If I could give a one star rating I would. All the employees here are rude and one person even said if she had another job she would walk out due to the manger. I went into the store during the farmers market day had to park away from the store went in to pay my bill and was told I could not pay in advance. The. The rude manger called to say the bill was late I said ok let me get my card hold on she said I have a customer you hold also, I held for about 14 minutes due to she never came back, tried calling back and only got a busy signal, I called for several days left voice message no return call. Finally I received a email saying my box was canceled. I sent an email and the manger never replied, I called the next day and wow was she RUDE (Manger) she told me I am not reinstating your box I don't want your business I asked for the owner name and she said I am the owner and continued to talk and said call corporate. This UPS Store is used by many of us that live locally since it's the only one in the area. I was warned by several friends about an employee that yells at everyone, and sure enough he was there today when I went in to fax some documents. His yelling was unnecessary and made everyone feel uncomfortable. These are very stressful times, people in customer service roles need to be even more sensitive with customers, especially a store with so many social distancing rules. Maybe some customer service training for him? The only reason why I gave two stars is everyone one else that works there is very kind and helpful. read more

I've been here about 4 times to ship some packages and at first I wasn't thrilled by the lack of friendliness from the employees. Then on my third visit it seems like one of the employees recognized me and was a tad friendlier. I just shipped out a birthday gift to may family in NV and even though it seemed a bit pricer than the post office I was glad to use this UPS store. The lady at the counter this time was very nice, informative and thorough with the transaction and great to deal with. My 1.5 pound package came to almost $14 for 5 day ground shipping with insurance included and it was well worth it, because I know this place will get my packages to their proper destinations. Do not use this location. I brought in a package to return and I didn't read the instructions. The label needed to be printed as there was no QR code. I was told by Josephine that there was a $2.95 setup fee and then $.20 per page print cost. I asked what the setup fee was for and this person told me that it was to setup the account. I asked what account? Your account to print was the response. I pressed this person on what account I was having set up? This person kept playing games and saying that it's an account to print. There is no account to print. The printer is already set up and email was sent for them to charge me the $.20. I said that if I call UPS that they'd tell me there's a $2.95 charge. This person initially said yes. I then asked again and this person said UPS and UPS store are different. It's not the $2.95 that is the issue. There is no account that was being created. I don't appreciate people not being transparent. read more

They'll nickel and dime you to death. At a FedEx office store you pay for prints only. Here they'll charge you $2,50 just to plug your USB drive to their computer so you can print (no editing), plus, of course, the price of printing. Drive 5 mins. to Daly City, San Bruno or Colma and go to a place that respects your intelligence. read more

I had a very heavy item to ship (cast iron dutch oven) so picked the sturdiest box I had to pack it up in. As I arrived at the door both employees challenged me, in front of other customers: Are you shipping that? Is that a wine box? They loudly told me I couldn't use a box wine had come in, it was against the law and company policy, and they weren't going to get fined for allowing it. I hadn't really even entered the store. I get that this was my mistake (I didn't know that rule) but they were incredibly rude. Something like "I'm sorry but that type of box is not permitted. If you'd like we can provide a better box for you" would be better customer service. read more

In a time where UPS will come pick a package up from your house, the reason you go to a retail location is to support your community. The problem arises when the business doesn't want to be a part of your community. A simple thing like keeping a roll of tape on hand for customers goes a long way in showing a community you want to be a functional and helpful part of it. When I'm bringing you a $100+ package to ship and need an 18" piece of tape to seal the top you should gladly offer some of that roll sitting on the counter, not point at the wall without saying any words when I ask you at a $5 roll of tape. It's predatory towards customers and is the reason I walked out the door, went home where I have plenty of packing tape, went on ups.com and made a label where they are coming to my house to pick the package up for the same price. As a franchise, you should realize that your licensor is actively taking steps to put you out of business and find the roots in your community that make us want you here and not bypass your services and go direct to the source. read more

Last two visits here have been needlessly difficult. I have used this location many times for shipping and notary services, but it's not worth the aggravation--long lines, surly employee. Most recently brought 3 Amazon products back for return in the same box they were delivered in. Had the QR return codes on my phone, 2 of which said UPS Store would pack, 3rd said I was to pack. I got nothing but grief because box wasn't sealed, "I could charge you a dollar for resealing". "Do you have something better I can scan the QR code with?" My phone took a few seconds to load the QR code and make it sharp. "Take that box back with you." That's the original box that should have been used to ship the 3 items. Going forward, I will continue to use FedEx whenever possible, I already found a nice notary next door, and Amazon returns will be done at Whole Foods. No more UPS Store. Wow, this store is a catastrophe. The store manager needs to be fired. She couldn't figure out how to do a live scan and was extremely rude to multiple customers. She had no sense of urgency with the lines building up. The other 2 employees were not fast or efficient. It was like watching a untrained circus. Customers ran after people asking if they wanted receipts. It was actually hilarious at some points. The level of rudeness was absurd though and was present in everyone they helped. read more

I have found the staff at this UPS store extremely courteous and helpful. It's so convenient with lots of street parking and a parking lot right behind the store. I took a box in the middle of the afternoon. They double boxed it for me and it arrived in Reno, Nevada, the very next day. This even when they were very busy with Holiday mailing and one staff member short. I love this place! read more

I am very upset as I scheduled a Notary appointment 3 days in advance and when my wife and I showed up for our appointment we were told the Notary was out on other business and would not be back until after 11:30 which would be over an hour past our scheduled appointment. I let the associate know that we had a scheduled appointment for 10:30 AM and he said our appointment basically did not matter. His exact words were "Appointments are scheduled through corporate and have nothing to do with our office. We are a walk-in only Notary". This should have been mentioned on the corporate's website if this is the case and we could have check in with the local office before coming in. My wife and I both took time off from work and busy schedules and have nothing to show for, and are now force to look for other times to get our time sensitive documents notarized. read more

First time here, came in pissed after getting the run around from UPS HQ and multiple drivers. The staff (didn't get his name but he's an Asian dude) was calm the whole time and explained to me why they couldn't ship the package for me. It was an Amazon return that was scheduled for pick up so the drivers should have the label (but somehow lost it). Although I still have my package, I must say, customer service here is amazing. The oddball woman with the leather cowboy hat perpetually stuck on her head lacks in the manners/ customer courtesy department. Last I checked I was at a UPS Store; not a cattle ranch. Yes, this UPS Store does what it advertises, but I fail to recognize why they have thus far gotten 5 stars from everyone on Yelp. They're just doing their job. Do you give your garbage man rave reviews for emptying the cans? Do you jump up and down for the mailman when he delivers or picks up your letters? I suspect not. Two stars. Yes 5 stars. Why you ask? Let us just set the scene now shall we? Me: book a flight 2.5 hours before the airplane takes off to tend to a family emergency out of state which requires me to check a bag full of tools on the plane (don't ask). There is a urgent need for me to figure out if my bag is going to exceed the 50lb weight limit (before I get to the airport and have to surrender my cordless drill to the airline because it puts me over the limit and you can't carry tools on a plane any more, Thanks a lot Osama). I can't afford to waste time because I know I will be cutting it really close on time at the airport. So wheels are turning (smoke coming out of ears) how do I get an accurate weight on my bag I ask myself...that old rusty scale in the basement that I threw at a rat with once? Mmmm probably no longer calibrated. Then light bulb goes on.... Ring Ring! UPS store: "UPS store this is Rose"... Me: "Hi there Rose do you have a scale that can handle weight up to 50lbs?" Rose: (Chuckling) "Yes, we do as a matter of fact our scales handle weight up to 150lbs" Me: "GREAT! Do you think I can come over and weigh my bag of tools?" Rose: "Sure" 10 minutes later.... I arrive at the store to find a line out the door and Rose the sole employee on the premises. She immediately sees me and recognizes the tool bag that we had just discussed on the phone and waves me over around to the scale and has me plop the bag down. "48 pounds you're good" she says. i ask what I owe her she says "nothing now go get your self to the airport" That is what I call customer service. Used to be a good friendly professional business. No complaints when it comes to shipping. Everything I've ever shipped through this ups store has always arrived to its destination on time. My concern is customer service I don't feel it's necessary to call out names, but there's an employee that really needs more training on communication. When she speaks to customers it sounds like she's scolding them. It really sounds rude, and unprofessional. It's the little things that bring customers back, such as a friendly smile. read more

Love them, had to use them repeatedly for various things, including mailing stuff, notarizing stuff, copying stuff. I'll spare you the long story about other people's screw ups necessitating why I had to keep going back here but it certainly wasn't the UPS store's fault. Josephine helped me on two separate occasions, she is an awesome notary and puts all the papers together so it makes sense , keeps things organized and is just a pleasant person, even if you get frazzled and ask her the same thing twice.'Plus she said i looked like Eva Green and I'm going to take that as a compliment. I know she felt bad that I had to redo stuff i did before because of someone else neglecting to give the correct instructions but that isn't her fault, but she was patient and stayed focussed on the task at hand throughout. Keegan (big guy with long game of thrones hair) is also very helpful and nice to deal with, explained the different options of mailing stuff, stays calm even with random people clamoring for whatever they need or wanting him to get out of the way, he handles it with aplomb. The people there seem to have a good dynamic how they all work together. Sometimes you might have to wait a bit because of covid limitations and the size of the place but they were trying to move everyone through that they could while not having the place be overrun. Oh yeah, and of course they wear masks. I would totally recoomend this place. read more

it is great having this service in Pacifica. There are NO services in Pacifica. It is a drag having to go to the city for almost everything. This location allows me services right here in town. How do I start? The weather and waves were beautiful at Rockaway beach today but it stops right there! My 92 year old father and myself were abused more than anybody has a right to by Josephine?( had mask on ) Josephine was the notary working and had a serious bad attitude demeaning both myself and my father with rudeness on steroids, finger pointing in both our faces with that condescending attitude. My father being 92 years old and myself were treated with total disrespect. I was trying to help my father with the process and more or less told to butt out I wasn't talking to you! My 92 year old father is recovering from a stroke and started stuttering and that's when I stepped in to stop the verbal abuse! Things spun out of control I got hot when Josephine again verbally abused my father and showed zero compassion, understanding, and patience to my frail 92 year old father! Josephine may be beyond retraining but with an attitude like that something should be done. On a good note this is a Notary to forget at the UPS store at Rockaway beach in Pacifica. read more

$3.75 to color print one sheet of paper. Wow. Call the cops because I was just robbed. I told the team member I needed one sheet of paper printed from email and he points me to their PC. I use it, get my print and then I am robbed blind. I later find out I could've emailed them my document and could've saved the $2.50 to use their PC (add roughly another $1 for the colored printing of one sheet). Why wasn't that presented as an option in the first place? Most people have a phone capable of emailing and even if they don't it's worth offering it as an option. So while they didn't do anything technically wrong. A little more customer service would've helped. I hoped this was a one off experience but, from reading the reviews, it sounds like it isn't. They rip people off and don't seem to care. Update: thanks to the business owner for replying. It still doesn't explain why it's so expensive to print a sheet of paper. There's nothing inherently expensive about the process considering you can print 10 sheets of paper for free at the library and use their computer. read more

This is the worst UPS store I have every been to. No one is helpful, no one is friendly and clearly everyone serving is unhappy. They are slow, and I mean slow, and rude after making you wait for eternity and then most likely won't help you at all. I would avoid this UPS and head to Daly City UPS at Westlake they are always happy to help and friendly.
