I had a good experience here. I was shipping out a saddle and didn't have a box at home for it. Fortunately, UPS packaged it for me! I got a large box that was $8.99. I don't recall an extra "packing" fee or anything, so that was good. The cashier made sure to ask me if it was okay to fold in the saddle's flaps so that I could get a smaller box. I was here in the early afternoon on a Monday, so service was pretty quick! read more

This was my go to store for crating and packaging. Some years ago I needed a vintage keyboard shipped and the buyer was willing to pay for crating. This store was recommended to me. Since the UPS stores are owned by different franchisees, the packing and crating options are not always the same, and this was said to be the best. They did a good job packing and shipping the keyboard, so I brought them several other items that were too big for me to pack, and they did a good job. So why 3 stars instead of 4 or 5? I used to take them my Amazon returns. Then they started charging for that (tape and/or labels, etc). I have a personal rule that I do not use any business that charges extra to return/tape a package, so I will not be back. Many of the other UPS stores accept Amazon returns for free, and I will continue to use those. read more

Came to the location with a return package. For a transaction where the store doesn't benefit the store manager was very courteous and polite. I was also very impressed with how someone was handled who wanted their package boxed and prepped for free. The 'customer' was not respectful and was demanding free packaging. The employee dealing with this person was polite and handled the abuse well. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place for USPS service. They overcharge for everything! The people that work there don't know anything about USPS shipping and always wind up charging me more than I pay at the post office. The stamps are also overpriced. The location is convenient but I'd rather just go to the post office. read more

I'd been to this place a few times and they were okay. Then today I went in with a J Crew return, just a plastic shipping bag, prelabeled & prepaid. I asked if the shipping envelope would be okay if we put a piece of tape over the top. The guy was really rude. He said a piece of tape was 50 cents. I said okay, and handed him a credit card. He said credit card minimum was 3.00, but I could choose to buy something. I looked at all their pens and notebooks and stuff, but it was all triply overpriced, really ridiculous. I said I didn't want anything, so he charged me $3.00 for a piece of tape. I said I'd never heard of such a thing, and he said that "since the Internet explosion" they've just had to recoup their costs on tape. Terrible way to do business. I do a reasonable amount of shipping and this is the most convenient place for me, but I won't be back. read more

I've used the UPS Store on Regent for over 3 years. My company rents a mailbox from them that we check on a daily basis and we have also used their print services on several occasions. In the past three years I have witnessed their interaction with outstanding customers (like myself) to the rare not-so-outstanding customers who are rude and disrespectful. No matter the customers demeanor I have seen nothing but the utmost professionalism from both the employees and the store owner. So needless to say when I came to write a short blurb here and saw the current reviews, I was very shocked. When it comes to international shipments they are an extremely valuable resource. We ship several packages a month internationally using either UPS or DHL and one of the biggest issues we have is figuring out the correct address format. It's much easier for us to leave this part of our business in their hands and we feel very comfortable doing so. Never had an issue and we will continue to use them in the future. Their print services are also very useful for us, especially when it comes to something we need quickly. We recently moved into a new office and needed signage directing our customers and also new business cards with an updated address. The signage we needed quickly but the business cards we needed the next day for an event. I didn't think it was possible but they were able to turn around my order and get the business cards printed the next day; then the signage was completed the day after. All in all a great company. "Meh. I've experienced better." sums it up just right. Forgive me for being an economics major, but I firmly believe that prices should reflect the cost of production. If I need to print a black and white two page document, it should cost 20 or so cents, no matter what the CONTENT of the two pages are. I should not have to pay 10 times this amount just because *what* I need to print is a packaging slip. I raised a question about this while I was in the store, but the guy gave me a condescending speech about how they are a for-profit business, so I just paid quickly to get out of there. $2 is no skin off my nose, but it's the principle of the matter! read more

Called them to find out if my package needed to be signed for . I was at work at this time . They said they couldent help because they and ups are different companies. Lmao they have ups in there name may they should not include ups in name if not same company. read more

When I called about sending a perishable package I was assured that by following their recommendations it would arrive in tact. They did not say to send it overnight, just in a cooler box with ice packs. I dropped the package, which they packed later, out of my sight. The package arrived ruined, with three small ice packs. At first the young employees apologized and promised to fix it. Then the owner, Mark ZImmerman got involved. The employees changed their story about what they recommended, saying I declined their suggestions (why would I do that? I am already spending money to make sure a specialty gift arrives, what is a few bucks more?). ZImmerman proceeded to say he did not believe me, that I was clearly out for the money ($25?!). He refused to apologize at all and was very insulting. Asserting over and over again that he did not believe me, instead that he believed his 2 young, part-time college kid employees who made a mistake then changed their story to cover it up. Worse than the ruined gift, the awful customer service and the run around, is that Zimmerman is teaching young people that if you make a mistake, if you lie about it and are rude enough, it will save you $25 and the need to apologize. read more
