one star for the stupidity and the nastiness of this stores owner. This ups location was my go to place for shipping. I frequented this location at least once monthly over the last 2 years , sometimes more. I recently went there for help printing paystubs from an email....afterwards they were sent off using their fax machine. (I paid close to 30 bucks for this service) After explaining what I needed to do, I was instructed to forward them the email .... they printed it out and faxed it for me. Afterwards, I was unhappy with the quality of the copies ...showing the owner some words were cut off. I was told this was the best they could provide me. I Specifically requested they print them on one page (instead of two) so the words weren't cut off at the bottom. The store was busy and the owner refused to redo or help me. My application was denied, due to the words being cut off from the bottom of the page. I was instructed to resend the original documents again. After purchasing ink for my home printer ... I easily printed the documents without any problem. I went back to this UPS and requested they fax again. I explained to the owner what happened ... requesting they don't charge me again for the fax. I was charged anyway $10 for the faxes. I let the owner know. I was very unhappy to be charged again. She was beyond rude to me. She was more concerned with being right. I informed her I will never use their store again. She said she did not care! There's no way to make this right ,so don't bother replying. You lost a good customer over $10 I'm warning other customers about using this store for help with services like this very greedy & unreasonable people own this location. Not the way to do business! Not in this country. They need a big lesson in customer service and customer satisfaction.... One by one you will go out of business when you treat your customers like this. I needed to take care of some packages. This store is quite busy and efficient. Altho it depends who waits on you. Some are more knowledgeable than others. My first time in there was quick and painless. The second time was having issues and it took me longer. Great to send your packages, no hassle. A little disorganized bc of holiday season but saves time going to post office. Definitely worth a check in. read more

This store is super slow, not just the workers behind the counter but also the customers who can't figure out how to use the digital prompt screen while checking out. Avoid this store unless you have a solid 45 minutes to an hour to waste standing in line. read more

Terrible service. Dude refuses to put in any work to process Amazon returns with a QR code and had a very nasty attitude about helping customers with the return. You know I refuse to be greeted with a nasty attitude just because YOU don't have the proper BASIC supplies and equipment at a ups store. It's even MORE ridiculous that this dude tried to GASLIGHT us into thinking that we are the ones at fault and ridiculous to ask him for scanning a fking QR code. He really said that NO ups can scan a QR code for Amazon return. Complete bs. read more

I had 2 Amazon pre-paid returns. One was UPS and the other USPS. I figured I would drop the UPS box here, then run across the street to the Post Office for the other package. However I was told that they accepted both packages, so one stop shopping for me. I can't comment on the reviews of other folks, but my experience here was superb. The woman behind the counter was eager to assist and was very friendly as well. I received a receipt with Tracking numbers for both packages and by 1:00 PM, both my UPS and USPS packages were on their way back to Amazon. I would definitely return should the need arise. read more

I needed to ship a package, and I had a question. I called first. A woman picks up the phone and she's obviously talking with someone else. Doesn't greet me or anything. Just holds the phone up while she's still talking. Finally she says in a very nasty tone "call back. I am very busy right now!" I laughed and said I would take my business elsewhere. read more

I received a warranty replacement phone through Verizon Wireless. The return instructions in the box said to affix the new shipping label on the same box the new phone was shipped in and then drop off at a UPS store. I chose the one close to my house at the Concordia shopping plaza in Monroe Township, NJ. When i handed the box to the store owner he stated that he could not accept the box because it had Fed Ex written on the box. I thought to myself that maybe I read the note wrong and i was supposed to go to FedEx, but the store owner told me it was a UPS return label. I showed him the Verizon return instructions and he got very upset saying that this is a Verizon issue and he will not ship anything in the competition's box. I was outraged. I asked what I should do and he said that I would nee to purchase another box and if he couldn't remove the label without damaging it I would have to pay for a new shipping label. I asked if i could use his Sharpy marker to cover the Fed Ex logo and he said he would still know it was there. He wanted me to pay for a new box. I called Verizon and they were very upset and they are going to escalate this immediately.I called UPS corporate and they gave me the complaint number for UPS store's complaint department. I am still waiting for their return call. I was humiliated by this man and will never step in his store again and i hope no one else does either. I wonder how many people he does this to to try to make money illegally on? Note- I ran into a UPS truck and told the story to the driver. he took the package as is and laughed. He stated that he heard stories like this and other about this same store owner. He also said that UPS would take any box as long as there was no nudity or vulgar language written on it. I just have to give them a shout out! The staff and everyone at this location truly care. My mother and I came in with a lot of items to ship, we had just cleaned out my Grandfathers home and we were sending some items home. These were not easy items to ship, but they took their time and were doing everything they could to get our memories back home. We dropped off our items and they continuously kept in touch with us on the packing and shipping of the items. Thank you very much you have made a family happy. read more

COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! I'm not the kind of person that writes reviews but I felt it was necessary to warn potential customers. Save your time & money... Long story short - I brought in a number of items to the Monroe UPS Store. They went through the steps they take to give me a price on packaging and shipping. I was shocked by the price they gave me! Based on past experience, I knew it couldn't cost that much... I mentioned to the owner and his employee that I'm looking to ship my items at the lowest price possible. He responded that this is the lowest price possible. It just didn't feel right so I decided to take my larger items to the Spotswood UPS store where I've previously shipped things from... pricing there seemed to be fair and I was greeted and treated well. Turns out my suspicions were right - I was told that my items were going to cost 1/2 (Half) the amount I was quoted from the Monroe Store. Even after this happening to me, I decided to give the Monroe Store one more shot due to the proximity of the store to my home... Same thing happened. I'll never go back to the Monroe UPS Store. Oh and by the way... Monroe makes you fill out paperwork in order for them to be able to process your shipment and doesn't provide you with a proper receipt and tracking number immediatley after payment... (this is antiquated and the Spotswood store doesn't do this) I am in no way affiliated with the Spotswood UPS Store - I'm just a customer with 2 different experiences with stores owned by UPS. read more

We want to offer our sincere praise and warm thanks to The UPS Store #6633 in the Concordia Shopping Center in Monroe Township. Ambika, who manages the packaging area, personally greeted us when we entered the store with four framed paintings/prints from my parents' home, along with a couple of boxes that we had packed (crystal and other items from their house) to send to our children as keepsakes. Ambika spent considerable time (probably a half-hour) with us, measuring the paintings/prints to determine pricing, explaining various insurance options, describing how they pack artwork to reduce the risk of damage, and completing all paperwork. She shipped the two boxes right away and gave us tracking numbers. For the artwork, she explained that she personally would pack each item and would send us tracking numbers as soon as they were ready to ship. She was so conscientious and thorough -- when we received them, it was amazing how well-packed they were -- reinforced bubble wrap at every corner, double bubble wrap around each painting/print, cardboard over the glass, and yards worth of packing tape to make sure everything was secure. We definitely recommend you go to Ambika with any important shipping/packing job! read more

Several months ago I flew into New Jersey to take possession of a long-lost family Torah which I had to ship to my home in California. Understand that a Torah takes a year to write by specially trained scribes and is holy and the utmost importance. Given the size and weight, I could not take it on the plane. I arrived at this UPS store in Monroe Township and was warmly greeted by the owners--a lovely husband and wife team. They assured me they would wrap it carefully and ship. However, I could not leave until it was wrapped and I watched them carefully. The owner and his wife wrapped the Torah meticulously. Each decision as to the type of wrap and packaging was made to ensure maximum protection of the Torah. It was then double boxed. The process of wrapping and preparing the Torah took over 2 hours. They assured me it would be delivered by 10:30 the next morning. Sure enough, it arrived at 10:15 AM in California the very next day. I took the Torah to our Synagogue and the Rabbi marveled at how well it had been packed. I even took some photos--we were so impressed. The nice couple were so concerned (given the religious nature) that they followed up with me to make sure it arrived safely. Incidentally, I also had them pack some art from my aunts house and they also packed those items beautifully which arrived a few days later via UPS ground without incident. Their packaging staffer was also an extremely nice gentleman. Lovely people and would happily ship with them in the future. UPS success story! read more

I mailed a small hardware to PA with the slowest delivery time. I was charged $19.60. I was not given a receipt. Later on I start to suspect the price. Because in the post office it is around $5 $6. This is not the first time I was charged almost $20 for a small item. read more
