    Safe, clean, convenient and a great deal. Everything I needed. Free truck helped my move-in and saved me time and money. Great office staff.

This was a NIGHTMARE from the start at my home with the foreman in charge of the move. He had ZERO intentions of honoring the contract quote I'd been given by his office. He started building a list of things he intended to charge me extra for 30 minutes into the move. He started with insisting that I come outside to look at the size of his truck. Which I thought was strange to start a move however after a second & third request from him I relented and went outside. My thinking being I hired a moving company so why wouldn't they come with a truck big enough for the move. So the truck was twice the size of what I needed for the move and more than big enough for my furniture to fit. However he starts to tell about how many cubic feet his truck has & that my furniture should only occupy so much space. At first I questioned him on why we were doing this before he and his other 2 crew members began working. His answer was vague and made no sense until he came into my house and proceeded to tell me that my TV's were too big and I had more items than he expected and he would have to use more boxes. So he starts to build a list of additional charges 30 minutes into the packing process. As he's building the list I showed him the written estimate I had with an itemized list of what I was quoted to compare to his list. He was visibly upset and started haggling with me about everything and going back and forth to his truck to talk to the main office. He basically stopped working to haggle with me for the next 3 hours thus slowing down the process. He tried to overcharge me for cubic feet, larger crates for my TV's and extra boxes, shrink wrap, tape etc.. A complete NIGHTMARE so 5 hours later I told him I'd had enough and I call the company directly in front of him to hold everyone accountable to what we agreed on based on a zoom video call I had with the person who gave me the estimate. In this recorded video call we itemized everything that needed to be moved & itemized the size of the furniture, TV's and the amount of boxes and materials needed for the job! The foreman was rude and disgruntled with me and the company at this point. He clearly intended to charge me an additional $1500 based off of his bogus estimate without EVER producing his copy of the original estimate. That was just the beginning of this nightmare with a rude foreman trying to bait and switch the estimate. The quality of the packing was TERRIBLE they basically threw everything in the boxes in no coordination or regard for my property. To make matters worse they didn't label ONE SINGLE BOX! The appointment was for 8am they showed up an hour late, haggled, took multiple cigarette breaks as a group and finished 8 hours later. As I'm communicating my displeasure with the situation to the office they offered me a discount on the initial payment which they honored & promise to discount the balance for my troubles because I paid cash. When my items arrived in Atlanta there was ONE mover to unload the truck and I was told there would be NO unpacking or reassembling. My new apartment is in an apartment building on the 5th floor and the elevator has sensors so basically EVERY TIME he loaded and unloaded the elevator I had to stand there and hold the door. Not to mention he's working alone and asked me to help him which I refused beyond holding the elevator doors. I paid for movers not to work for and with them. So classic poor service and several of my items were damaged upon arrival. Photos were taken of the damaged items with the promise of reimbursement. I have not heard back from the company and I've already accepted the loss so this is my only recourse. In addition to the extra one thousand dollars the company charged me for poor quality I've had to spend an additional $600 for unpacking, breaking down and removing boxes along with reassembling. This company failed me at every step and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them at all! I would give them ZERO stars!!

    Moved from NJ to Myrtle the staff was nice enough . My furniture was placed in storage for a few…read moremonths . The movers were not bad guys and did their best while moving my furniture from NJ home to storage. The furniture was delivered to Myrtle on time however three to four issues arose. My Ethan Allen entertainment center was broke and I was informed by the representative at sea cure to repair and send claim in that was done and they paid me the 120.00 it cost . Next was my Jennifer convertible love seat that was in pristine condition. This piece was ripped at legs and had several burns on side . I called the representative he told me I didn't have full replacement insurance and the claim would be paid at a pro rated amount . The estimate to recover was 350.00 without material . I then called the same representative and he told me to call him after claim was settled and he would try make up the difference which in my opinion would be offset of about 500.00 total for material and recovering of sofa. I get a check from the claims department paying me 180.00 for the love seat. I then call the representative to negotiate in good faith the difference as per his instructions. He sends me an email explaining how I didn't take full replacement and with his discounts I'm actually up money . In my opinion This representative should have been honest and upfront. Why tell a customer that he would make up difference if you never had the intention of negotiating. I gave my furniture to his men in good shape and I can't use it. Last the top of an antique finial broke and the driver of truck glued it back . My home and possessions are immaculate. Last my piano screws were missing and they rigged it with round top screws so now my piano doesn't close flush . Not a bad group but some of my nice furniture was broken and or not usable with no option of being made whole . Last email I got was an accusation saying that by posting this review I'm trying to extort money . The truth is that the representative acted in poor faith as a business owner . Paid a lot of money for less then white glove service . I understand the exposure in a long move and most of my possessions were fine . But not happy with the love seat sleeper outcome .
