The guy said no problem, they would tape it up. I said but I haven't even taped on the shipping label. No problem, they would do it. I said great, thanks and walked out. Then I thought okay, no one I've ever shipped with has ever been this helpful and walked back in and said I just wanted to make sure, you know I didn't finish taping the box up? And he said no worries, we're taping it up right now and pointed at some employees who were hard at work taping it up!

His positive attitude made what could have been a stressful chore feel easy and almost fun. This guy went so far above and beyond that I honestly can't thank him enough. Everyone working there was friendly, but the assistant manager truly made the visit exceptional. I run a men's softball team with my co-manager. We were in the market looking for some ball caps…read morefor our team and we were given MH custom printing as a place to go. We are small business owners so we figure we'd help another small business. We ordered 16 ball caps, which came to the price of $400. We were also told that we would have them back and embroidered in time for our tournament. Well, that time came and all of the hats were not in so to make sure we had hats for our team. We paid another $150 just to buy some trucker ball caps for the tournament. Once the original ball caps came in we received several correspondence over text messages but never received any invoices for the original order so we were under the impression that the embroidering and everything would be either an extremely low cost or free because of the delay. After my co-manager had a face to face with the the owners the conversation ended with the female owner stating that there was a huge communication issue between her employee and us, and that they would consume the remaining amount for the patches of the ball caps instead of doing the embroidery. on Friday, February 6 of 2026 we were told to come in and pick up the final product. There that same day. We also received an invoice for $210 more dollars. Because my co-manager was busy he forwarded me the invoice to go in and talk to the owners to understand why we are paying more than what was agreed-upon. Once I showed up to MH custom printing, the owner and his wife met me at the Door with great enthusiasm. We started discussing the price breakdown and a lot of things didn't add up. The owner's wife then told us that they chose to go with the most expensive route because it would be quicker return. Once I stated, we agreed upon the patches at a cheaper price. The owners wife then stated that the process would have taken longer, so they decided to go with embroidery, which was more expensive. We were not given an option on the pricing as previously agreed-upon. As the conversation went on the male owners tone in his voice changed to a more aggressive style. He then proceeded to use profanity by telling us to get our "bleeping"hats and get the "bleep" out of their shop. I explained to him that that tone was not called for, and I explained to him what we were trying to understand about the pricing, his wife proceeded to push the hats towards me and said have a nice day. we are a local team and me and my co-manager both have small businesses, we understand what they are going through. We are trying to help out a local business and instead we were paying way more than we would've paid if we went to someone out of state. The communication was horrible. The transaction with invoices was more word-of-mouth than having a paper trail. We were trying to meet them halfway, but it just didn't seem like they wanted to do that. I'm sure they may treat other people differently, but the way we were treated was very unprofessional and uncalled for.

Extremely overpriced and not willing to do anything until I paid a down payment. Would not help me with artwork until I paid. Next, FastSigns. I have had 2 bad experiences here and gave them another shot. Extreme fail. Prices were a little less, but I have to pay for the first draft $70 (look at what $70 gets you top right example. Me on my laptop and 15 mins in MS Paint is bottom right, what I gave them to go off). They made it 10 times worse! I have to pay $35 for each revision! GTFO! Days and days go by no contact, no reply to emails, etc. Took a 1 hour very long drive to come to Oceanside. Showed him my example and the very next day got an email with this wonderful artwork middle left. Done on the first draft! Don't need to change a thing! Flat-rate, way way way less than the competition and a MILLION times better. Do not go anywhere else. Don't waste your time. COME HERE ! I was told that because of the carrier it originated from, it couldn't simply be dropped back in for re-delivery. That's when Sunny stepped in. Even though it wasn't something they typically handle, Sunny offered to help by creating a new label and getting it back into the system to make sure it reached the right recipient. It appeared to be something urgent for a law firm, so that extra effort really meant a lot. I truly appreciate those small acts of kindness especially when you're unfamiliar with the process. Sunny went above and beyond, and it's a great reminder of why we should continue supporting small businesses like this.
