As usual I waited until the last minute for an urgent time sensitive project for a huge presentation. Add to the mix I have very specific custom elements I wanted to explore possibilities for. Right off the bat, a young man named "Beans" greeted me. He had a kind and calming demeanor, made eye contact, had a kind word, things I'd forgotten exist. It was busy and he deftly managed through several little tasks, but all the while making me felt, well, seen. I walked him through the ideas I had and he was able to quickly suggest options, that made sense and was able to accomplish almost all of them within the confines of the materials they had. I've been in here a few times to drop off Amazon returns. They are usually quick and friendly. When you enter the store, hang a left and the employee at the counter will help you process your return. There isn't usually a line for returning Amazon orders, so if you come here for that, you should be good to go. The store is very well kept, and the employees are knowledgeable. Great service here, so I'll be making this one of my go-to places for speedy Amazon returns! read more

A while ago I went looking for where I could get passport pictures and all of the old places indicated they no longer offered services. However, there was a pandemic and apparently no one knew what was going on or if/when it might end. My passport has been expired for a while and I just needed to get the pictures to mail in with my application. I did another search and much to my surprise, Staples had it listed as offered services. I wandered in, the gentleman at the front greeted me as I went over to the print center and was then directed back to the initial gent who greeted me. I was stoked. He clicked quick and proceeded to help everyone who suddenly came in. I didn't mind, I saw the increase in activity and knew he was busy. He took, printed and cut my pictures down. Just under $20 for 2 passport pics, as I opted out of digital copies and whatever else they offer. Happy camper over here. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that the pictures are accepted with my app. Gent apologized for the delay due to the increasing need of service by others. As I said, I saw it, so I wasn't upset but totally appreciate his acknowledging that things were a bit delayed. Productive visit. Would use the service again when needed. read more

There was a lady at the Amazon return counter that hates her job. They just opened and there was a line of 3 people. No hi hello or communication just moving boxes around and ignoring. Then after 5 minutes she holds out her scanner gun with no words. I say hi I have an Amazon return and she's says "well I need a barcode." Mind you I have my barcode out already and my packages with the bar codes facing her to make it easier. She looks and is acting pissed. Like lady you just opened. Then it turns out I have one that isn't labeled for Staples so I step aside to let the next guy go and she's aware I'm fixing the barcode. She acts the same way to the next guy that he was even like " ummm have a nice day " in a sarcastic tone. She then proceeds to leave even though she knows I still need help. So I wait patiently but she clearly doesn't want to come back so I ask another employee to help me who is sooooo nice and apologizes for the wait. I told him he was so much kinder than the short lady with dirty blonde long hair in a pony tail with black eye glasses and he says that's just how she is. Customer service here is on point! Shout out to one of the managers, Matt, who always has a smile and positive attitude. I came into the store a few weeks ago to drop off used printer cartridges when he told me about the Staples rewards system (you get money back for turning in old cartridges). I ended up getting $130 in rewards dollars in my account! My family and I went on vacation (out of state) the next week and wanted to get a JBL speaker when I remembered about my Staples rewards and used it all on the speaker only to spend $1! This was amazing in itself and even when out of the state for vacation getting to use my Staples rewards. Thank you, Matt! read more

The staff here during my visit (March 11-12 2024) was fantastic. I attempted to order a print online however the website was not working for me to order a pickup so I gave a call to this local location in Scottsdale and the lady and man on the phone were helpful. Letting me know that they can take care of the order in person. So I came in and the big man at printing (I didn't catch his name) was a huge help. We got my documents uploaded to be printed. I was able to come back in the evening to pick them up (800 pages) however came in the next day because of work and big man helped me out immediately. The pricing was different than in checkout for online which I brought to his attention. He understood immediately and matched the price/brought it down for me for checkout. He also placed the sheets in order, neatly in the binder and checked out. Super helpful staff, no bull. read more

I was returning an Amazon packet and reached the cashier and we started to engage, then because I didn't have the item "out" the sales person started to help the person that came 2 SECONDS behind me and I had to WAIT until that return was done! There was no one else in line except us so there was NO valid reason why he helped the customer behind first and made me wait. I wanted to ask him WHY but there are other business that take back Amazon returns. This sales person clearly bias to avoid me! read more

I tried to get a business card today. I went in, and there was a girl working in the printer area who was not happy to be there. She was rude in her demeanor. Josh came over to help and was getting me set up. I built my card and wanted to add my QR code on my card. I sent the email like I was asked, but there was no one there to help. Josh ended up helping 2 people while I was waiting to be finished up. By the time he got back to me, the business card that took me almost 30 minutes to make had vanished from the screen. So I would have started over after being there for 40 minutes. I left very disappointed and felt like they wasted my time... The girl should have been nicer and Josh should have seen me threw so I could have finished ordering my business cards... Poor service.. read more

Bought a staples rolling cart for my business. One of the pins came out of the cart while I was rolling it into an account. It was 115 that day and made me extra grouchy. Super bummed out. Took it into the closest Staples store I could go find. I found one that was exactly like the one I had. The store manager was super nice and said I could exchange it for a new one. No questions asked. The cart was stamped "staples" and she did say "it's clearly from here." Great experience. Went in upset it broke so quickly to happy to get a replacement ! read more

JOSH! JOSH! JOSH! I cannot believe how hard this guy works! If you need any help with anything to do with printing he can do it. I was there one day and he had three women asking him questions at the same time but he kept his cool and handled it. He just finished up a customized poster for me. He made some changes I did not ask for. But boy, it looked so much better. If management reads these reviews I hope you are paying him well because he is a big money maker for your store. From the Management to every employee in the store I would have to give 5 stars! Everyone is always friendly and they always greet you when you come into the store. I've only been here once to print using the self service machine. This store's layout is different from the others which makes it a bit confusing. It would be nice if there was continuity. I didn't like the location of the self service printing area and it allows for people to crowd with the bad layout which is not very smart during a highly contagious pandemic. This location also didn't seem very clean under any circumstance but especially during Covid19 they should do better. As each customer walked I noticed that literally every single person looked confused and was looking around before walking anywhere because the store layout is odd and not the norm. With the other locations the staff is helpful and more friendly and the layout is better not to mention cleaner. read more

My husband and I give this store high marks, especially because of Samantha (Samii) three the inventory manager, who helped us in every way possible. she is very knowledgeable and helpful and stayed past her shift OK so now I a little bit to help us finish getting our chair picked out and assembled. I was really happy with my Staples Copy Center service today by Shannon. I needed some documents copied on a buff colored 65 weight parchment to match my existing documents that were copied onto same weight and color parchment, complied in California. I hunted at Staples in Pacific Beach San Diego, several Office Maxes in AZ, all had a very limited selection of papers. Shannon gave me super fast and efficient service at this location's Copy Center. She was observant enough to see that the papers in my binder were punched and so she punched my copies on that parchment paper. But she didn't have a 3 hole puncher, and did it by hand. It didn't come out right, so she made me new copies. I will just use my hole punch at home. I was in a rush, as I still had to get them to a notary before the year ended. This 5 stars is for Shannon, and the other lady who two months ago, showed me they had that parchment and when I tried to pay for 3 sheets, she just let me have them. read more

I'm here pretty regularly to get supplies for the office. People are very helpful and the place is extremely clean and nice. Much better than Office Max in a much better environment. Good to deal with all the time. I just wish they had better office chairs. read more

On a trip last month to Honolulu, Andrea R (aka Batgirl) and I (aka Robin) were doing some last minute errands for the Yelp Helps Everyday Hero event... Emi H sent us to this Staples on the hunt for some zip ties and stickers for the event, and while some of the other customers may have given us weird looks due to our costumes, the Staples staff members were all friendly and helpful. We found what we needed and a few snacks as well, and we were in and out of there within a few minutes. In this case, it wasn't super heroes to the rescue, it was Staples! read more

Copied/pasted from my earlier email to corporate: "I am reaching out to you today in order to share with you the details of a recent experience I had - and the exceptional customer service I received - in dealing with the print/copy staff at Staples Store #0264 a few days ago. (An aside: I would be remiss, were I not to also note that I've always had great experiences with the print/copy employees at this store. I buy and re-sell used items on Facebook Marketplace, and Offer Up - and I do not have a printer at home currently, as I recently moved, and have yet to fully unpack my belongings - so I am very often in need of printing services for my shipping labels. During my first week in my new home, I printed labels at my local FedEx, UPS, Walgreens, and Staples stores; the level of customer service I received - and the quality of my overall experience - at Staples Store #0264 exceeded those of its nearby competitors, such that I have exclusively used this Staples store for my printing needs ever since. In the weeks following my arrival to my new home, I've dealt with the print staff at my local Staples on several occasions - and I've not yet been disappointed. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional, friendly, personable, polite, prompt, and exceedingly knowledgeable. I have especially appreciated the service I've received from the gentleman who I believe is the print department manager, or lead (or whatever comparable title he holds - if there is such a title? I'm unaware if the print department even has a manager - it's just the impression that I've gotten when dealing with this gentleman in particular, that he is the leader; on days and/or at times when the counter is staffed by just one employee, he seems to always be that one employee.) Three or four days ago, I visited Store #0264, for the purpose of printing out flyers for my lost cat - who has been a part of my family for over 13 years, and who had been missing for 3 or 4 days by that time. I was - as you might expect - distraught and emotional. Print department employee Manny assisted me in using the self-service machine to my print order (I needed to print some pages in color, and others in greyscale, and hadn't the faintest idea how to do so). Manny was sympathetic, compassionate, and patient with me - while still being professional, and managing to gently steer our conversation about my lost cat/broken heart towards the goal of accomplishing what I came there to do: completing my print job in the most timely, and cost-efficient manner possible. In a situation where I was visibly upset in a public space - in front of several total strangers - I would normally feel embarrassed, humiliated even; but Manny was able to put me at ease, and treated me in such a way that my potential embarrassment was minimized as much as possible. Words can't express to you how very much I appreciated his kindness and sensitivity to my situation... I hope that you will relay my thanks to him, and to his colleagues in the print department - they deserve all that, and more!" read more

Horrendous customer service. Upon my entering the store, no employee greeted me or offered to help me locate items. In fact, there were no employees anywhere to be seen, leaving me to have to forage through the sloppy, disorganized aisles searching for what I needed. I went the store yesterday to use the copy machine and to make a purchase which is something I've done hundreds of times over the last 10 or 20 years whenever that store first opened I have been living in the neighborhood for over 30 years I went up to the counter in the print center after making my copies to pay for a set of ink pens A young woman at the counter yesterday morning not only did not ask my husband for my account number but also was quite flippant about the fact that she didn't need to do that because she normally didn't take purchases at the counter which is totally ridiculous I've taken purchases up to that counter 100 times I felt she should've asked for my account number just like everybody else does in the store I don't like the attitude of most of the people in the store But there is one older woman that works at the front counter who is very nice But most of the time I feel like I'm treated like a student instead of an adult I'm a businesswoman and have been for over thirty years I've done a lot of business in that store and I didn't appreciate her attitude I'm sure that's why I'm not the only person giving you a three star rating I leave that store many times thinking I'll never go back and then out of convenience I walk in the door again but only out of convenience because I live in the neighborhood not because I love shopping there Thank you read more
