at the actual Post Office," which sounded fishy to me but I let it go. I said it seemed really high, and that I've shipped bigger and heavier things before for less than $70. She finally said yeah I dunno even the cheap rate is $48. Um, cheap rate? I already asked in plain English for the cheapest rate and had been told $70. I SHOULD have left, but my buyer was waiting and I didn't want to drive to another place - but I'll never go back. Best case scenario the person at the counter was a little dopey and gave bad customer service; worst case there's something shady about them. read more
