It's that time of year of sending holiday cards and gifts. About mid Monday, lunch hour, this UPS wasn't too busy. Service was friendly and efficient. Customer service processed my package to be sent quickly. I was pleased to quickly ship a package. Looking forward to it arriving to its destination.

They're always so helpful, fast, and friendly. The shop is clean, bright, and organized. We're so lucky to have this place!

Notary service is worse than useless. They don't notarize forms in a way that the government will accept.

I got here not really considering the fact that tax time is fast approaching and that the new…read morecramped location would be bursting with people that required a lot of assistance because they came unprepared. There was some customer in front of me claiming she was late for a job interview and needed to print something, yet she was dressed in jeans and grubby tennis shoes. I so wanted to ask where she had applied. I've been a FedEx/Kinkos customer for years, so most of the staff is the same in their new MV location near Cost Plus (across ECR from the old one). I've also been to other locations. Usually when you have a small, quick job, and there's a big backup, they'll help you at the counter for no extra fee (i.e., customer service). However, that was not the message communicated to me by the female that initially greeted me, so I decided to wait for the customer with the supposed interview to figure out how to use the machine and leave so I could use it myself. I was also in here the other day when NOBODY else was there - not customers or other staff - except for a single employee and me. I don't expect an overly fake greeting, but whatever I did get was very unfriendly. And I didn't even require any help from her. Today I finally got to a machine and was able to go through some printing and copying on my own. However, one (SINGLE-page) document would not allow me to print it. After about 5 tries, I waited until a male employee (Kit-Shing) finished helping another customer. Since it was next to my machine, I noticed how patient and genuinely helpful he was (I've seen this before from him at the other location). He even gave the customer tips on dealing some of the instructions if they happened to speak another language (as he himself possibly does). It was absolutely respectful, and again, of real use. He told me he would help me to print out my document at the counter since the file itself was giving me issues. It took him very little time, and it worked for him on the first try. I was so grateful to him for making quick work of what should have been a simple process for me. He obviously understands the TRUE meaning of customer service. Him stepping in left me with a positive impression and made me feel comfortable that things will go smoothly next time I need their services. Please pay attention to his quiet wisdom! Sorry for rambling, but his attitude stood out even more because it's been a terrible week for customer service everywhere I've gone. So many people (often young, but not always) can barely be bothered to perform the most basic tasks they're paid to do. It's honestly appalling. I don't understand why they aren't more thankful to have a job in the first place in this economy and with the takeover of AI. I have only been asking them to help with simple tasks that are their only job duties. I have not been rude or difficult, yet I've been met with 'tude. Anyway, Kit-Shing is simply awesome. Thanks again!

I hate to give poor reviews but the fact I couldn't make simple copies in a couple of minutes is…read moredisheartening. The copies that did come out (before the prepaid selection ran over) came out 3 hole punched and that setting was apparently auto on and I couldn't figure out to turn it off the second time. I literally ended up there for 15 min. No one asked if I needed help. I went to ask (I didn't want to interrupt the customer but the service attendant looked at me and I said "printer issue" I believed I got a nod. He was the only one I saw at the time helping customers. I tried the second time and no luck. Still 3 hole punched and that's after I reset the options and still didn't see where to turn off 3 hole punched. Then I got the message "you have no more funds "but I couldn't see obvious directions to add more fund when I hit "continue working". At that time I heard another attendants voice and he was helping another customer. There were 3 people there when I walked in and when I finally gave up and walked out there were 10 people. And that was $5 gas money out the door.

Typically, there isn't a line and I go in there, quickly drop off my return and I'm on my way. 10 seconds! Done and done. Unfortunately, my experience today did not reflect their usual quickness. There was a very long line, which couldn't be helped because of what the items were that were being shipped by the customers at the registers. After 10 minutes, it was finally my turn. I had a simple return with a QR code. And I had elected the "no pack no label" option. Which means the UPS store packs and labels your shipment. Unfortunately, the employee didn't seem to know what he was doing. And after waiting 10 minutes, it was annoying to say the least. First, he told me that the QR code had already been used. Of course it had not. So I told him to try it again. Of course, when he scanned it the second time he realized it had indeed, not been used. Then he said sorry we can't ship this because you haven't packaged it! What the hell? I told him it literally says on the QR code that I don't have to pack it....(Que the eye roll). He didn't know what to do until the employee next to him told him that I was right! That they had to pack it and label it, per the instructions related to that QR code. The employee handling my shipment return was just totally confused and after waiting 10 minutes, I didn't really have the luxury of time for his confusion. It was very inconvenient. Not only for me, but for the other people standing in line. What is usually a quick 30 second turnaround, turned into five minutes of an employee who was unaware of protocol with certain returns. The problem here is if the well-versed employee had not been there to assist the confused employee handling my return, I would've had to leave and go to another location to process my return. And often times there is only one employee at this location. So if I walk into this location the next time and I see this particular employee at the register, with no other employees there, I'm going to walk out and go to a different UPS store to avoid issues.
