It should have only taken 2 weeks to be made. So I feel like I should have been able to pick it up as soon as it was ready vs being made to wait the maximum time before it was actually needed. Upon the day of pick up it wasn't ready due to some issue with the engraved plate having to be redone. So I had to wait a little bit longer to pick it up. Upon picking it up I felt the wood used had a lot of scratches in it but it was painted over. I asked about it and the guy said that it was just inconsistencies in the wood. Which I get, but then, isn't that what sanding is for? It just seemed like there could be steps to improve quality here. The staff is cold. I agree with other reviews on this. Did I overall feel like it was worth the money? I had a specific idea in mind and only they provided what I wanted. So I did feel it was worth the money. Could service improve? Yes. Definitely. My husband was happy (because he wasn't expecting it) so l guess that's all that really matters here.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews (if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, right?); however, my encounter with this gentleman was unprofessional, hostile and rude. There was a steady line at the event, and seeing as myself and my two friends wanted to keep the line moving, were prepared to just tell him our names without any questions asked. The first thing he said to my friend (also an Asian female) was "Weren't you already here?" without any sort of greeting and in a very jarring way. Instead of accepting the fact that we hadn't been trying to weasel our way into *TWO* glasses, he protested before begrudgingly giving in and doing a shoddy (crooked lettering) job on the glass. He refused to give my other friend a glass since he was under 21 (I get that), and continued to be skeptical when he finally gave me mine. I guess I looked visibly upset to the point that people behind us in line asked what happened when we turned to leave. Another friend of mine who came later got in line herself, and was greeted with the same hostility and unfriendliness. I'm not going to make any assumptions, but she is also Asian and was asked by him, "Haven't you already gotten a glass?" Seriously? Bottom line: skeptical, hostile personality with shoddy workmanship. Maybe if the engraving was impeccable I'd at least give a two star, but read the other reviews (that have not been made by persuaded personal connections, if you can) and rethink your needs for a permanent penmanship -- look elsewhere.
